Chapter 921: Chapter 921: Big Mom Appears

"What incredible power!"

Katakuri’s expression shifted instantly as a terrifying force surged from his opponent’s fist. His entire body shuddered under the impact, and he was sent hurtling backward through the air.

At the same time, the purple candy staircase extending into the sky shattered with a thunderous BOOM, dissolving into a cloud of jagged shards.

"Katakuri-sama!"

"Katakuri-sama was blown away!"

"Another one-punch feat! He repelled Katakuri-nii with a single strike!"

The members of the Big Mom Pirates shrieked in horror. Could the man hailed as the Charlotte Family’s greatest masterpiece truly be no match for this intruder?

CRASH—!

Katakuri flipped mid-air and landed heavily on the chateau’s roof. The impact fractured the stone beneath him, sending a thick cloud of dust billowing into the sky.

"Are you all right?" Perospero asked, stumbling back a few steps in concern.

"I’m fine. Stop that man first!" Katakuri shook his head, surreptitiously flexing his aching wrist to work out the numbness.

SWISH—!

Suddenly, a massive arc of sword aura slashed upward from below. The strike was fierce and oppressive, carrying a momentum that seemed capable of splitting the very heavens.

"What a massive slash!"

Aeridar’s Observation Haki flared. He spun around just as the dozens-of-meters-long blade of energy closed in, forcing him to cross his arms instinctively in a defensive guard.

BOOM—!RUMBLE!

In an instant, Aeridar was blasted away. He crashed violently into the side of Whole Cake Chateau, vanishing behind a towering pillar of debris and smoke.

The entire chateau groaned and shuddered. Not only had Aeridar’s impact punched a hole several meters wide into the structure, but the stray energy from that giant slash had carved a vertical fissure nearly a thousand meters high into the building’s facade.

Thump. Thump. Thump.

A heavy rhythmic pounding echoed from below. A woman standing over ten meters tall with long white hair stepped into view. It was none other than Charlotte Smoothie, another of the Three Sweet Commanders.

"Well done, Smoothie!" Perospero looked down, spotting her entering the chateau plaza, and offered a jubilant shout of praise.

Meanwhile, on the fourth floor of the chateau, Aeridar was buried under a mountain of masonry inside a ruined room, with only his head poking out.

"That woman Smoothie... she really plays rough. Next time, I’ll have Arlan teach her some manners," Aeridar grumbled, shaking his head and dusting himself off.

CRASH!

A nearby wall collapsed, and a towering, four-armed, four-legged Biscuit Soldier loomed over him.

"You bastard! That really hurt!" Cracker, hidden deep within his biscuit shell, glared down at Aeridar with eyes full of murderous rage.

Sensing Cracker’s presence, Aeridar unleashed a violent burst of shockwave energy. With a loud BOOM, every brick and stone pinning him down was sent flying.

Aeridar stood up, casually brushing the dust from his shoulders. He looked up at Cracker and grinned provocatively. "Yo, Cracker! You’re such a pain-sensitive brat, surprised you haven’t started crying yet!"

"You...!"

Enraged by the taunt, Cracker let out a feral roar. "Double Pretzel Roll!!!"

With a furious cry, the two massive swords, replicated from his original blade, began to spin at high speeds. Cracker lunged, thrusting the rotating blades directly at Aeridar’s heart.

BOOM!

A massive explosion rocked the floor as the high-speed blades pierced the ground, kicking up a violent gale of dust.

"Hmm?"

Cracker realized he had missed. His Observation Haki told him his target had already moved to the right. He immediately pivoted his biscuit shell and lashed out with two heavy legs in a sweeping kick.

CRUNCH!

The wall disintegrated under the kick. Shards of brick sprayed like shotgun pellets, turning the adjacent room into a complete wreck.

"Fighting me in a place like this with such a bulky body..." Aeridar stood behind Cracker, his arms crossed in a mocking stance. "Did a donkey kick you in the head or something?"

"Shut up, you bastard!"

Cracker spun around in a frenzy, his twin greatswords whistling through the air. The razor-sharp edges sliced through several thick support walls as if they were paper.

Abruptly, Aeridar blurred forward like a ghost, slipping inside Cracker’s guard. His fist, blackened and hardened with Armament Haki, slammed into the Biscuit Soldier’s chest.

"The one who needs to shut up is you!"

BOOM—!

Terrorizing power erupted. Aeridar’s punch snapped the Biscuit Soldier’s torso clean in half. Then, before Cracker’s wide, disbelieving eyes, the fist connected squarely with his actual chest.

CRASH! SMASH! BOOM!

Cracker sprayed a fountain of blood as he was sent flying like a black blur. He smashed through wall after wall, carving a perfectly straight tunnel through the chateau’s interior before finally coming to a stop.

Cracker’s Biscuit Soldiers possessed immense defensive power; it usually took Luffy’s Gear 4 multiple hits to break one. Yet before Aeridar, the armor couldn’t withstand a single blow, and the creator himself was sent packing.

Just then, the surrounding floor and walls began to undulate. The stone became soft and elastic, surging toward Aeridar to crush him.

"This is..." Aeridar’s eyes flickered. He recognized the signature of an Awakened Paramecia ability.

"Back off! Shinra Tensei!!!"

Aeridar clapped his hands together and roared. A titanic repulsive force exploded from his body in a 360-degree radius, leaving no blind spots.

BOOM!

The air rolled in waves as the undulating walls and the floor beneath him were pulverized by the shockwave. Debris shot outward in every direction, and a massive crater dozens of meters wide was carved into the chateau’s interior. Aeridar stood suspended in the center of the void.

"Mochi Thrust!!!"

Before the dust could settle, Katakuri dropped from above. His right arm had transformed into a pale yellow mochi tendril wrapped tightly around his trident. The weapon spun like a high-speed drill as it lunged toward the levitating Aeridar.

"Impact Punch!!!"

Aeridar had already sensed the move. He twisted his hips, hardening his right arm with Haki, and threw an upward punch that collided head-on with Katakuri’s trident.

CLANG—!

The air shuddered violently. Red and black lightning hissed from the point of impact, and a shockwave like a hurricane erupted. The remaining walls and floors of the ruined chateau cracked and groaned, threatening to bring the entire wing down.

Once again, Katakuri was repelled by Aeridar’s sheer physical might. Even his trident, wrapped in mochi, was nearly vibrated out of his hand.

"Hahaha... looks like you’ve still got a long way to go, Katakuri!" Aeridar laughed wickedly, leaping upward to pursue the retreating Commander.

BOOM!BOOM!

Two consecutive explosions rang out as Katakuri and Aeridar smashed through two thick ceilings, reappearing on the very top of the chateau.

Before Aeridar could even find his footing, the clear blue sky was suddenly swallowed by thick, roiling black clouds.

CRACK-BOOM!

A bolt of lightning seared the sky, followed instantly by a world-shaking peal of thunder. The sudden change in weather drained the color from everyone’s faces. They knew exactly what kind of monster was coming.

"GOLDEN RING AERIDAR!!!"

A roar of absolute fury descended from the heavens. A dark cloud drifted toward them at high speed, carrying a gargantuan silhouette.

Aeridar’s expression turned grim. His Observation Haki began screaming a warning as he sensed a crushing, overwhelming presence.

"This is..."

"BIG MOM!"
