"Well," Luke said. "I guess it is time for me to get to work."

"Yes, it is!" the Insect Princess chorused.

Luke pointed at the far hills where his shop was located in this world, and the Insect Princess offered to walk back there with him.

Upon their arrival, crowds of insects gathered at the front of the workshop, cheering and whooping. No longer running away in fear, they were now welcoming Luke as one of their own. Hopefully, all the worlds Luke gets to face will be as friendly as the Insect World.

He opened his workshop and stepped inside. The appearance was old-fashioned, but it was everything Luke expected. The walls and the roof were wooden, a cone hung over the fireplace, tools were scattered across workbenches, and two windows let in sunlight.

This workshop was a slight upgrade from his soul space, yet also far from the best. From the clinker to the chimney, Luke let his eyes touch everything, acknowledging that he had a lot of upgrading to do.

Amigo was so excited, he danced around.

"Master, everything is here. All our metal, the ores, and the leather!"

Meanwhile, the Insect Princess kept talking about how great the workshop was.

"Wow, this place is fantastic," the Princess said, poking Luke’s anvil. "It smells like hard work and victory. Now that the Armorer has his shop again, my uncle’s colony won’t stand a chance. Our soldiers are going to smash through those renegades!"

However, Luke felt the workshop was incomplete without fire. He walked over to the forge, ignited a ball of Flame in his palm, and introduced it to the furnace. Slowly, the fire crackled until it became a roaring inferno.

That same familiar warmth returned. Luke couldn’t help but wonder if by any chance his workshop had something to do with—

〖Warning: Host has only 5 minutes left before being forced out of the Insect World.〗

"Hey, that was too fast. I thought getting my soul to D would give me much time to stay out."

"Master, I think it’s because your soul space and another world are different things," Amigo explained. "Your soul space relies on your soul capacity, but staying in foreign dimensions costs Aeon. Your Aeon is running low."

"So, that’s how it is?" Luke muttered. Then, he turned to the Princess. "Unfortunately, Princess, I have to return for now."

"Wait, you’re leaving already?!" the Princess squeaked, panicking as she saw his form flicker. "Hold on! Don’t vanish yet! You need to take your rewards first!"

The item list appeared:

〖Insect Metal x2 (Size 1)〗 〖Insect Leather x5 (Size 1)〗 〖Insect Thread x2 (Length 1)〗 〖Insect Rune x2〗 〖Multivein Leaf x7〗

Luke was wide-eyed as he looked at the floating items. "This is incredibly generous of you, Princess."

"Do not sweat it, Armorer. You are going to save my people."

"Amigo, look, it’s the Multivein Leaf," Luke said enthusiastically, holding one up in the air. "Since we got these rare leaves from her, we can finally cultivate your next evolution path!"

"Yay! Yay! Yay!" Amigo cheered.

While his turtle celebrated, Luke thought about how he could fulfill his end of the bargain by forging 12,000 armor pieces as fast as possible, all while refueling his Aeon. At the same time, he had to manage newer forge requests from both the Insect World and Earth. That was a lot of baggage to juggle all at once.

This meant his best approach was to leave Amigo behind in the workshop as his proxy and return to Earth alone.

"Amigo, you’ll stay in the Insect World. Eat one Multivein Leaf daily to cultivate, network with locals, and accept new forge requests. Meanwhile, I’ll be on Earth, auto-forging the armor orders in large batches to send through the system."

"Master, you are even smarter than me," Amigo praised with a salute. "I will guard the shop!"

Luke and the Insect Princess shared a friendly hug to say goodbye, and then he vanished from the spot—but not before stealing one last glance at the furnace flames.

Luke snapped back to his body on Earth, feeling the contrast between the atmosphere of the Insect World and the comfort of his bed. He was still lying exactly as he had left things—Scarlett’s perfect body lay on him, still connected.

His senses flooded back into his mind, offering some sort of safety and comfort he’d never felt before. Slowly, Luke relaxed on the bed and gently squeezed Scarlett while cupping her sleeping face with his other hand.

Scarlett stirred awake and looked up at him with a sleepy smile. Before either could speak, they wrapped each other in a tight hug and shared a morning kiss.

"I hope you have a spare uniform," Scarlett whispered into his mouth.

"Yes. You can wear mine," Luke breathed back.

Satisfied with his answer, Scarlett finally rolled off his body. After sitting up for a brief moment, she stood straight up from the mattress. Luke enjoyed the view as her body jiggled and her breasts bounced while she walked across the room toward the bathroom.

Since she left the bathroom door open, Luke got out of bed and joined her, where they ended up having another round under the running water.

By the time they finished the act and dried off, Scarlett got dressed in Luke’s uniform. Instead of a skirt, she now wore pants. It made her look more formal. Meanwhile, Luke threw on casual wear because he was only scheduled for a visit to the clinic to check on his injuries.

The two of them finally stepped out of his dorm room and walked down the hallway together. At the end of the corridor, they prepared to head their separate ways, promising to keep in touch over the phone.

But they were not alone in the hallway. Todd and Kevin, the two seniors from earlier, stepped out of their own dorm rooms further down the hall, freezing in their tracks. They watched Scarlett walk away down the path while Luke stood, staring at her go.

"Isn’t that the top student Scarlett Trump from the second year? Standing outside a room with the disgrace, Luke Kingsley?"

"Did they just spend the night together?!
