Yusen faltered. He turned back, his voice much gentler than usual. "It’s doing very well."

"Can I see it?" Yu Zhizhi asked.

Yusen went to the table and poured a cup of sobering tea. "It’s in the Glacier, a long way from the Imperial City. If you want to see it, we’ll have to wait until the Sea Sacrifice Ceremony is over. I can take you then."

"Okay!"

A smile spread across Yu Zhizhi’s face at the thought of going to the Glacier to see their Mermaid Baby.
