The Origin Domain—a realm born directly from Hydra’s World Origin—was not just a sanctuary, but a holy site linked to the planet’s very essence.

Though the Ancient Ones were credited with creating Hydra’s sentient races, they themselves had only used the World Origin as a tool. The World Origin wasn’t created by them—it had existed since the birth of the universe. Like the primordial laws that shaped reality, World Origins were eternal and inexplicable.

And Hydra possessed multiple such sanctums formed from pieces of its World Origin.

Only a handful of forces had access to such sacred places. The Windsor Family was one of them.

When Qin Xian stepped into the Origin Domain, he was greeted by a surreal vista—a starry void, as if he were drifting in deep space. Instantly, his Void Lord instincts flared. He could feel a maddeningly powerful aura in the air:

The scent of the World Origin.

At the heart of this stellar realm floated a radiant gem-like star, glowing with blinding brilliance. Threads of primordial law flowed toward it like cosmic rivers. Even just a whiff of this essence made Qin Xian’s entire being shudder with hunger.

As a Void Overlord, attuned to devouring Origins, he instantly knew—Hydra’s World Origin was unique. It wasn’t just powerful—it was on par with, or even superior to, the resources he’d consumed back in the First Court of the Void.

For a terrifying moment, he nearly lost control, his body tempted to reveal its Void Lord form and devour the gem whole.

But he restrained himself.

This gem, while mighty, was only a fragment of Hydra’s true World Origin. Consuming it now would blow his cover… and bring the entire world down upon him too early.

Instead, he composed himself, eyes narrowing with intrigue.

No wonder the Blood Legion failed so miserably here.

The resistance they’d faced wasn’t just military—it was metaphysical. The power of Hydra’s Origin was far beyond what anyone expected. Even among the countless worlds he knew of, this one… ranked near the top.

And if Rosha, the Hero, could tap into that power, his ability to slay multiple Void Generals made perfect sense.

“This is our family’s sacred ground—the foundation of our legacy,” Lia said excitedly beside him, unaware of the storm churning in Qin Xian’s heart.

He simply nodded.

Anthony, calm and proud, added: “The Origin Domain opens once every ten years, and those with our bloodline may enter to receive its blessing. Lord Rosha did so years ago. And from that moment on… Hydra itself acknowledged him.”

Elsewhere…

Far to the west of the Hope Continent, cloaked in mists, the Dragon Isles loomed above the ocean. This was the domain of the Saint-Spear Family—a land where dragons and Dragon-Blooded humans lived side by side.

Now, the Isles were filled with fury.

“Zahl is dead!!!” A roar of wrath shook the palace.

Moments ago, the soul-statue of Zahl had shattered—an ancient relic used to detect death. Alongside it, the Saint-Spear elders sensed the demise of the Frost Dragon Ice Mane.

Chaos erupted.

To the Saint-Spear Family, proud beyond measure, Zahl’s death was an unthinkable provocation. He was not only a direct heir—but a Dragon Knight, bound to a great wyrm. The loss of a soul-bonded dragon was tantamount to losing a national treasure.

A nobleman with a grim, commanding presence—Edward, one of the Five Dragon Knight Commanders and Zahl’s father—stood with clenched fists, grief and rage consuming him.

“Zahl went to the Windsor Family—to see that girl, Lia,” he growled. “No matter what excuse they offer, they’re involved. Dragon Knights! Follow me!”

A massive black dragon landed beside him, snarling as it prepared for war. All around, Dragon Knights mounted their beasts, preparing for vengeance.

“Calm yourself, Edward.” Another man entered—a silver-streaked figure of composed power: Will, current head of the Saint-Spear Family.

“Do you intend to start a war with the Windsors?” he asked coldly.

Edward’s eyes burned. “Why not? They’re declining! Only Anthony remains as their backbone. If they dared touch my son—I’ll bury them all.”

Will remained unmoved. “The Windsors wouldn’t dare. Anthony is no fool. Besides… the Void remains our greater enemy. Do you want civil war while our world teeters on the edge of extinction?”

He paused, then delivered the key words: “And don’t forget—Lord Rosha is close to the Windsors.”

That name hit like a thunderclap.

Even the mighty Saint-Spear Family held deep reverence for Rosha. The man could wield the entire power of Hydra’s World Origin. If he wanted… he could erase the Saint-Spear Family with a single thought.

Edward’s breathing slowed. Slowly, he reined in his fury.

“…Dismiss the knights.”

One by one, the Dragon Knights stood down, though their rage still simmered.

But Edward’s eyes remained like ice. “Then I’ll go alone. I want to hear their explanation—face to face.”

With that, his black dragon soared skyward, and he vanished into the clouds…
