OutBreak Survival

Chapter 150: Gulf of Panama. Changing Plans.

You're still catching your breath on top of Maria when Nami speaks up from where she's perched on the edge of the bed, orange hair falling loose around her shoulders.

"We're about to reach the Gulf of Panama," she says, her tone shifting from satisfied to professional. "But there's a problem."

Rika straightens from where she's been leaning against the bedpost, her tactical vest still unbuttoned. "The canal's become a warzone. Navy personnel can't get anything operational. Local survivors aren't cooperating."

Albedo steps forward, her white gown pristine despite the intimate session. "I activated the lightbend enchantment when we entered disputed waters. We're invisible to anyone watching the approach."

"Good call," you say, rolling off Maria to sit up. "Thank you for handling that."

Rika nods, then continues. "Even if we could get through, it wouldn't make sense to try. The entire canal needs inspection and manning before larger ships can transit safely."

You frown. "What do you mean by manning? I thought it was just a set of water elevators with a deepened waterway."

Rika shakes her head. "It's more complicated than that. While we agree the Panama Canal isn't a natural deepwater passage - and is essentially a deepened river system with locks. There are train systems on both sides that guide ships through the narrow channels and actually pull them along. Without those trains operational and coordinated teams at every lock station, nothing our size can transit."

"The Navy's current estimate is three to four weeks minimum before reopening, after multiple searches for traps and sunken ships in the waterway..." Albedo adds, her golden eyes calculating. "That assumes they can establish control over the local survivor populations first. From what intelligence we've gathered, those groups are extremely hostile to outside authority."

Maria sits up beside you, violet eyes thoughtful. "So we're looking at either attempting circling around the southern continent, or waiting for Navy clearance."

"Cape Horn in an amphibious transport dock, I've gone over those weather records." Nami mutters, her navigator's instincts clearly uncomfortable with that option. "That's not ideal even with enchantments. Those waters are brutal."

Bulma crosses her arms, still half-dressed. "What about flying over? We have helicopters."

"Leaving the Anchorage behind?" Rika responds immediately. "Even with refueling enchantments, we'd need multiple staging points."

Kurumu's wings flutter nervously. "So what do we do?"

You shift your weight slightly, Maria's legs holding you close, her breath evening out as she recovers.

"The Canal's out for at least a month," you begin, meeting Nami's orange eyes across the room. "If you don't want to risk the Anchorage through Cape Horn, then we adapt. I'll remote-enchant whatever infrastructure the Canal needs - locks, trains, control stations - connect them to the network for power and repairs. That's my contribution to humanity."

Nami straightens slightly, listening intently.

"Then I'll leave the Anchorage's next route to our greedy captain." You lean down, catching her lips in a brief kiss that makes her flush deepen. When you pull back, she's smiling despite herself.

Bulma crosses her arms, blue ponytail swaying as she nods. "Flying makes sense. We've got the helicopters."

"Helicopters that don't need to stop for fuel," you continue, carefully withdrawing from Maria and sitting up. "We just need to figure out where we're going. Rika -" You turn toward where she's leaning against the bedpost, still half-naked but already shifting into tactical mode. "Ask the Navy where the largest cruise ships have anchored and what their current status is."

Rika nods once. "I'll contact Webb directly. He'll have that information in his access."

"If we rotate pilots, we can reach almost anywhere on Earth without issue," you add, thinking through the logistics. "I'll create a Teleportation Circle in the Stallion - make it so we can walk back and forth to the Anchorage anytime. Same with the cruise ships once we reach them."

Albedo's golden eyes gleam with approval. "A mobile anchor point. Elegant solution."

Maria slides her arms over your shoulders, violet eyes thoughtful as she teases you with her nipples almost touching. "The cruise ships will have significantly larger passenger capacity than the Anchorage. If they're intact and defensible..."

"They could house thousands," Kurumi finishes, her heterochromatic gaze distant as she considers timelines. "Properly enchanted, they become floating cities."

Hinata fidgets slightly, lavender eyes passing over her clothes. "Goshujin-sama, should I begin reconnaissance preparations?"

"Not yet, those ships should either be strictly controlled survivor groups or zombie nests at the moment..." you reply, reaching up to cup Maria's breasts. "Let's get locations and status first. Rika, how long until you can reach Webb?"

Rika's already pulling her tactical vest back on. "He should respond within the hour." She, nods once to you, then strides out through the bedroom door toward the main hall. Her footsteps fade quickly.

You settle back against Maria, feeling her arms tighten around your torso from behind, her breasts pressing warm against your shoulder blades. She's still naked, her violet eyes watching the others with quiet calculation as they begin retrieving scattered clothing.

"Kurumu," you say, turning your head slightly. "How was your first turn?"

The succubus pauses mid-reach for her purple panties, blue hair falling across her face. A slow smile spreads across her lips. "Incredible," she breathes, wings fluttering once. "I've imagined it almost constantly through the morning, but actually feeling your tongue, your hands... Brad-sama, you made me feel like I was the only person in the world for those minutes."

Bulma snorts softly as she pulls her underwear back on. "That's the point, isn't it? Everyone gets their moment."

Kurumu's smile doesn't fade. "Yes. And mine was perfect."

Nami's still lying on the bed nearby, orange hair splayed across silk sheets, catching her breath. You shift slightly in Maria's grip - she tightens briefly, a wordless reminder not to start undressing everyone again - and meet Nami's eyes.

"Nami, I need to tell you something," you begin. "I was planning to claim your virginity during our trip through the Panama Canal. The canal's this world's closest thing to Reverse Mountain, navigating that narrow passage, crossing a continent from ocean to ocean... it felt symbolic. But since that's off the table now..."

Nami props herself up on one elbow, curiosity replacing her satisfied exhaustion. "What are you saying?"

"Two options," you continue. "We take the speedboat into the canal secretly, just us, navigating those waters together while invisible. Or..." You pause deliberately. "You wait until I claim you on the bridge of your second ship."

Her eyes widen. "Second ship?"

"A luxury cruise liner," you explain. "Built for thousands of passengers. Rika's contacting Webb right now to find out where the largest ones are anchored. Once we secure one and I enchant it, you'll be captain of a floating city."

Nami sits up fully now, breasts swaying with the movement, her expression shifting through shock to calculation to wonder. "A cruise ship? You're serious?"

"Completely. Teleportation circle will let you walk from bridge to bridge like passing through rooms. Your virginity claimed on the bridge of a vessel ten times this size, overlooking an entire city's worth of ship that'll depend on your navigation."

Kurumu whispers, "That's so romantic..."

Nami's breathing faster now, her navigator's mind clearly racing through possibilities. "The bridge of a cruise liner... claiming me while I'm surrounded by all that money, all that space..."

Maria's grip on you loosens slightly - approval, you think. Albedo speaks from where she's been observing. "A captain's deflowering on her flagship's bridge. Symbolically appropriate."

Bulma finishes dressing. "So what's it going to be, Nami? Sneaking into the canal, or waiting for your throne?"

Nami's orange hair cascades over her shoulders as she meets your eyes with fierce determination. "Just us in the cruise ship bridge," she says firmly. "I want to be claimed where everyone can see what I'll be commanding. Where I can look out and know it all depending on my navigation." Her voice drops slightly, gaining edge. "But after that, we're taking the speedboat into the canal anyway. I want both."

You smile at her possessive tone. "Deal."

Around the bed, the others are pulling clothing back on. Kurumu's wings flutter as she catches you watching the purple panties sliding up her thighs. Hinata smooths her miniskirt down, lavender eyes still soft from satisfaction. Kurumi gives a slow look as she covers her breasts back into place.

Maria releases her grip on your torso, sliding back with a satisfied expression as you stand. You turn toward Albedo, who's watching the group with golden eyes that gleam with approval.

You cross to her, cupping her face gently and drawing her into a slow, deep kiss. She responds immediately, pressing against you despite being fully dressed in her white gown. When you break the kiss, you ask, "Was the Mansion's bed satisfactory?"

Albedo's smile is genuine, not her usual calculated expression. "Perfect. The space, the privacy, the furniture quality - everything exceeded expectations. This spell solves multiple logistical problems simultaneously."

"Then I'm making it permanent, well automatically re-casting..." you decide, pulling out your phone. Your fingers move across the interface. You find Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion in the active spell list and toggle it from manual-cast to automated. The interface prompts you for duration settings - you select continuous recast, maintaining the door in the galley semi-permanently.

The mana cost appears: 220 mana every 24 hours, that's easily sustainable.

"Done," you announce. "The Mansion will either stay active indefinitely now, or toss everyone out every 24 hours and recast itself... Door stays in the galley."

Kurumi tilts her head, heterochromatic eyes curious. "So we can walk into a private 5000-square-foot mansion whenever we want?"

"Yea. For now, think of it as our communal residence aboard ship."

Maria nods approvingly. "Smart allocation. The modified storage room was functional, but this gives us genuine convenience and comfort without reducing ship efficiency."

Nami stretches languorously on the bed, clearly satisfied with both her climax and her negotiated claiming plans. "The sooner we find my flagship, the sooner I get everything I want."

You catch Nami's satisfied smile and meet her eyes seriously. "Be careful what you wish for," you say. "Even Midas had to learn that gold had a price."

Nami tilts her head, orange hair falling across one shoulder. "Midas? Who's that?"

"A story about an ancient king," you explain, settling back against Maria who's still warm beneath you. "Had everything - wealth, power, friendship of the gods themselves. One of those gods granted him a wish: everything he touched would turn to gold. Decorations, furniture even pets and food."

Bulma sits up straighter, blue ponytail swaying. "That sounds amazing."

"Until he touched his daughter," you continue. "Turning her into a golden statue. Some versions say he begged the gods for mercy and they reversed it. Others say he accidentally touched himself, became a living gold statue still able to transmute anything. His subjects cut off both hands, mounted them on wooden pegs - lost to history now. If anyone finds those hands, they'd have that same power. Most treasure hunters who go looking end up as gold statues themselves."

Kurumu's wings flutter nervously. "That's horrible..."

"That's greed," Maria says quietly beneath you. "Wanting everything without considering cost."

Nami's expression shifts, calculation replacing her earlier playfulness. "So you're saying I should be careful about demanding both the cruise ship bridge and the speedboat infiltration?"

"I'm saying think about what you actually want," you reply. "The canal, while dangerous - hostile survivors, possible infrastructure collapse, unknown hazards. The enchantments and spells make it safe enough for us, but after? What are you intending to do with gold and gems when there's nothing to spend it on?"

Albedo stands, golden eyes gleaming as she pulls her white gown back into place. "A wise question for any navigator to consider." She moves toward the bedroom door. "I'll return to monitoring our approach. The Gulf of Panama won't wait for philosophical discussions."

Bulma stretches, checking her clothing. "Come on, Hinata, Nami - let's get those flying lessons in while Brad's busy with... whatever he does next." She glances at the door. "Kurumu, you coming?"

Kurumu shakes her head, blue hair bouncing. "I want to finish reading Rosario + Vampire first. I'm almost done with volume eight."

"Your loss." Bulma heads for the exit, Hinata and Nami following.

Maria finally slides out from beneath you, standing gracefully despite your combined fluids coating her inner thighs. She leans down, capturing your lips in a slow kiss that tastes like satisfaction and promise. When she breaks away, violet eyes dancing, she murmurs, "Next time you need a pussy to fill, call Mikasa. She's been restless."

You watch her sway toward the door, then turn to find Kurumi still sitting cross-legged on the bed, heterochromatic eyes fixed on you with obvious amusement.

"Well, well," she says, French maid outfit perfectly arranged despite the recent activities. "It seems I've been left alone with my Master. However shall we pass the time?"

You lean close to Kurumi, hands sliding along the curves of her waist as you draw her against you. Her heterochromatic eyes widen slightly, lips parting as you kiss her - slow, deliberate, tasting the lingering sweetness from lunch. Your fingers trace up her spine through the thin fabric of her French maid outfit, feeling her shiver.

"Being left alone with my naughty maid," you murmur against her mouth, "seems like something someone set up."

Kurumi's breath catches. "Perhaps certain someones recognized an opportunity."

"And while I'd love nothing more than to pull this outfit back off you and lose myself in your embrace..." You pause, letting your hands rest on her hips. "I sadly have things I should do. Would you please wait here and play mansion tour guide for everybody?"

Her expression shifts through disappointment to understanding to playful acceptance within seconds. "Master delegates his maid to hospitality duties while he handles strategic matters. How very...responsible of you." She steps back, smoothing her skirt. "I'll ensure everyone understands the Mansion's features properly."

You kiss her forehead once more, "Thank you." then head back through the doorway into the galley.

The climb up to Monkey Island is simple. When you emerge onto the observation deck, you find Riveria and Emilia standing at the forward rail, both scanning the horizon with focus.

Riveria wears only her anchoring band, collar, and a white lace bra with matching panties - her royal bearing somehow undimmed by the minimal clothing. Emilia's dressed more practically in a simple blouse and skirt, silver hair caught in loose waves.

Neither woman acknowledges your arrival immediately, their attention fixed outward. You approach quietly, noting three distant shapes on the water - commercial vessels, from their profiles. All moving slowly, possibly drifting.

"Nobody's looked twice at us," Riveria says without turning. "The lightbend enchantment holds perfectly even at this distance."

You place your hands gently on Riveria's sides just above her hips, feeling her stiffen slightly at the contact before relaxing. Her skin is warm beneath your palms, elvish physiology maintained perfect temperature by Thermostatis despite the morning breeze.

"Albedo took initiative without asking permission," you appreciate, keeping your voice level.

Emilia glances back, violet eyes cautious. "Riveria suggested maintaining watch rotations during approach to populated waters. We...assumed you'd approve."

Riveria's breathing shifts subtly under your touch. "The watch rotation was tactical necessity before this Emilia, offering to include you seemed obvious. Three vessels visible means potentially dozens more beyond visual range."
