Somewhere not far from the San Fulgen royal courthouse.

Two demons were seen wreaking havoc. The two demons were able to wreak havoc there because they were chasing a group of people fleeing a demonic attack at the courthouse. The two demons were currently being handled by several knights on the scene. The knights were wearing uniforms similar to those worn by Commander Mina.

"How are we supposed to deal with those two demons? We did manage to attack them and injure them, but none of our attacks were fatal," said one knight.

"The point is let's just keep attacking those two demons. We can't let them continue wreaking havoc here," said another knight.

The knights continued to attack the two demons with their magic and weapons. However, despite their constant attacks, the demons remained undefeated, as their attacks didn't inflict any fatal injuries. The demons were still able to fight back when attacked by the knight. Some of the knights were injured by the two demons' attacks.

"Even though we kept attacking them, they still wouldn't fall. In fact, our knights were falling one by one. If only Commander Mina were here, she could easily handle those two demons," said one knight.

"That's true, but Commander Mina is currently guarding Lord Duke San Lucia, so we have to defeat those two demons ourselves," said another knight.

The two demons continued to attack the knights who were attacking them. As the two demons were attacking them, two gunshots suddenly rang out. The gunshots startled the knights present. After the gunshots were heard, one of the two demons suddenly fell and lay on the road. There were holes in the head and left chest of the fallen demon. The demon remained motionless.

The knights present were shocked to see one of the demons suddenly collapse. They immediately turned in the direction of the gunshots. They saw a woman holding a handgun in her left hand and a rapier in her right. She was aiming her handgub at the fallen demon, meaning she was the one who had killed it. The knights who saw her immediately smiled and cheered. This woman was Commander Mina.

"Commander Mina, you've finally arrived," the knight said, cheering.

Commander Mina ignored the knight's cheers. Instead, she fired at the remaining demon. However, the demon noticed Commander Mina's shots and quickly dodged them. Although the demon dodged Commander Mina's shot, it at least prevented it from attacking the knights and chose to keep its distance. Then, Commander Mina began walking towards the gathered knights.

"I apologize for being late," Commander Mina said.

"It's ok, Commander. In fact, we're glad you came to help us," said a knight.

"That's right, Commander," said another knights.

"I see," said Commander Mina.

"But by the way, Commander, if you've come here, what about Lord Duke? Aren't you the one in charge of guarding and protecting Lord Duke?" asked a knight.

"Lord Duke said he wouldn't be hurt there. Besides, there are already many knights guarding Lord Duke's premises. That's why Lord Duke ordered me to follow you all. The slash was aimed at Commander Asier, but Commander Asier quickly dodged the attack. Commander Oliver, seeing Commander Asier fighting, immediately shouted to him. Commander Oliver decided to shout because the distance between them was quite far, so without shouting, his voice would not necessarily be heard.

"Asier, don't try to block the attack from ~Dark Magic~ with your magic. Attacks from ~Dark Magic~ can easily destroy attacks or defenses from other magic. Although you can block the attack from ~Dark Magic~ with other elemental magic that is stronger than ~Dark Magic~ itself, I advise against trying. Commander Asier then dashed toward the demon that had attacked him with the previous slash. The demon that had attacked Commander Asier with the ~Dark Magic~ slash was Commander Luka. Commander Luka continued to attack Commander Asier with slashes from his sword imbued with ~Dark Magic~, but Commander Asier easily dodged them. Commander Asier then prepared his sword to attack Commander Luka.

Commander Asier attacked Commander Luka with his technique, but Commander Luka quickly blocked the attack with his sword imbued with dark magic. Their swords clashed.

"I never thought we'd fight like this, Commander Luka. We've often argued and disliked each other, but we never considered fighting. Seeing you transformed into a demon like this and not even speaking a word, it seems you've been forcibly transformed by someone, and that person is currently controlling you," Commander Asier said.

Commander Luka didn't respond to Commander Asier's words. He continued to wield his sword to suppress Commander Asier's. However, Commander Luka's sword suddenly began to slowly freeze.

"I will soon end your suffering so you won't be controlled by anyone else, Commander Luka," Commander Asier said.

Commander Asier then increased his strength to suppress Commander Luka. Commander Luka was slowly pushed back in the swordfight. His sword had completely frozen. Moments later, Commander Luka was defeated in the swordfight, sending him flying, crashing against the wall of the courthouse gate. The area where Commander Luka had struck began to fill with smoke.

Meanwhile, after Commander Asier successfully knocked Commander Luka away, five demons shot towards him, preparing to attack him from behind. Commander Asier noticed this, immediately turning his head and preparing to attack the five demons with his sword. However, just as Commander Asier was preparing to attack the five demons, Commander Luka suddenly shot out from behind the smoke and attacked Commander Asier with his claws. Commander Asier noticed this and quickly avoided Commander Luka's attack. However, Commander Luka's attack was so fast that Commander Asier couldn't fully avoid it. Commander Asier's right hand was injured from being scratched by Commander Luka's attack.

Commander Asier then looked at his injured hand and then turned to Commander Luka. He saw that there was a large chunk of ice stuck to his body. Despite the chunk of ice sticking to his body, Commander Luka still hadn't fallen.

"Even with the wounds from that attack, you still haven't fallen. It seems it's indeed difficult to defeat a strong person who has transformed into a demon. I'm fortunate that you don't have your own consciousness because you're currently being controlled. If you had, I might have been defeated long ago. Because from what I know, you're skilled with the sword, Commander. If you had become a demon and had your own consciousness, your sword skills would have definitely increased. Therefore, I'm grateful that you don't have your own consciousness," said Commander Asier.

Meanwhile, the five demons who had previously tried to attack Commander Asier were now preparing to attack him again. They were seen opening their mouths to shoot dark magic from their mouths. The dark magic was fired at Commander Asier, but Commander Asier easily dodged all the magic attacks.

After being attacked by the demons, Commander Asier prepared to counterattack the five demons.

Suddenly, snowflakes began to fall and shower the five demons. Some of the snowflakes were seen sticking to their bodies. Then, suddenly, Commander Asier shot forward, preparing to slash the five of them with his sword.

The five demons' bodies that were hit by the snowflakes were immediately severed after being slashed by Commander Asier. Whether it was their necks, arms, torsos, or legs, all the limbs attached to the snowflakes from Commander Asier's magic were instantly severed. The five demons immediately fell, their bodies dismembered.

After Commander Asier launched this attack, Commander Luka darted toward him again, attacking him with claws imbued with dark magic. However, Commander Asier recognized this and quickly blocked the attack with his sword. Commander Asier's sword and Commander Luka's claws clashed.

"It's a shame you weren't near those five demons, Commander Luka. If you were, you would have been hit by that hail of snowflakes. That way, I could have easily cut you open. For now, I won't use that technique in a one-on-one fight against you, as it's better used when I'm surrounded like I was," said Commander Asier.

Meanwhile, Commander Oliver was currently fighting Duke James and three other demons. The three demons continued to attack Commander Oliver simultaneously. However, Commander Oliver easily blocked and dodged the attacks. As Commander Oliver was dodging the attacks from the three demons, Duke James quickly approached Commander Oliver and prepared to attack him. Commander Oliver, however, realized this and immediately dodged Duke James's attack. However, his attack was so fast that Commander Oliver was still injured because he couldn't completely avoid the attack.

"Lord James's demons form always attack me when I'm focused on fighting those three demons. Meanwhile, if I'm focused on fighting Lord James, those three demons will attack me. They may seem mindless because they're being controlled, but they can use troublesome strategies to attack me."

"I have to defeat either Lord James or those three demons to avoid being overwhelmed by them. And it seems I have to defeat those three demons first, because they seem easier to defeat than Lord James," thought Commander Oliver.

Then Commander Oliver prepared to attack the three demons.
