Chapter 935: Chapter 935: The Gambit! Grievous Wounds!
"Understood, Mama!"
Receiving Big Mom’s command, the homie earth grinned wide and rolled its massive body.
Rumble, rumble—
Instantly, the entire region shuddered violently, unleashing a thunderous roar as a cataclysmic earthquake, easily registering above a magnitude ten, ripped through the landscape.
The earth fractured into jagged, yawning chasms, the violent tremors tearing through the nearby towns and causing countless buildings to collapse into heaps of rubble.
Disrupted by the devastating shockwaves and the sudden fissures tearing through the ground, the advance of the giant, lion-headed earthen beasts faltered. Their tight, half-moon encirclement broke apart, leaving several gaping vulnerabilities in their formation.
CRACK—
Right on cue, the dark clouds overhead flashed with blinding brilliance. A bolt of lightning as thick as a barrel plummeted from the heavens, striking one of the lion-headed earthen beasts almost instantly.
The raw electrical current surged violently through its core, instantly blasting the dozens-of-meters-tall earthen lion into a rain of shattered rock and flying debris.
Following that, several more massive bolts of lightning tore through the dark clouds, detonating with a succession of thunderous booms that obliterated the remaining earthen lions into complete nothingness.
"Ma-ma-ma-ma! Beautifully done, Zeus!" Charlotte Linlin cackled, a satisfied grin stretching across her face.
At that exact moment, Aeridar shot through the sky at extreme speed, weaving past the stray bolts of blinding lightning as he lunged straight toward her.
"Get lost!"
Catching sight of Aeridar from afar, Charlotte Linlin let out a furious roar. Gripping her blade with both hands, she delivered a ferocious, sweeping slash.
Instantly, a colossal wave of pink flying slash energy erupted, painting the sky and earth in a vivid shade of pink as it soared into the horizon.
Yet, in a flash of movement, Aeridar bypassed the slash, using his instantaneous movement to materialize directly in front of Charlotte Linlin. A dome of translucent white atmospheric pressure enveloped his fist as he drove a heavy punch straight down at her.
"Airquake!!!"
BOOM!
The ground beneath caved in and shattered, sending a dense web of fissures spider-webbing outward as a terrifying shockwave mixed with soil and dust blasted into the surroundings.
"You damned brat..."
Charlotte Linlin held Napoleon horizontally before her, gridlocking against Aeridar’s downward-plunging fist. The immense, localized vibrations sent a violent tremor coursing through her entire body, burying her feet deep into the shattered earth as a trickle of fresh blood leaked from the corner of her mouth.
This punch... actually made her feel the terrifying weight of Whitebeard’s power once again!
"Hahahahaha—!"
Seeing Charlotte Linlin wounded, Aeridar let out a mad laugh and drew back his left fist, driving another heavy punch straight down.
"Don’t get cocky, you miserable brat!"
Driven into a pure frenzy, Charlotte Linlin twisted her torso, throwing her giant blade back as she delivered a devastating counter-punch that struck Aeridar squarely in the chest.
BANG!
With a dull, heavy detonation, her jet-black fist, hardened to absolute density by Armament Haki, unleashed a monstrous display of raw, physical power against Aeridar’s chest, casting a violent ring of shockwaves expanding outward.
"Pfft—"
A look of sheer disbelief flashed across Aeridar’s face as he coughed up three successive mouthfuls of fresh blood.
The impact sent him hurtling backward for dozens of meters before he slammed into the ground, gouging out a massive trench. He skidded violently through the dirt, shattering a raised slab of bedrock before finally coming to a halt, his large frame half-buried under the debris.
Thud, thud, thud, thud...
Without a moment’s delay, Charlotte Linlin stepped forward, her face twisted in a demonic sneer as she hoisted the giant blade Napoleon. Her heavy, thundering footsteps tore across the dirt as she closed the distance instantly, bringing her blade down in a brutal, hacking strike.
Aeridar reacted purely on instinct, rolling frantically to the side. The razor-sharp edge of Napoleon shaved past his flesh, biting deeply into the earth.
BOOM!
In an instant, an astronomical amount of raw physical force detonated from the giant blade, tearing a narrow, horrifyingly deep trench into the island that stretched continuously outward.
"Impact Gun!!!"
Unable to find the footing to stand, Aeridar thrust his right hand forward, snapping his fingers sharply toward Big Mom.
"Hmm?"
Sensing the sudden distortion in the air, Charlotte Linlin swiftly threw up her left arm, hardening it to a glossy jet-black with Armament Haki to block the invisible trajectory.
BANG!
The sheer, surging force rattled against her forearm, dispersing a sharp gale that threw her off balance. She stumbled back several paces, her heavy steps leaving deep, cratered footprints in the dirt.
Seizing the opening, Aeridar executed a swift nip-up, launching himself off the ground. He drove a piercing, straight punch forward like a thrusting spear, the sheer speed of the strike practically detonating the air before it.
BOOM!
Yet, before Aeridar’s fist could bridge the gap to connect with Charlotte Linlin, Zeus, hovering high above, released a bolt of lightning as thick as a barrel, striking Aeridar directly on the skull.
In a fraction of a second, a blinding, electrical current erupted across Aeridar’s body, illuminating the entire battlefield in a stark, white glare.
"Ma-ma-ma-ma—DIE!!!"
Charlotte Linlin laughed maniacally, gripping Napoleon with both hands. Raising the giant blade high above her head, she brought it down in a ruthless, sweeping cleave.
SPLAT—
The razor-sharp edge tore cleanly through Aeridar’s chest, sending a spray of hot, crimson blood splashing into the open air.
"AAAHHH—"
His face contorted in absolute agony, Aeridar let out a piercing shriek of pain as he fell flat onto his back.
In the very next moment, his body began to rapidly compress. His massive, twelve-meter-tall physique shrunk down in the blink of an eye, reverting to his original, one-point-nine-meter frame.
"Ma-ma-ma-ma-ma!!!"
Witnessing this, Charlotte Linlin completely lowered her guard, letting out a booming, triumphant laugh. "Golden Ring brat, if you think you can best me, you’re a hundred years too—"
Before the words could fully leave her mouth, she froze. The long, gruesome laceration carved across Aeridar’s chest by Napoleon was already knitting itself back together at a speed visible to the naked eye...
Suddenly, Aeridar snapped his eyes open, his face twisting into a feral, mocking grin. "You fell for it! Ba Serpent!!!"
Rumble, rumble—
Aeridar slammed his palm flat against the dirt. The ground immediately surged upward like a violent tidal wave, millions of tons of earth and rock rapidly condensing into a titanic, hundreds-of-meters-long earthen serpent. Opening its massive maw, it swallowed the completely blindsided thundercloud Zeus in a single, massive gulp.
Simultaneously, the earth encompassing Aeridar and Charlotte Linlin fractured into a network of jagged chasms. Millions of shattered rocks and soil shot into the sky, converging upon Charlotte Linlin like a swarm of locus. They plastered themselves against her body, layering over her thick and fast.
In the span of a single heartbeat, the endless torrent of rock and earth completely encased her within its center, forming a massive boulder dozens of meters wide that continued to swell rapidly.
"Get up there!!!"
Aeridar swept his hand violently upward. The colossal sphere of rock broke away from the earth, soaring rapidly into the high heavens. A massive trail of residual earth and rock followed it into the sky, continuously compounding onto its mass, adding immense weight and scale to the sphere.
Before long, a gargantuan meteor spanning nearly three hundred meters in diameter hung suspended in the sky like a small, artificial moon, a truly jaw-dropping spectacle of destruction.
CRACK—
Suddenly, a sharp fissure split across the surface of the massive meteor, expanding rapidly as dozens of secondary fractures branched outward.
"It’s no use! You’re already too late!"
Aeridar bared his teeth in a manic, bloodthirsty grin, roaring with a ferocity that bordered on pure insanity: "Planetary Devastation!!!"
With his five fingers splayed wide, he swung his massive hand downward.
WHOOSH—
The titanic meteor plunged from the heavens at an apocalyptic velocity, carving a massive arc through the sky as it hurtled straight toward the ocean below.
BOOM!
Abruptly, a giant blade featuring a wide, demonic maw pierced clean through the interior of the meteor, shattering a massive hole through its core. Accompanying the breach was a colossal wave of pink flying slash energy that dyed the very heavens, tearing downward with cataclysmic momentum.
Elbaf’s Spear: Ikoku Sovereignty!!!
"Damn it!"
Looking up at the sudden, oncoming trajectory of the pink energy wave, Aeridar’s eyes widened in sheer horror. Relying entirely on survival instinct, he triggered his instantaneous movement to warp away from the spot instantly.
BOOM!
Almost simultaneously, the colossal pink slash hit the earth, unleashing a terrifying display of raw power. The entire island shuddered violently as the energy wave blasted a bottomless crater into the ground, whipping up a hurricane-force gale that sent columns of dust soaring dozens of meters into the air.
Meanwhile, onto an empty clearing several hundred meters away, a blood-drenched figure materialized out of thin air, tumbling heavily onto the dirt with a dull thud.
"I... I almost... died there..."
Aeridar lay flat on his back, gasping for air. His entire right arm was completely gone, and half of his torso had been reduced to a mangled, bloody slurry of flesh and bone, leaving glimpses of his internal organs faintly visible beneath the gore.
