Corviknight was extremely excited.
If they had hunted by themselves, it would not have been this easy.
He landed, stretched out his claws, and tore Scizor apart.
The metal shell was left to the Tinkatuff, while the two Corviknight swiftly ate the rest clean.
Julian moved his hands, easing the backlash caused by descending vertically from high altitude and striking Scizor with the hammer.
If one wanted to use a hammer well, physical fitness really was key.
Although ore was not very effective, Tinkatuff still needed to hammer metal more.
Only then would this body’s physical condition improve.
After fusing Scizor’s metal into the hammer, Corviknight carried them into the sky again.
"There’s a patch of Berries over there. From the look of it, it should have been Scizor’s territory."
All the ripe Berries were picked. The two Tinkatuff ate until they were nearly full, while the Corviknight only ate two to wet their beaks.
Continuing forward, they saw several metallic ants gnawing on iron ore.
The Corviknight Julian was sitting on became excited again.
"It’s Durant! They taste even better than Scizor. Sweet and sour!"
"Little Tinkatuff, you have to help me keep at least one."
This time, there were many targets. The two Tinkatuff each selected one and began descending.
This hammer technique Julian had developed, falling from the sky, was unheard of among the Pokémon on this land.
They had no defence against it at all.
Two Durant were knocked unconscious. The remaining Durant not only did not run...
They actually dared to fight back!
Corviknight dived down, sharp talons stabbing into Durant’s body.
Then he flew into the sky and threw the Durant towards a hard rock wall.
After that, he pulled it back out, stabbed his claws into its body again, and repeated the process.
The remaining Durant discovered that Tinkatuff and Corviknight were actually acting as a gang.
They immediately kicked up sand, dug holes, burrowed into the earth, and disappeared.
Durant’s metal shell was much thicker than Scizor’s.
Julian tried hammering a piece of ore in this area and found that the quality was fairly decent.
Each Tinkatuff took two Durant and fused their metal shells into their hammers.
Julian tasted a Durant leg shared by Corviknight.
After taking two bites, he returned it.
Corviknight blinked.
"One ant leg is worth ten Berries."
That was for Corviknight. Durant meat could make their feathers tougher.
This kind of food was beneficial for Corviknight, whose body was Steel type.
But for Tinkatuff, it was not much different from an Everstone.
If it was not for survival, it was best not to eat it.
Seeing that Julian did not eat, the other Tinkatuff stopped eating too.
On the way back, they were lucky enough to find an apple tree.
Perhaps because these were only ordinary fruits and did not have effects as powerful as Berries, the tree had not been destroyed.
The two Tinkatuff not only ate heartily, but also found large leaves nearby and packed two large bundles to bring back.
The stronger the colony’s Tinkatuff and Tinkatink became, the safer they would be.
If there was extra food, everyone would bring it back to share with the colony.
Because the two Corviknight did not eat the colony’s food, they could live in the Corviknight forest.
After agreeing to continue tomorrow, the Corviknight flapped their wings and returned.
Today, they had eaten Scizor and four Durant.
They had to go back and show off properly.
It was not only Corviknight.
The Tinkatuff and Tinkatink hammering metal on the mine mountain were also very surprised when they saw Julian and the other Tinkatuff bring back two large bundles of apples.
There was even a bit of admiration and desire in their eyes.
After learning that they had cooperated with Corviknight, the remaining Tinkatuff also ran to find Tinkaton, wanting to apply for a Corviknight mount.
Tinkaton smiled.
"Since you’re all this unafraid of death, I’ll have the Corviknight leader send out all the idle Corviknight."
The number of Corviknight needed to protect the forest had not reached the forest’s carrying limit.
"There should still be three. Decide among yourselves who goes."
The method Tinkatuff used to decide was very simple.
Compare whose hammer was harder and whose strength was greater.
After deciding the top three, one of the remaining Tinkatuff was dissatisfied.
She pointed at Julian.
"She only just evolved. Why does she get Corviknight support for hunting?"
Tinkaton did not explain.
"You two compare."
Julian stepped forward. The dissatisfied Tinkatuff swung her hammer with full confidence.
Clang—!
She was sent flying.
The Tinkatuff was shocked and the Tinkatink eyes were full of awe.
This newly evolved Tinkatuff had actually directly dented a veteran’s hammer.
The solitary Tinkatuff looked disdainful.
Having witnessed Julian evolve with her own eyes, she understood better than anyone how powerful he was.
That fellow only dared hide on the mine mountain and hammer metal, not hunt Steel-type Pokémon.
Of the apples they had brought back just now, she had eaten the most.
Five Tinkatuff and five Corviknight moved together.
Everyone’s courage grew.
They definitely still did not dare provoke a monster like Archaludon, but everyone had the courage to provoke Aggron.
A lot of it, in fact!
This time, their target was locked onto an Aggron in the eastern district.
Aggron liked planting trees, so it had planted many Berries and fruits in its territory.
Along with iron ore, Aggron lived a very comfortable life.
Until today, when its good days came to an end.
Five Tinkatuff fell one after another, hammering Aggron until its head spun.
Even after receiving this level of attack, Aggron still did not fall.
Instead, it lashed out with its tail and sent one charging Corviknight flying.
Julian looked at the others.
"Use the old method!"
Just now, his attack had left a dent in Aggron’s head.
Now they just had to aim at that spot and attack it continuously.
Aggron was actually already at the end of its strength.
The Corviknight it had knocked away did not suffer much injury.
Tinkatuff and Corviknight took turns rushing in to attack.
Aggron was quickly overwhelmed.
After being hit in the head by Julian, then taking a follow-up blow from another Tinkatuff, it finally could not hold on and fainted.
Next, naturally, came the much-loved forging session.
After forging ended, everyone picked a large number of Berries and split them to eat.
One Tinkatuff let out a poorly timed sigh.
"This Aggron’s territory is great. Once we evolve, why don’t we just move here?"
Julian swallowed the Berry in his hand and handed everyone large leaves.
"We’ve eaten enough. Today’s hunt ends here. Pack up the Berries."
"We return now."
The Tinkatuff who had made the suggestion did not understand why he reacted so strongly to her words.
Yesterday, Julian had actually taken a liking to the ore in the Durant area too.
But he had not said anything random.
Today, this Tinkatuff was young and reckless. She did not understand the terror of casually raising a flag.
Although confused, everyone had vaguely begun treating Julian as the commander of this hunting team.
Since he said this, everyone naturally began packing things up.
Until Corviknight took off, everything went smoothly, making Julian breathe a sigh of relief.
Suddenly, the earth began to tremble.
A silver-white giant dragon burrowed out from the ground.
Seeing Corviknight flying in the sky, it fired a dazzling Electro Shot.
Corviknight’s target was too large and was directly hit.
The Corviknight that had been struck was precisely carrying the Tinkatuff who had spoken carelessly.
Julian shouted, "Climb higher!"
Fortunately, Archaludon did not continue firing Electro Shot.
It only began eating the Corviknight that had fallen.
As for that Tinkatuff, along with her hammer, she became the first snack to enter its mouth.
