Eva was beyond shocked after seeing Eric’s completely transformed appearance.
What in the Runes did Ash use as a catalyst for his Evolution for him to change this much?
The surprise Eva was feeling couldn’t be put into words. It was like having a completely white brother go to sleep one night, only to wake up the next morning and find him completely black.
It was that kind of shock.
A/N: Not being racist, just an example, okay?
Curiosity immediately got the better of her as she quickly went through Ash’s memories to see what he had used as the catalyst for Eric’s Evolution, but the moment she discovered the answer...
She fell completely silent.
...He is as crazy as ever... but I would expect nothing less from him...
Without wasting another moment, she immediately brought up Eric’s information panel, wanting to see exactly what in the Runes he had evolved into.

Race:Royal Unicorn(Extinct)
Description
The Royal Unicorn was an extinct sovereign species that once stood at the absolute summit of the unicorn lineage. They were loved by the Creation and were known as its First Born. Every Royal Unicorn was born with an innate Royal Core, an organ intertwined with their body, soul, and Origin. The Royal Core granted them a unique gift known as Perfect Adaptability.
Unlike ordinary adaptation, Perfect Adaptability possessed no known limit. Every wound survived, every hardship endured, every Natural Law experienced, and every force resisted became part of their existence. Poison became immunity. Curses became resistance. Authority became familiarity. Even the Laws of Reality gradually lost their ability to restrain them.
Yet Perfect Adaptability demanded one condition above all else.
Time.
It could not create miracles overnight. It could only transform survival into evolution. The longer a Royal Unicorn lived, the closer it approached an existence without weakness.
It was this limitless potential that terrified all creation.
Given enough time, every Royal Unicorn would inevitably become an existence beyond the comprehension of gods, sovereigns, and cosmic rulers alike.
There was only a single conclusion reached independently by the countless supreme civilizations that overlooked the Infinite Dimensions.
If allowed to mature... a Royal Unicorn would eventually become an existence beyond all restraint.
That possibility alone was unacceptable.
Thus, every Royal Unicorn was hunted relentlessly from the moment of their birth. Entire bloodlines were wiped out while they were still young, before Perfect Adaptability had enough time to fully manifest.
The war lasted for countless ages, claiming innumerable civilizations and shattering entire dimensions. At the end, victory belonged not to strength, but to numbers, preparation, and absolute desperation showed by the unity of countless races.
When the final Royal Unicorn fell, the alliance did not stop.
Fearing that even a single surviving bloodline could one day restore the race, they erased every trace of its existence. Their bodies were reduced to nothingness, their souls annihilated, their bloodlines shattered, their names removed from history, and every record concerning them was destroyed.
They became the only known race to suffer Absolute Extinction, not within a single universe, but across the endless expanse of Infinite Dimensions.

Silence.
Eva had absolutely no idea what she was supposed to say.
Eric was still floating in the same position with his eyes closed, yet the description she had just finished reading was enough to give her a massive headache.
Damn it... remind me to never use Ash’s body...that absolutely damned anomaly to evolve anyone ever again, otherwise I’ll keep ending up with ridiculous Evolution results like this...!
She let out a helpless sigh as she rubbed her forehead, finding herself at a complete loss over how much trouble this single Evolution was destined to bring them in the future.
Eric no longer had to be wary of only the people within this Dimension.
From this moment onward, even the countless beings scattered throughout the Infinite Dimensions could become his enemies should his existence ever be exposed.
I don’t know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing, but...
Eva slowly lifted her head and looked at Eric with a complicated expression as she completed her thought.
...I just hope you won’t have to walk such a thorny path, brother. All I ever wanted was for you to live a happy life, yet somehow your path only seems to become more and more complicated with every step you take.
Though there was no point in worrying about something that hadn’t happened yet.
At least, not for now.
With the passive effects of the Runes, I doubt any fate-related ability could obtain any information about Eric, and even if one somehow managed to catch a glimpse of him, it would be impossible to determine exactly what he is or pinpoint his location...
She let out a huge sigh of relief.
"Everything will be fine as long as no one publicizes his existence. Still..."
Eva let out another helpless sigh before continuing.
"...I somehow went from being connected to one existence hated by the everyone to being connected to two."
It was funny in a way.
At the same time...
It wasn’t funny at all.
"Well, as long as Ash continues walking his Path, I don’t think we’ll have anything to worry about. If anything, those Dimensional Rulers are the ones who should be worried..."
A faint smile appeared on her face before it gradually faded.
"Though... he still needs time to grow..."
Eva slowly shook her head before putting those thoughts aside, because no matter how extraordinary Eric’s Evolution had been, there was nothing she could do to change it now.
The only thing she could do was make sure that neither Ash nor Eric attracted unnecessary attention before they had grown strong enough to protect themselves, because as long as their identities remained hidden, the countless existences scattered throughout the Infinite Dimensions would never know that a race they had erased from history had been born once again.
