Peerless Perverted Actor Has a Celebrity Harem?!
Chapter 125: Horny EmployerPark glanced around the conference room.
Evelyn.
Sloane.
Tessa.
He considered this grave accusation carefully: "I selected excellence."
Sloane snorted a laugh while Tessa covered a smile.
Evelyn remained unimpressed. "Naturally."
"It is entirely beyond my control that excellence has been presenting itself with excellent bone structure."
"There it is," Sloane murmured.
Park pointed toward her. "You see? Already understands me. Excellent hire."
"You’ve known me forty minutes."
"And look how well it’s going."
The third day was when everything started becoming real enough to require calendars.
Sloane began building Park’s professional schedule and immediately complained that his current arrangements looked less like a career and more like several unrelated people throwing appointments at the same handsome boy.
Park chose to hear only the handsome part.
Tessa started establishing the financial side, separating personal spending from career spending and preparing the accounts Nathaniel Park Entertainment would eventually use once AVC Corporate completed formation. Evelyn’s team began the company paperwork, stage-name protection and IP searches while Entertainment and Media tore NX’s original draft apart properly.
Park spent hours moving between rooms: Read this, approve that. Do you want Sloane authorized to receive offers directly?
Yes.
Can Tessa receive accounting statements?
Yes.
Can AVC communicate with both of them concerning matters necessary to their work?
Yes, but only within their roles.
Who may approve payments from the future company?
Park, with sensible operational limits later.
Who owns Nathaniel Park Entertainment?
Park.
Who gets final approval over his career?
Park.
That answer kept appearing everywhere.
He liked it more each time.
The two NX agreements took shape during the afternoon.
One governed acting representation, the other governed music and recording.
They were tied together where they needed to cooperate but separated enough that one couldn’t quietly swallow the other.
Evelyn’s acting draft reduced the agency’s opening commission demand, protected Park’s right to reject projects, limited exclusivity, established sensible publicity obligations, protected his independent team, strengthened accounting and audit rights, created inactivity remedies and tightened how NX could use his face, name and voice.
The music agreement was considerably bloodier.
Sloane added schedule protections from the career side. Tessa attacked vague accounting language with the personal hostility of someone who had apparently been bullied by arithmetic as a child and returned years later for revenge.
Park mostly watched, asked questions, learned, occasionally said no and frequently asked why.
And several times found himself strangely enjoying the fact that none of these people cared whether his decision pleased someone else.
They only cared whether it protected Nathaniel Park.
By the end of the third day, Evelyn placed the completed drafts in front of him.
"Read them tonight."
"I’ve read versions of them all day."
"Read them again."
Park sighed.
Sloane picked up her bag. "She’s right."
Tessa nodded... Park looked around the table.
Three women.
All agreeing against him already where it mattered.
’Wonderful.’
His independent professional empire had become a female-led dictatorship within forty-eight hours.
"I’m beginning to understand why kings historically feared councils."
"You’re not a king," Evelyn said.
"Yet."
That earned him three different expressions of disbelief.
’Progress.’
On the fourth morning, Nathaniel Park returned to NX Arc Entertainment with considerably more luggage than he’d left with.
Not physical luggage.
People.
Mick was gone from his routine now, happily reassigned within NX to another young actor whose career apparently needed a runner and whose life didn’t require elaborate secret handoffs. Park arrived through the main entrance with Sloane on one side, Tessa slightly behind and Evelyn walking beside him carrying one slim leather folder that somehow looked more dangerous than the enormous contract envelope Park had brought to her four days earlier.
Employees noticed.
Of course they noticed Park first... they noticed the women around him.
That produced a second round of looks.
Many of them seemed to be familiar with Evelyn.
Park caught one male employee staring at the little group, then at Park again, with an expression that very clearly asked what sort of fucking rookie arrived at his unsigned contract meeting with his own manager, accountant and partner from Ashbourne, Vale & Crowe.
Park almost smiled.
’A very prepared rookie.’
Noah met them upstairs.
His expression when Park introduced everyone was worth coming early for.
"This is Sloane Mercer, my personal manager."
Sloane shook his hand.
"Tessa Lin, business manager and accountant."
Another handshake.
"And Evelyn Harcourt, my lawyer."
Noah stared at Evelyn for approximately half a second longer than the others.
"Ms. Harcourt."
"Mr. Noah."
Park looked between them: "Do lawyers come with boss music in this building?"
"No," Noah said.
Evelyn answered at the same time. "Yes."
Park liked her answer better.
They were shown into the same large conference room where NX Business Affairs, Artist Management, A&R and the screen division representatives were already waiting. The mood remained friendly, but Park could feel the small recalibration around the table when everyone realized he hadn’t returned alone.
That was the point.
He introduced Sloane and Tessa properly, NX would assign its Artist Representative exactly as discussed, but Sloane would manage Nathaniel Park’s career from his side. Tessa would receive and review the appropriate financial statements. Evelyn and AVC handled legal matters.
Nobody objected but there were questions.
Plenty.
But most of them practical.
Then the NX lawyer smiled toward Evelyn and opened the original agreement.
"I assume you’ve reviewed our draft."
Evelyn placed her leather folder on the table: "We have." she opened it and removed two contracts.
The room went slightly quieter.
The NX lawyer looked at the first and the second.
"What are these?"
"Our proposed acting representation agreement," Evelyn said, sliding one across the table, "and our proposed music and recording agreement."
The lawyer looked up: "You’ve separated them?"
"Correct."
"Our original agreement was designed as an integrated talent arrangement."
"And Nathaniel intends to have an integrated career. He does not intend to have indistinguishable rights structures."
Park had no idea why lawyer arguments sounded so polite when everyone was clearly loading ammunition beneath the table.
The A&R executive opened the music agreement first; her eyes reached the master ownership provision.
Stopped.
Then moved back to Park.
"Forty percent?"
Park smiled pleasantly: "Good morning."
Sloane’s mouth twitched beside him.
Across the table, another executive had reached the writer’s-share provisions.
Someone else found the AI language.
The NX lawyer was already reading the termination section. Noah leaned back in his chair and looked toward Park with an expression somewhere between impressed and personally entertained.
Four days ago, Park had been sitting in an NX cafeteria wondering whether the agency was going to remember he existed.
Now he had his own lawyer, his own manager, his own accountant, a company being built underneath his professional name and two contracts sitting on NX Arc’s table instead of one.
Park settled comfortably into his chair.
’Maybe being an adult isn’t completely terrible.’
It was mostly paperwork, apparently, but every now and then you got to watch a room full of executives discover that their rookie had returned with reinforcements.
