Yu Zhizhi wrung the water out of her handkerchief and quickly got up to head back the way she came.
The palm-sized Little Red Spider scrambled away with surprising speed.
It led Yu Zhizhi back to the safe house before daring to return to Paradise itself.

Yu Zhizhi didn’t dare to linger. She returned to the cabin, and the heart that had been caught in her throat slowly settled back into place upon seeing Tang Luo Ke on the mattress.

The male Beastman who had been secretly following her licked the fresh blood from the corner of his mouth. He immediately returned to base to report the situation to his boss.
