The Great Witch Master must have been terrified by Qin Li’s unpredictable Spiritual Attacks. He didn’t show himself for three straight days. But neither Qin Li and Shiyu, nor Sun Sea and the others, believed the Great Witch Master would give up on the Divine Water and Divine Grass so easily. Without those two things, any hope he had of making a comeback was nothing but empty talk!

On the fourth day, Qin Li was cultivating in his room when he suddenly felt a sense of alarm. He sensed a strand of Divine Sense seeping in from outside. When it encountered his Innate Purple Qi, the Divine Sense dodged away with extreme speed, like a mouse seeing a cat.

Qin Li’s heart stirred. He immediately sent his own Divine Sense in pursuit, tracking the other one back to its source. Finally, on the mountain behind the castle complex, Qin Li sensed the Great Witch Master’s presence. And beside him, there were dozens of other relatively strong auras.

Apparently, the Great Witch Master had used the past few days to gather the remnants of his forces and find a few more helpers.

Qin Li quietly sent a voice transmission to Shiyu. After exchanging a few words, he left his room and headed towards the back courtyard of the castle complex.

People who saw Qin Li and Shiyu greeted them one after another. Qin Li, however, told them quite directly that he was heading to the back to draw some Divine Water and eat some Divine Grass!

Qin Li’s voice wasn’t loud—it was at a normal volume—but it was loud enough for the Great Witch Master to hear!

Qin Li kept his Divine Sense locked onto the Great Witch Master the entire time. He felt the Great Witch Master’s Spiritual Power give off a subtle fluctuation the moment he spoke.

Qin Li sneered, a phrase suddenly coming to mind: ’How much trickery can a mere beast muster? It only serves to make one laugh!’

’Without the Be acting as his shabby advisor, the Great Witch Master is really just a powerful brute. The only scheme he could possibly come up with is to lead his pack of beasts to sneak up on the room with the Divine Water, occupy it, and then lure me out to kill me.’

’You brute, I’ll show you what a real scheme looks like!’

With that thought, Qin Li enveloped Shangguan Shiyu in his Innate Purple Qi. The two of them then walked to the door of the room containing the Divine Water. Qin Li could feel the Great Witch Master’s emotional fluctuations growing more intense; it seemed to be a mix of excitement and fury.

CLICK. The lock was opened.

Qin Li pointed inside, but then he and Shiyu drifted away like two weightless souls, hiding beneath a courtyard wall that connected two castles in the back of the complex.

But in the Great Witch Master’s perception, Qin Li and Shangguan Shiyu had already entered the room! The Great Witch Master had always been extremely proud of his perceptive abilities. After all, his realm had reached a brand-new height, a level that others could neither comprehend nor understand!

Therefore, the Great Witch Master simply didn’t believe anyone could hide from his Divine Sense!

The loss he had suffered at Qin Li’s hands that day was, in his mind, only because he hadn’t anticipated how strange Qin Li’s Spiritual Power was. The Great Witch Master didn’t think he was no match for that human. In his heart, he believed no one in this world was his opponent anymore!

So, when he sensed the two of them walk into what was originally his private territory, a burst of rage erupted within him. He stood up and roared to the group of Transformed Spirit Beasts beside him, "Everyone, attack! As long as we can kill these two humans, I, the Great Witch Master, will reward you all handsomely!"

One of the Transformed Spirit Beasts, an old man with white hair and a youthful face who looked relatively normal, stroked his beard and said, "As long as the Great Witch Master is willing to open up the Divine Water and Divine Grass to us, then pledging our loyalty to you is not out of the question! The Great Witch Master was always the greatest expert in this land!"

The Great Witch Master nodded and said viciously, "Just kill those two humans, and from now on, the Divine Water and Divine Grass will be open to you all!"

The Spirit Beasts could no longer contain their excitement. They had come here precisely for these two things. Although drinking Spiritual Water and eating Spirit Grass would alter their appearance, as creatures who were beasts at heart, they considered ugliness to be beautiful and saw human features as the truly ugly ones!

"Charge! Surround that building for me! And without my command, do not destroy any of the structures in this castle!" the Great Witch Master ordered in a deep voice. ’If the buildings are destroyed,’ he thought, ’I’ll never find so many people to rebuild them again!’

The Spirit Beasts roared in agreement. Each one unleashed their full aura, pouncing toward the room like tigers charging down a mountain.

Qin Li and Shiyu remained hidden at the base of the wall, watching the pack of Spirit Beasts fly over their heads one by one. Shangguan Shiyu couldn’t help but feel an urge to cheer for Qin Li.

In broad daylight, the two of them were just standing there, yet this entire group of Spirit Beasts, none of whom were below the Venerable Realm, completely failed to see two living people!

In other words, Qin Li’s Innate Purple Qi had reached a new realm! He could practically merge himself completely with his surroundings!

To the Great Witch Master’s fury, the two sources of Spiritual Power seemed to be frozen in fear. They didn’t even fluctuate, remaining right where they were, completely motionless!

"Do you think I can’t do anything to you if you just hide in there?" The Great Witch Master’s body slowly descended, landing in front of the room’s door. He sneered, "Even if it means destroying the Divine Water and Divine Grass, I will kill you! And not just you—I will slaughter every human in this castle!"

"Hmph! If you dare come in, we’ll destroy the source of this spring! We’ll destroy all the Divine Grass, too! If we die, don’t think you’ll get off easy!" a cold female voice rang out from inside the room.

At the base of the wall, Shangguan Shiyu’s eyes widened in astonishment. Watching the concentrating Qin Li, whose lips were moving slightly, she had a surreal feeling, as if she herself were the one speaking!

’How... how is this possible?’ Shangguan Shiyu decided that after this was all over, she had to ask Qin Li exactly what was going on. ’How could my voice be coming from inside that room?’

The Great Witch Master gritted his teeth. He really was afraid they would destroy the Divine Water and Divine Grass, as that was the very foundation of his power!

"Then tell me, what is it you want?" The Great Witch Master’s eyes stared fixedly at the building made of blue-green stone, his voice incomparably icy.

"Have all your damn lackeys back off! Tell them to scram, the farther the better!" the cold female voice sounded again.

The Great Witch Master hesitated for a moment. It suddenly occurred to him that these two humans should be afraid of *him*, not the other way around. As long as he guarded against that damned male human’s Spiritual Attacks, the two of them together were no match for him!

At this thought, the Great Witch Master sneered, "Fine, I’ll grant your wish!"

With a wave of his hand, all the Spirit Beasts surrounding the door backed away. At the Great Witch Master’s signal, they all retreated deeper into the castle complex but did not leave it entirely.

"What now?" The Great Witch Master grew even more certain. ’These two humans are no match for me at all. If it weren’t for a moment of carelessness, I never would have suffered such a heavy loss! There’s absolutely no way I’m letting them leave safely today!’

"You scram too, you ugly monster! The farther the better! We’ll take some Divine Water and Divine Grass and then leave! Otherwise, we’ll destroy this place!"

The Great Witch Master, who had spent years using threats to force humans to do his bidding, was finally getting a taste of his own medicine. He felt an intense sense of frustration but had no way to retort. At this moment, he found himself sorely missing the days when the Be was alive. The Be could have usually resolved this kind of situation just by showing up.

"I told you to take your beast underlings and get out of this castle complex! Scram far away! Didn’t you hear me? Or do you want me to destroy the source of the Divine Water?" The icy voice was starting to sound impatient.

The Great Witch Master gritted his teeth. ’Fine,’ he thought. ’I’ll just lie in ambush outside, somewhere your Spiritual Power can’t reach. I refuse to believe you won’t come out eventually!’

With that, the Great Witch Master said viciously, "Fine, I agree!" He then led the group of Spirit Beasts into the air and flew toward the outside of the castle complex.

But the very instant the Great Witch Master turned around and leaped into the air, two immense forces fiercely slammed into his body! Accompanying them was an extremely sharp burst of Spiritual Power that, like a Divine Arrow, shot violently into the Great Witch Master’s Sea of Consciousness!

The Great Witch Master, who had kept the focus of his Divine Sense on the room, never would have imagined that two such powerful Martial Artists were hidden right behind him!

Hastily reacting, a power as vast as an ocean erupted from the Great Witch Master’s body. Two giant, blood-drenched hands appeared in the air, clashing with the two forces hurtling toward him.

BOOM!

A large section of the surrounding castles could not withstand the impact of such power. They instantly collapsed, kicking up a sky-filling cloud of dust!

Meanwhile, Qin Li’s blast of Spiritual Power, striking in that unguarded moment, had left the Great Witch Master’s Sea of Consciousness in shambles!

Immediately after, Qin Li gathered all his energy. His Nine Heavens and Ten Lands, Only I am Venerable Sword Intent, carrying an aura of absolute dominance, slashed toward the Great Witch Master!
