Power Drawback: Every time he exerts power—especially when protecting others—his hormonal systems go haywire. Basically, heroism = horniness. The more self-sacrificing the act, the harder it hits him.

Origin:

Grant Sterling was born on a humble Kansas farm to God-fearing parents who taught him discipline, humility, and the American Dream. One night, while tending to the fields, he was struck by a "mystical comet from the heavens." Instead of killing him, it gave him the strength of a thousand men and the power of angels.

Raised with traditional values, Grant vowed to use his powers for good, protecting the weak and embodying the virtues of purity, sacrifice, and chastity. His virginity? A sacred vow, kept to ensure his strength remains unsullied by temptation.

He became All-Star—Earth's most righteous hero.

Reality: Was adopted by lab-assistants, grew up on a military base where scientists tested radiation exposure on soldiers (enlistees)- radiation from said comet in the origin story. In-personel, of course, Grant did what curious kids in strange places do best- sneak in during experiments in progress. His powers manifested at 14. Unfortunately, so did the drawback, discovered from crushing on a hot military baddie shortly before sneezing out soldiers to reported injuries.

Reality:  Reckless, horny, needs handlers 24/7. Servant/Laissez-faire leadership. Takes action despite showing fear. Proudly admits social justice advocates are the real heroes.
