After reading today's newspaper with Irene, the two of us headed straight to class. When we arrived, several students were already there. They were also reading today's newspaper and discussing it with each other. When I entered the classroom, the students immediately turned to me. Then, as I sat down, some of them approached me.

"Rid, I never thought you would experience something like this."

"That's right, being targeted by the Duke of San Minerva and the Duke of San Angela for assassination is truly terrifying," the students said.

"Your actions in the photo in this newspaper were amazing, Rid. You helped defeat the demons attacking the courthouse, and you even fought Lord Duke of San Angela, who had transformed into a demon," Julie said.

"That's right. When I saw you in action with Commander Asier and Commander Oliver, I somehow felt like I was seeing the three commanders of the royal army," Noa said.

"You are too much, Noa. I'm not on the same level as the commanders of the royal army yet; I'm still just a student," I said.

"I just felt it, Rid," Noa said.

Then Noa and the others continued to talk about me being featured in the newspaper. Meanwhile, I kept looking at them.

"I'm relieved to see they're no longer worried about me even though they've read the newspaper," I thought.

"More than that, I'm worried about Charles and Chloe," Noa said.

"Yes, I didn't expect King Albert, Charles and Chloe's father, to be involved in the plot to assassinate their mother," Julie said.

"Maybe that's why Charles and Chloe didn't show up for practice this morning. They both knew about it beforehand," Kotaro said.

"I guess so. Do you think Charles and Chloe will come to class or not? What do you think, Rid?" Julie asked.

"I don't know. Even if they don't show up, it's natural. It seems they're still trying to calm down after learning about their father's involvement in the plot to assassinate their mother," I said.

While we were discussing Charles and Chloe, Charles and Chloe suddenly arrived. We were surprised to see Charles and Chloe, as were the other students.

"Charles, Chloe, you're finally here," Noa said, immediately approaching Charles and Chloe.

We also immediately approached Charles and Chloe.

I looked at Charles and Chloe and then noticed their faces. They both looked tired. It seemed like they hadn't slept last night. Maybe because they were still thinking about their father.

"Excuse me, everyone. Chloe and I are going to go back to our seats. It seems impolite to continue standing here for fear of blocking the way for other students trying to get to class," Charles said.

"Ah, you're right. Then please go ahead, Charles, Chloe," said Noa.

"Yes," said Charles.

Meanwhile, Chloe had been silent the entire time. She hadn't said a word.

Then Charles and Chloe sat down in their respective seats. We immediately approached Charles and Chloe, who were already seated. But just as we were about to speak to Charles and Chloe, Mr. Alan suddenly entered the classroom.

"Good morning, everyone," said Mr. Alan.

"Good morning, sir," we all said.

"Please take your seats, as today's lesson is about to begin," said Mr. Alan.

Upon hearing that, we all immediately sat down in our seats. We weren't able to talk to Charles and Chloe because Mr. Alan had arrived.

"It looks like you're back for this lesson, Rid," said Mr. Alan.

"Yes, sir. I'm sorry I skipped your class yesterday," I said.

"It's ok, after all, you skipped class yesterday because you were in trouble. But thank goodness that's over for now," said Mr. Alan.

"Yes, sir," I said.

"Alright, then let's get started with today's lesson. Before that, I know you're still excited and shocked by today's newspaper. That newspaper shocked not only the entire academy but the entire kingdom of San Fulgen. However, I ask that you refrain from discussing the newspaper during class. I want you to focus on this lesson and refrain from discussing anything outside of it. Do you understand?" asked Mr. Alan.

"Understood, sir," we all said.

"Good. Then, let's begin the lesson," said Mr. Alan.

Charles and Chloe were seen rushing out of the classroom. Noa immediately chased after them.

"Wait, Charles, Chloe, where are you going? Don't you want to have lunch together?" asked Noa after catching up to Charles and Chloe.

"Sorry, Noa, we're not having lunch together this time," Charles said.

Then Charles and Chloe continued on their way to somewhere.

Noa intended to chase after them again, but I, who had been following Noa while chasing Charles and Chloe, immediately held her back with my hand.

"Stop, Noa, no need to chase them anymore. Just leave them alone. It looks like they both need to calm down," I said.

"Ok, Rid, I think I pushed too hard," Noa said.

"Let's leave them alone for now. We'd better go to the cafeteria for lunch now," I said.

"Yes," Noa said.

Then Noa and I returned to the classroom first to invite the others. After that, we all went to the cafeteria for lunch.

After lunch, we planned to have our daily match for today, so we decided to return to the second-year building.

"What do you need, Elaina? You even waited in front of the second-year building," I said.

"The reason I came to see you was actually because I wanted to talk about today's newspaper, Senior Rid. But right now, that's not important. I came to see you because I wanted to deliver a message from Miss Karina. Earlier, she approached me and my other friends, who happened to be fellow Elevrad members. Then she told us to inform the other Elevrad members to gather in the Elevrad room after lunch. So, I decided to go inform the second-year Elevrad members, while my friends went to inform the third- and fourth-year Elevrad members," Elaina said.

"I see, so you came to see me to deliver a message from Miss Karina. Even though I'm currently the vice-chairman of Elevrad, Miss Karina didn't deliver the message to me directly," I said.

"Perhaps Miss Karina originally wanted to meet you to deliver the message. But since she happened to run into me and my friends in person, and to save time looking for you first, she told us to deliver the message," Elaina said.

"I guess so," I said.

"The reason I decided to go inform the second-year Elevrad members is because the second-year members are always together. Then Noa and the others left for the second-year building.

"Let's go, Irene," I said.

"Yes," said Irene.

Meanwhile, Irene, Elaina, and I headed to the Elevrad room in the center building.

When we entered the room, we saw that many other Elevrad members had already arrived. Miss Karina had also arrived and was now sitting in the chair previously used by senior Florian as the Elevrad chairman.

"Why are you two alone, Rid, Irene? Where are Charles and Chloe?" Miss Karina asked.

"I'm sorry, miss. Charles and Chloe can't join the gathering because they both need to calm down first. Surely you know why if you have reading today's newspaper," I said.

"I see. Well, I understand why they need to calm down. Okay, I won't mind if they're absent. Then, please sit down," Miss Karina said.

Then we sat down in the remaining empty chairs. After all the Elevrad members were seated, Miss Karina continued speaking.

"The reason I called you all together in this room is because I have something to say. As you know, the current chairman of Elevrad, Florian, has been arrested for plotting Rid's assassination in Hevea Forest. The reason they killed Rid was because he was the key to carrying out their plan to assassinate Her Majesty the Queen and the entire San Lucia family."

"However, I called you all together not to discuss the assassination plot, but to discuss the position of chairman of Elevrad, which is vacant due to Florian's arrest. The absence of a chairman of Elevrad currently leaves no leader to manage and organize Elevrad's events at this academy.
