Peerless Perverted Actor Has a Celebrity Harem?!

Chapter 114: Between the King & Queen: The Chancellor

Of all the women Park had encountered since waking up in this ridiculous second life, the Royal Chancellor was still somehow the hottest woman he had ever seen.

And Park was willing to defend that opinion before a court.

Beauty alone was another argument entirely:

Evangeline was more beautiful than her mother and he wasn’t blind enough to lie about that just because the woman currently hijacking his nineteen-year-old brain happened to be sitting twenty feet away.

His white-haired sister was basically a beauty demon who had wandered out of a cultivation novel and forgotten to bring mercy with her:

’Give Evangeline some flowing robes, a sword and a snowy mountain to stand on, and every arrogant young master within five kingdoms would begin "courting death" before the Chapter ended.’

Kalypso probably edged the Chancellor out too in beauty alone, especially with that playful beauty of hers and the smile that always looked one bad decision away from becoming somebody else’s problem.

’She has more fox spirit in her than demon, the dangerous type who would convince a righteous cultivator that dual cultivation is completely necessary for his health’.1

So, fine. In pure beauty, the Chancellor was probably number three.

Park’s private fantasy rankings followed a more sophisticated system.

First place. Gold medal. National holiday.

’Competition cancelled due to lack of serious challengers.’

Park wasn’t ranking paintings; he possessed working hormones and had eyes.

The old Park had known this woman for sixteen years, ever since he was brought into the Bennett estate at three years old. He had seen her at breakfast, watched her cross these halls in gowns and business suits, sat across from her at dinners, and seen her on television beside the Emperor, the Dowager, foreign royals, ministers and enough terrifying old politicians to populate several nightmares.

Reality should not have had anything new left to show him.

’Apparently memories have terrible eyesight.’

Park had made it three steps into the family gathering room before he had slowing to an embarrassing stop:

The Chancellor sat comfortably near the centre of the room with one leg crossed over the other, talking to Aveline while Emmie occupied another couch and Evangeline lazily scrolled through something on her phone. Alexander stood near the long windows with a glass in one hand, his back partly turned toward the entrance:

The dark Crown District night stretched beyond him, estate lights scattered across the gardens and glowing faintly against the glass.

Park noticed all of that and forgot most of it because his stepmother existed.

She was dressed much more casually than the Royal Chancellor people saw on the news, and whoever had invented casual clothing deserved an award. Her dark hair fell freely over one shoulder, soft and thick, framing a face that still carried enough authority to explain why ministers twice her age watched their wording around her.

Park had a theory.

’A mature succubus has escaped the demon world, earned several law degrees, conquered imperial politics and somehow convinced the public she is a respectable government official.’

That was the Chancellor.

There was no other reasonable explanation.

Her dress fitted close without looking like she had tried at all, which somehow made the whole thing worse.

Especially the chest.

’Jesus... wait, they do have Jesus here, right?’

Park’s eyes locked on before his brain could stage an intervention.

Any cheap cultivation novel would have slapped the label "peerless jade beauty" on her and called it a day.

’Cowards.’

Jade didn’t come with tits like that.

The Chancellor did.

Firm. Full. Ridiculously round and heavy enough that Park’s first genuinely intelligent question of the evening was how the hell she kept her back straight all day: Did political power strengthen spinal muscles? Did the Privy Council run a secret physiotherapy department? Was there some classified Royal Chancellor-only bra technology the rest of civilization would never be allowed to see?

His gaze dropped lower to the narrow waist, then the soft flare of her hips and the way the dress clung to her thighs before ending far too high and leaving those long legs completely exposed.

Park stopped pretending he was winning this fight.

’And my father cheated on that?’

He glanced at Alexander’s back.

’What a fucking idiot.’

Forget the affair itself. Someone needed to investigate the Prime Minister’s decision-making process. The man ran an entire Empire, looked at the woman currently short-circuiting Park’s nervous system, and somehow decided, "You know what this marriage needs? Another woman."

’Well, I wouldn’t have been born to witness this beauty if not for his stupid, would I? Neither would I wouldve gotten a chance to cuck him either,’

Alexander was like a side character who found a divine treasure, threw it away because he wanted something ordinary, and then spent nine hundred Chapters crying about it.

’Or a villain actively asking to be cucked.’

Unbelievable.

Thankfully Park wasn’t the type who needed immediate private medical attention every time a beautiful woman entered the same room.

That level of degeneracy belonged to Damon, the shameless bastard MC from MILF Desire System: The Degenerate Son’s Forbidden Path. Damon would have already invented an emergency and sprinted upstairs to beat his meat before anyone asked why he was walking funny and crafted a plan to conquer her.

Park used to love that book... gods he missed it.

He almost smiled at the memory before he realized the Chancellor was looking straight at him.

Fuck.

His eyes shot to the painting behind her like it had just become the most important artwork in the Empire.

’Beautiful painting... wonderful painting.’

He had definitely been studying it the entire time; the artistic treatment of whatever the hell was happening inside it deserved serious appreciation.

When he carefully looked back, she was still watching him.

’And smiling.’

...a small, private, amused smile and curiosity sat in it too, sharp enough to make Park’s stomach dip.

She had seen everything.

Worse, she looked completely unbothered.

’Okay; that makes no sense.’

The old Park had never stared at her like that. His memories were painfully clear. He had always been careful around the Chancellor, respectful to the point of stiffness, forever aware that he was Alexander’s affair child living under the same roof as the woman whose marriage his existence had helped damage.

Yet she stayed perfectly relaxed, watching him panic under her gaze.

If anything, catching him had only made her more entertained.

Very suspicious behaviour.

The succubus theory just gained its first piece of evidence.

Park finally forced his legs to move and only when he had properly entered the room did she speak.

"Am I mistaken," the Chancellor said, looking him over with open curiosity, "or did I somehow spend an entire year away from home not just a few days? How did you change this much?"

Emmie looked over first. Aveline stopped what she was doing and Evangeline lowered her phone just enough to peer at him over the top of it.

Park briefly wondered which exact part of him she was talking about.
