When we arrived at the front gate of the dormitory, we saw Noa and the others standing there. However, we didn't see Charles and Chloe among them.

"So you're here," I said.

"Ah, Rid, I'm sorry we left you two in front of the academy lobby. You two were having a great conversation, so we didn't feel like disturbing you, so we decided to head straight back to the dormitory," Noa said.

"It's ok, Noa. By the way, where are Charles and Chloe?" I asked.

"Charles and Chloe, they both rushed back to their dormitory as soon as Miss Karina finished explaining. When we saw you two chatting in front of the academy lobby, we decided not to disturb you. But then we saw Charles and Chloe hurrying back to the dormitory. We decided to chase after them, but Charles, knowing we were following them, told us not to follow them. Charles also said not to worry. So we didn't follow them all the way to the dormitory and just waited here," Noa said.

"Hmm, I see. It seems Charles and Chloe immediately rushed back to the dormitory to contact their mother, Her Majesty the Queen. They seemed worried after Miss Karina told them that Her Majesty the Queen was targeted for assassination," I said.

"I guess so. But, Rid, we're all worried about you too. We didn't expect you to be targeted for assassination," Noa said.

"That's right, Rid. We didn't expect you to be targeted just because you're currently dating Miss Irene," Leandra said.

"Even if you say that, we're still worried," Noa said.

I looked at Irene as well, and then at them again.

Leandra and Lily looked at me in amazement. Not only Leandra and Lily, but Noa, Kotaro, Lillian, and Julie were also looking at me with awe. I felt confused by them.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked.

Noa and the others nodded.

"I see. By the way, why are you guys standing in front of the dormitory gate? Are you waiting for us, or are you waiting for someone else?" I asked.

"Ah, that's right. We were all waiting for you and Princess Irene. We were sure you'd return to the dormitory as soon as you finished chatting with Princess Irene. That's why we waited for you and Princess Irene at the dormitory gates. We were planning to take you to the shopping area to buy dinner," Noa said.

"Hmm, I see. You guys wanted to take me to the shopping area. I thank you for your invitation, but I'm sorry, I can't accept that. Irene already said she wanted to make me dinner, so tonight I'll have dinner with Irene's cooking," I said.

"I see. It's ok, Rid, you don't need to apologize. Besides, Princess Irene invited you first, so you should prioritize Princess Irene's invitation. Then, we'll be going, Rid. Princess Irene, we're going to the shopping area to buy dinner. See you, Rid, Princess Irene," Noa said.

"Yes, see you too, Noa, all of you. I apologize once again for not being able to accept your invitation," I said.

"We'll both be going, miss," Leandra said.

"Yes," Irene said.

"Please enjoy your time with Rid tonight, miss. We won't bother you," Leandra said, walking away.

Irene remained silent as Noa and the others slowly left the dormitory gates. Irene and I looked at the other Noa as they headed towards the shopping area.

"Is it ok for you to refuse their invitation, Rid?" Irene asked.

"It's ok. Besides, you were the one who asked me first, and I already agreed. How could I refuse an invitation from you that I already agreed to and accepted. So I'd rather decline their invitation," I said.

"I see," Irene said.

"Let's go to the dorm, Irene," I said.

"Yes," Irene said.

Then the two of us continued walking to my dorm. A few moments later, we arrived on the floor where my dorm was located. To get to my dorm, we had to pass Enzo, Chloe, and Charles' dorms first. As I passed Enzo's, I glanced briefly at the dorm. There were no lights inside. Then, as I passed Chloe's, I stopped between Chloe and Charles' dorms. Then, I turned to both dorms. I sensed Chloe and Charles' auras in Charles's dorm. Their auras felt close. It seemed like they were indeed contacting their mother. Irene, seeing me looking toward Chloe and Charles's dorms, asked me.

"What's wrong, Rid?" Irene asked.

"Nothing. I was just sensing Charles and Chloe's auras. It turns out they've returned to the dorm and are currently in Charles's dorms," I said.

Irene immediately turned to Charles's dorm after hearing my words. Irene then narrowed her eyes slightly as she looked towards Charles' dormitory.

"You're right, Chloe and Prince Charles' auras are in his dormitory," Irene said.

Irene also sensed Chloe and Charles' auras in his dormitory.

"You still call Charles 'prince', even though you sometimes like to chat with him. I thought you and Charles were close enough, so you no longer call him 'prince'," I said.

"I prefer calling him this," Irene said.

"Ok, whatever. It looks like Charles and Chloe are talking to their mother in Charles' dormitory, so we better not disturb them. Let's go to my dormitory," I said.

"Ok, Rid," Irene said.

Then we continued walking. We passed Irene's dormitory and then arrived in front of mine.

"Don't you want to go back to your dormitory first, Irene?" I asked.

"No need, I'll just go straight ahead so I don't have to go back and forth," Irene said.

"Ok," I said.

Then I unlocked my dormitory door and opened it. After that, the two of us entered my dormitory. We both walked into the living room.

"You go shower first, Rid. I'll start making food now," Irene said.

"Ok," I said.

Then I went straight to the bathroom. Before Irene said that, I had already intended to shower because I hadn't showered since my arrest. On my way to the courthouse after my arrest, the knights at the prison had indeed cleaned me with water, but water alone wasn't enough.

After showering, I came out of the bathroom. Then I saw Irene still cooking, although she had already finished making some of the food.

"Are you done showering, Rid?" Irene asked.

"Yes," I said.

"Sorry if I haven't finished making all the food. I'll finish this soon," Irene said.

"It's ok, Irene. You wanted to cook for me anyway, so how could I complain just because the food isn't all done yet? Don't worry, I'll wait," I said.

Irene fell silent, but she continued making her meal.

A few moments later, all the food Irene had made was ready and served on the dining table. The food she'd made looked quite substantial, even though there were only two of us eating. Irene realized she'd made quite a lot.

"I'm sorry, Rid, I think I made too much. It's just the two of us eating this," Irene said.

"It's ok, Irene. If I don't finish it, I'll save it for when I'm hungry," I said.

"If there's any leftovers, I can put them in ~storage~," I thought.

"Maybe I was too excited knowing you were free, so I made you so much food. I was so careless," Irene said.

"It's ok, Irene. You don't have to think about it all the time. Let's eat now," I said.

*Haaaaaaahhhh

I heard Irene sigh.

"Ok, Rid," Irene said.

Then we both started eating dinner.

15 minutes later.

We had finished dinner. However, there was still some food left on the dining table. Irene kept staring at it.

"I told you not to worry about it, Irene. Don't worry, I'll keep the leftovers. I won't throw them away," I said.

"Ok, Rid," Irene said.

Irene then looked at the clock on the wall.

"It's already this late, I think I should go back to my dorm now, Rid," Irene said.

"Ok, Irene. Thank you for making me dinner," I said.

"You're welcome, Rid, it's my job after all," Irene said with a smile.

I was a little surprised to see Irene smile. It was rare to see Irene smile like that, as she usually has a flat and cold expression. Irene looked confused at my slight surprise.

"What's wrong, Rid?" Irene asked.

"Nothing," I said.

"I see. By the way, are you going to do your morning training tomorrow, Rid?" Irene asked.

"Yes. I haven't had morning training in two days, and I'm worried my skills will decline," I said.

"I'm not sure your skills will decline even if you don't practice. Rather, since you have morning training tomorrow, please teach me again, Rid," Irene said.

"Ok, Irene," I said.

"Then, I'm going home now. See you tomorrow at the training ground, Rid," Irene said.

"Yeah, see you too, Irene," I said.

Then Irene headed for the dorm door. She opened the door and went out to return to her dorm. After Irene returned to her dorm, I went to my dorm door to lock it. After that, I returned to my room.

"I haven't sparred with Miss Violetta in two days. I think I'll spar with her again tomorrow and chat with her. I did see Miss Violetta earlier, and she was also looking at me, but she didn't approach me because I was surrounded by a crowd. Besides, no one knows I'm close to Miss Violetta, so it's unlikely she'd suddenly approach me as if she knew me."

"Besides that, I'm curious about Charles and Chloe. They must be very shocked to learn that their mother was targeted for assassination. Will they come to practice tomorrow morning?" I thought.

Charles and Chloe were seen sitting at the dining table in the living room of Charles' dormitory. Charles was holding a communication crystal in his hand. However, a moment later, the communication crystal slipped from his hand and fell onto the table.

"I can't believe this," Charles said.

His face looked completely shocked as he said this. Not only Charles, but Chloe, who was beside him, also had a shocked expression on her face.

"I can't believe father was also involved in the plot to kill mother," said a shocked Charles.
