Peerless Medical Emperor

Chapter 202: Summoning Chen Yuan

Chen Qingdi had used his peerless medical skills to cure Miss Luo’s illness, and from Sun the Hunchback, he learned that the ones who had framed his parents all those years ago were the Evil God Sect. As it happened, the Evil God Sect had a branch in this very city called the White Tiger Gang. The current leader of the White Tiger Gang was a man named Ma Dahua, a local tyrant.

Luo Tianfeng felt that Chen Qingdi was all alone and wanted to help him wipe out the White Tiger Gang, but Chen Qingdi was unwilling to rely on others for his own battles, so he politely declined.

"Patriarch Luo, your family has deep roots and a business to run. You shouldn’t get involved in these muddy waters. This is between me and the White Tiger Gang, so let me handle it myself!"

They all knew what Chen Qingdi was capable of and felt that the insignificant White Tiger Gang would be no match for him, so they didn’t insist.

However, to repay his immense kindness, Patriarch Luo still gave him a generous reward.

Elder Wu also lent him his treasured copy of the *Hundred Fist Manual* to make a transcription.

Little did he know that Chen Qingdi had a photographic memory. He could read any book just once and commit it to memory, never to forget it.

He simply spent a little over three hours flipping through it on the spot, reading it back and forth once more to connect the dots, and had already committed it to memory. Then, he respectfully returned the Fist Manual.

Divine Physician Situ felt that since the other man had saved his son, he had no way to repay the debt. After much thought, he gave Chen Qingdi a secret medical manual passed down through his family, the *Yama Tribulation*.

This ancient text was said to have been passed down from a famous physician of antiquity. It contained many medical techniques and prescriptions that were beyond the comprehension of ordinary people. Even Divine Physician Situ himself could only grasp thirty or forty percent of its contents.

Chen Qingdi opened it and saw that the unique medical techniques recorded within were simply incredible—truly a treasure of the medical world.

However, it mostly contained theoretical knowledge and only provided a high-level overview of medical practices. To turn it into tangible medical skill would require long and arduous study.

Chen Qingdi told Divine Physician Situ, "Our Yishen Island is in need of precisely this kind of challenging text. Once I’ve studied it thoroughly, I will certainly give back to the Situ Family. I absolutely will not allow this medical text to be lost to time."

Divine Physician Situ was quite philosophical about it. "I’m already old," he said to Chen Qingdi. "Whether I study it or not, I won’t make much more progress. But if you, Young Master Chen, can master it, please pass it on to my son."

Chen Qingdi solemnly agreed to his request.

And so, the group truly parted ways.

As he was leaving, Miss Luo came to see him off. She subtly tried to find out if he was married. Chen Qingdi knew she had developed feelings for him, so he told her directly that he already had a fiancée.

Miss Luo was crestfallen, but there was nothing to be done. She could only part with him, albeit reluctantly.

Chen Qingdi quietly moved to a secluded hotel. There, he called his subordinate, Chen Yuan.

Chen Yuan arrived very quickly. "Emperor’s Physician, what are your orders?"

Chen Qingdi told him about the White Tiger Gang, and Chen Yuan flew into a thunderous rage.

"No wonder your family died so tragically! So it was these bastards’ doing! Just give the order. What’s the plan? Should I issue the Medical God Order and summon all the masters in the world to annihilate them?"

In his opinion, the Evil God Sect was such a massive organization that the two of them alone couldn’t possibly take on a branch. It would be best to summon all of the Dragon Country’s Ten Great War Gods. Even if all ten couldn’t make it, the Jia Mu War God, Long Xiaotian, absolutely had to come! Of course, it would be even better if the Yimu Battle God, Hua Feixue, came along too.

Chen Qingdi shook his head. "Those two are guarding the eastern border of the Dragon Country. Their duty is far too important. How could we ask them to come here and be distracted? I don’t think we need anyone else. The two of us will be enough!"

Chen Yuan felt uneasy, but since Lord Medical God had spoken, he couldn’t object. He asked in a low voice, "When do we move?"

Chen Qingdi let out a cold laugh. "With your current skills, going to the White Tiger Gang now would just be suicide!"

Chen Yuan scratched his head. "Didn’t you call me over because you wanted to destroy the White Tiger Gang?"

Chen Qingdi shook his head. "Actually, I want you to find me a quiet place. Then, we will both sit down and cultivate. When our cultivation is complete, we will go and slaughter the White Tiger Gang!"

Chen Yuan gave a bitter smile. "Are you asking me to sharpen my spear just before the battle?"

Chen Qingdi closed his eyes and began to cultivate, saying no more. Left with no choice, Chen Yuan went out to mobilize his resources. He returned a short while later.

Just as Chen Qingdi completed one full cycle of his cultivation, he opened his eyes. "Found a place?"

Chen Yuan replied in a low voice, "I’ve found it. The estate is very large and far from the bustling city center. It’s perfect for cultivation."

Chen Qingdi casually gathered his belongings and followed him into a Ferrari.

"How much did it cost? I’ll pay you back."

Chen Yuan smiled mysteriously. "Honestly, it went very smoothly. I didn’t spend a single penny. In fact, the other party paid *me* two hundred thousand as a sign of respect!"

Just as Chen Qingdi was about to ask more, Chen Yuan made an excuse about traffic and said he would explain when they arrived.

The car soon reached the suburbs, where they suddenly came upon several checkpoints inspecting the passing vehicles.

What surprised them both was how tyrannical the checkpoint was. Regardless of whether you were an official or a commoner, everyone had to pay a hefty toll. However, they noticed some bald men who weren’t driving luxury cars were allowed through without paying a cent; in fact, the guards respectfully ushered them in.

Chen Qingdi was taken aback for a moment and asked with great curiosity, "What era are we in? Are these guys some kind of vigilantes?"

Chen Yuan took out two peach-shaped badges. He told Chen Qingdi to pin one on, while he did the same.

Chen Qingdi curiously picked up the badge and examined it. It depicted a white tiger standing atop a massive black rock, roaring with its mouth wide open. The image was incredibly imposing.

"The reason they’re polite to certain vehicles is that those people are from the White Tiger Gang! As for everyone else they’re rude to... we’re all just fat sheep to be fleeced in their eyes!"

As expected, their car was stopped. Before the guard could get aggressive, Chen Yuan rolled down the window and flashed the peach-shaped silver badge.

"Resident, welcome home."

The man inspecting the vehicles gave them a salute and handed the badge back.

Chen Yuan stepped on the gas, and they advanced unimpeded until they reached a villa complex.

Though the complex looked slightly dated, the decorations were quite lavish, a clear sign that it had sold for a hefty price back in the day.

Even as a pre-owned property, its high-end quality was still apparent.

After entering the community, Chen Qingdi discovered that their destination was a detached, single-family villa.

The car drove directly into the underground garage, where an elevator was waiting nearby.

As soon as they arrived, they were surrounded by a group of bruised and swollen thugs.
