Perfect Villain Life: Universal Job Change
Chapter 210: This Isn’t Fair—Rematch! Rematch!Qin Xian looked at his equipment panel, a smirk playing on his lips.
Name: Qin Xian
Class: SSS-Class Oracle Knight
Class Traits: Deification Progress 60% (Class quest incomplete, Demigod system not yet activated)
His gear was nothing short of legendary, a fully unrestricted purple-tier set, meaning it had no level requirement, and its attributes scaled with his level.
His weapon, Thunder Arbiter, granted 250 attack power, 250 strength, and a 30% critical rate, with a special effect that had a 10% chance to release a bolt of lightning, dealing extra electric damage.
His armor set, Celestial Glory, provided high defense, strength, and various buffs, including health regeneration, damage reflection, and speed boosts. His accessories, Stellar Tear, Soul Reaper, and Light of Eclipse, further enhanced his combat prowess.
Originally, this Celestial Glory set was meant for level 45 users. When Qin Xian first acquired it at level 20, it had been overwhelmingly powerful, but now at level 42, its strength was beginning to fall behind.
Of course, as a descendant of the Qin family, he could easily obtain a new set of top-tier gear, but no crafted artifact could compare to the rewards granted by the Divine and Demonic Trials.
Since his ancestors had already manipulated the system to ensure his victories, would it really be too much to ask for them to adjust the rewards and grant him a gold-tier legendary set?
As he was considering this, a portal materialized before him. From within, an overwhelming divine presence radiated outward, suffused with immeasurable might, demanding reverence.
This was the gateway to the third phase, the Divine Trial. Qin Xian had successfully cleared the Divine and Demonic Battlefield. Without hesitation, he stepped forward and entered the portal.
The moment he emerged, he found himself standing within a breathtaking temple, one so grand and awe-inspiring that it seemed to exist beyond mortal comprehension.
The towering structure shimmered beneath the sunlight, casting divine radiance across the vast halls.
The ceiling was adorned with intricate murals of celestial battles, while massive stained-glass windows refracted brilliant beams of light, creating an ethereal display of color.
Throughout the temple, enormous doorways led to different trials, each guarded by statues that had withstood the test of time, their solemn expressions exuding power and authority.
Any mortal who entered this sacred space would be overwhelmed with humility, crushed beneath the sheer presence of divine will. But Qin Xian felt nothing. He was of the Void. And the Void devoured gods.
The third phase was a test against the will of celestial deities, where challengers could receive blessings, class advancements, or powerful artifacts, depending on whether the gods deemed them worthy.
Before him, the sky split apart, divine light cascading downward in brilliant waves. The stars realigned, forming an ancient celestial diagram that radiated immense power.
From within the radiant glow, a majestic figure descended, wrapped in golden light. The sheer pressure of his presence weighed upon the entire temple. Even Qin Xian, for the first time in his life, felt the unmistakable authority of true divinity pressing down on him.
Yet beneath this overwhelming presence, there was something familiar. A connection that ran deep in his very bloodline. As the light dimmed, the figure fully emerged.
Cloaked in divine brilliance, his face bore a striking resemblance to Qin Xian—an older, more seasoned version of himself, his features both stern and kind. His expression was filled with warmth and approval.
“You are Qin Xian, the descendant of the Qin bloodline,” the divine figure spoke, his voice deep and resonant, echoing through the temple.
The apparition introduced itself. “I am Qin Long. By lineage, you should address me as Third Ancestor.”
Qin Xian’s heart stirred slightly. Within the Empire, this name was legendary. Qin Long had been one of the Twelve Celestial Deities of the Heaven’s Will Pantheon, a former pillar of the empire, a level 105 warrior who had single-handedly annihilated over twenty Void Lords.
His statue still stood in the heart of the Imperial Capital, a symbol of strength and honor.
“Third Ancestor,” Qin Xian said, lowering his head slightly, not out of reverence, but as a gesture of respect for their shared lineage.
Though he was the Void Empress’ son, he also carried the Qin family’s blood. And in front of his ancestor, he would show proper courtesy.
Qin Long nodded in approval. “You have passed my trial.” His divine voice carried a weight that resonated through the chamber. “Qin Xian, what reward do you desire?”
A faint smile formed on his lips. “No matter what you wish for, I can manipulate the Celestial System’s authority to grant it to you.”
If anyone else had heard those words, they would have gone mad with jealousy. This wasn’t fair at all. A literal god was offering to cheat for him.
Somewhere in the universe, countless outraged challengers screamed in protest.
“This isn’t fair! Rematch! Rematch!”
