"Don't kill me! Don't kill me!!"

A miner was shoved onto the high platform, escorted by two Guardian Knights.

Locke drew the knight's side-sword and pressed it against the man's throat.

"If you don't want to die, tell me what you know!"

The miner's eyes flickered, but he still insisted he knew nothing.

"Don't know? Listen to your voice—so full of vigor, your face even looks flushed! You dare claim you didn't eat the food that man gave you?!"

The miner clenched his teeth, finally bowing his head, silent.

"Plop!"

Locke's blade rose and fell, decapitating the man. He didn't even blink, speaking coldly.

The miner's blood stained the platform red.

Those kneeling around lowered their heads; the atmosphere was oppressive.

The next person brought forward was Old Zhang.

Old Zhang looked utterly calm, laughing toward the sky.

"Kill me! As a human, I've lived this long — that's enough for me! Hahaha!!"

Locke rested the blood-dripping knight's side-sword on Old Zhang's neck and asked in his chilling, sinister voice.

"Would rather die than give up that person? When did you weak, useless humans suddenly grow such backbone?"

Just as Locke's blade was about to fall, one of the kneeling miners stood up.

It was Chen Two.

"Enough! I'm the one who gave them the food!"

As a simulated copy, Chen Two didn't fear death; anyway he could be summoned again tomorrow.

He had intended to observe the situation and report back to the original, but seeing someone about to die, Chen Two decided to speak up.

Locke sized Chen Two up and down.

"I should have guessed it was you, the one with colorful luck, but there's no way you could come and go inside the mine. Where did you get so much food to give them?"

Chen Two put on a casual, swaggering look, arms folded across his chest, standing like the character for 'people'.

"I conjured it out of thin air!"

"Heh, with your postnatal martial artist cultivation level, conjure things out of nothing? Are you kidding me!"

"Damn! You don't even believe the truth!"

"Then conjure one for us to see?"

"You want me to conjure? Fine, I'll conjure. Who the hell are you?"

"You... I'll kill you!"

Several knights in bucket-thick heavy iron armor strode toward Chen Two.

At that moment, another person stood up.

"The food wasn't conjured by him! I conjured it!"

The one who rose was Liu Ying.

Her body trembled slightly.

Locke shot a suspicious look at Liu Ying.

"Then conjure one for us to see?"

Liu Ying looked left and right, stammering.

"So many people... I... I can't conjure it out..."

Locke snarled.

"If you can't conjure it, I'll kill you!"

Before he finished speaking, more miners rose to their feet.

"I conjured the food! It's me! Kill me if you must!"

"I conjured it! I'm the one you're looking for!"

"I conjured it!"

Human miners stood up like bamboo shoots after the rain, one patch of kneeling replaced by standing men!

Old Zhang watched the scene, his blood boiling.

"Neighbors, you're all amazing! Without our benefactor White Porridge, many of us would have starved to death long ago! We absolutely cannot betray him! We've lost too much as humans already; we must not lose our pride too!"

"Plop!!"

Old Zhang's head flew high into the air; blood and tissue gushed from his neck wound, spraying several meters.

Locke's eyes turned cold; he casually tossed the blood-soaked knight's sword aside.

"Enough of your racket!"

Having said that, his gaze swept over those who should have been kneeling but were now all standing, eyes flashing fierce hatred at him.

"Do you intend to rebel?!"

No one dared reply; fear of the alien race had been carved into their subconscious.

Suddenly, a fierce shout came from one of the mine tunnels.

"That's right! We're going to rebel!!"

Locke turned to look and saw you slowly emerging from the tunnel.

He was stunned.

You were right in front of him a moment ago—when did you slip into the tunnel?

He turned again and noticed Chen Two was gone.

Chen Two had been recalled by you.

When Locke shifted his gaze back to you, he saw your hair had turned gold, every strand standing on end!

In the next blink, you moved like a gale toward him.

"A mere Innate Martial Artist, thinking to—"

He didn't finish before your fist smashed into his face.

"Ugh?!"

One punch sent Locke flying; several of his teeth shattered and flew out!

The Guardian Knights beside him had never seen such a scene.

The lowest humans on Fortune Star dared strike the noblest of the Winged God race?

The mine's workers, treated like dirt, dared to hit a White Priest??

The key was, you had actually knocked him away!

You stood on the high platform where Locke had just stood, facing all the miners of Mine Number One.

You picked up two pickaxes from the ground, raised them high above your head, and crossed them together.

"Neighbors! It's come to this — either we die anyway or we fight! Let's take them with us!!"

In these miners' hearts, you were already indistinguishable from a god — you could conjure food out of nowhere and manifest bodies outside yourself. If that wasn't divine, what was?

With this pillar-of-strength's single sentence, the flames in everyone's hearts ignited instantly.

The miners grabbed their pickaxes; adrenaline took over their brains.

"Fight!!"

"They make us work and don't feed us properly! They even want to punish someone who helped us! We've had enough!!"

"Revolt! We'd rather die than continue under these aliens' oppression!!"

The miners were ordinary people with almost no cultivators among them; even those who had once been cultivators had wasted away after long service in the mines.

Currently stationed at Mine Number One was a full Guardian Knight Order detachment of one hundred men — all Innate Martial Artists or Postnatal Martial Artists — and the commander was a Qi Transformation realm practitioner.

They wore lethal armor and were fully armed.

On paper the gap seemed massive, but don't forget — this is the Real Realm.

The Real Realm's rules are stronger, which means the true combat gap between ordinary people and low-grade cultivators isn't as huge as in the Void Realm.

Innate and Postnatal Martial Artists are simply stronger, faster, and more responsive than ordinary people.

Those two realms' cultivators lack True Qi here, and in the Real Realm they can't even use divine marks — in the Void Realm you can use divine marks without True Qi, but you need specific mediums for them.

Mine Number One had one thousand miners; they surged forward en masse, taking advantage of sheer numbers.

Although the knights could kill those at the very front with their weapons, they were soon overwhelmed by more miners trampling over their comrades' corpses.

The miners pinned knights beneath them, dozens teaming up on one man.

First they seized their weapons, then tore off their armor.

Once disarmed, a knight was that much harder to handle for a group of many miners.

Countless pickaxes smashed into knight heads, leaving them mangled and bloody.

Only two people left the miners at a loss.

One was the Scale Clan commander at Qi Transformation realm; the other was White Priest Locke.

But their opponent was... you, the Most Severe Father to Non-Humans!
