The prison cells were quiet and empty. They didn’t find anyone, which made them more alert as they recalled Qasim’s warning.

Slowly, they made their way to a large room. They stepped inside and analyzed their surroundings, but suddenly, the door behind them closed.

They turned around and found a Gorilla Beastkin forcing the door shut with a metal rod, wrapping it around the door handle.

"Just two? Hmph. That’s so disrespectful!"

The Gorilla said while looking at the two humans. Then, he showed a big smile.

"Although nasty humans like you don’t deserve to know my name, I have to warn you... I am the strongest Mahik in this place."

He suddenly launched himself at Doran.

The two collided head-on.

"I hope you manage to entertain me!"

He said as he overpowered Doran and sent him flying into the wall.

He then looked at Levia, only to be met by a large fireball flying directly toward his face.

The Gorilla recovered from the attack and saw a beam of light coming from his side, while another fireball came from the front.

He smiled and jumped high into the air, dodging both attacks. He then used the ceiling to launch himself toward Levia at incredible speed.

Levia quickly surrounded herself with several earth pillars, but the Gorilla was too strong and managed to break through them.

"Haha! Is that all, weak human?!"

He screamed in excitement.

But then he noticed that Levia was no longer there.

He looked around and found Doran putting Levia down on the ground. The two locked eyes.

Then, in the next second, Doran disappeared.

"Huh?"

The next moment, the Gorilla received a powerful punch to the face, sending him several feet backward.

He quickly looked ahead, but there was nothing there.

Then another punch landed on his back.

The Gorilla angrily looked behind him and found Doran staring at him.

The Gorilla screamed again and launched himself toward Doran.

The big guy managed to block his attack, but the Gorilla suddenly used his jaw to bite down on Doran’s hand.

Doran screamed as blood ran down his hand before the Gorilla kicked him and sent him flying into the wall.

"C’mon now!!"

The Gorilla launched himself at him again and started punching him over and over, while Doran did his best to withstand the attacks.

A big smile appeared on the Gorilla’s face as he decided to use a powerful attack with both hands.

The Gorilla laughed as he watched his injuries heal. Then, he looked at his enemies with anger.

He first dodged Levia’s fireball and moved to kill her with a single punch to the head, but Doran stopped him.

The Gorilla tried to overpower him again, but Levia attacked his lower half with an earth pillar, causing him to once again feel that horrible pain and scream in anger.

"Stop hitting that place—"

Before he could finish, Doran blasted him with his light, sending him flying.

Then, both of them began attacking him with long-range attacks, from fireballs to beams of light.

Soon enough, the Gorilla felt overwhelmed.

But thanks to his healing ability, he managed to stand up again and walk straight through their attacks.

Without dodging or moving away, he continued walking directly toward them, allowing his healing to completely overwhelm the damage he received.

A big, crazed smile appeared on his face.

"You can’t kill me! I am inv—"

Right then, Doran used Light Dash again and stabbed him with a sharp earth pillar created by Levia.

The sudden attack made the Gorilla’s eyes widen, but he managed to grab Doran by the hand and pull him in front of himself, using him as a human shield.

Levia immediately stopped when she saw the Gorilla hiding behind Doran.

"HAHA! Weak!"

He then began trying to tear Doran apart while still hiding behind him, stepping closer to Levia.

But to his surprise, Doran suddenly began glowing.

A beam of light shot directly into the Gorilla’s face, burning his eyes.

The Gorilla threw Doran onto the ground and screamed as he desperately tried to open his healing eyes.

But once he did, he saw Levia using the earth pillar that Doran had stabbed him with as a channel to push fire directly into the Gorilla’s body.

As his insides burned, he managed to hit Levia, sending her flying.

But suddenly, another beam pierced through his heart, which was already burning from the inside.

And as he was about to whisper another spell, Doran managed to stab his mouth with another earth pillar.

"Just die!"

Doran screamed as the Gorilla tried to push him away.

But in the next second, the Gorilla’s eyes finally began losing focus.

His body went limp, and he finally dropped dead onto the ground.

Doran rolled to the side before standing up and running toward Levia.

Thankfully, he found her breathing and still conscious.

"Did we..."

"Yes. He’s dead. We won."

"That’s a relief..."

"Don’t move. Let me carry you."

"No, that’s embarrassing..."

"So you prefer walking?"

"...Just this once, okay?"

As Doran lifted Levia, another voice suddenly came from behind them.

"Oh, look at you two~"

They turned their heads to see the newcomer.

It was an old lady with red eyes and gray hair.

As Doran thought about his next move, the old lady suddenly spoke again.

"Do you guys really not recognize me?"

Both Levia and Doran’s eyes widened as they realized whose voice it was.

"Lady Aurora?"

"Indeed, it’s me..."

Aurora now looked much older—or, to be accurate, she looked like her actual age now.

She looked at both of them before speaking in a serious tone.

"We need to talk."

"My team are dead."
