Primordial Red Goblin

Chapter 118: Ginger’s Confession

"I’ve never been outside the city." Laura said.

"Really? My first time through the gates was with Erik too." Lucy said hooking her arm around Laura’s.

"It’s so big, and empty out here." Laura said looking around."

"The world outside the city is definitely big but certainly not empty. There are hundreds more cities just in this kingdom, and outside the cities are countless monsters." Lucy said.

"Is it really okay that Erik is the only one wearing armor out here?" Laura asked.

"Do you really think our man would let anything happen to us? Or to his unborn children?" Sarah laughed.

"We have nothing to worry about. That man is violently protective of his women, and after this morning you can safely say that includes you." Lucy said.

"So when are you going to let him have you?" Sarah asked Ginger.

Ginger blushed as Sarah wrapped her arm around her shoulder.

"I don’t know." Ginger whispered.

"Just think about it. Our children will be the first generation of his race. We will be the ones to raise them and teach them how to survive in this world." Sarah said as she put her free hand over her womb.

Every woman currently pregnant put their hands on their womb and smiled.

The girls continued to talk until we stopped for lunch. Sarah had pulled some folding chairs from her storage ring and the girls sat down while they ate. We rested for half an hour before continuing. Sarah wrapped her arms around me and leaned her head against my shoulder.

"How long before you can walk in public without your armor? I would like to be able to hold your hand instead of your gauntlet." She asked.

"Once we head into the forest to begin building our clan the armor will only be necessary when we leave our village." I said.

"So when will that be?’ Lyra asked.

"Soon my beautiful wolf." I answered.

"You filled fourteen storage rings with supplies for less than a hundred gold. What else do you need?" Amber asked.

"The supplies I bought is only enough to build a portion of what I want built. Elyndra said if I build an orphanage big enough I can take all the sisters and children with me. The biggest expense will be the slaves needed to start the village. I need slaves to build the building, slaves to grow the crops, slaves to help guard the village, and slaves to teach and train our children. I will also need to buy seed to start the crops and livestock to provide the village with meat." I explained.

"You can fill the rest of the rings with only a few hundred more gold, that will leave you with about seven thousand gold to buy the slaves." Sarah said.

"Yes, that’s true. According to the map it will take at least two months for a large caravan to travel deep enough into the forest to ensure adventurers so find it by accident." I said.

"Two months? How deep into the forest do you want to go?" Ginger asked.

"From the center of the forest the map shows it to span roughly a thousand miles in every direction. In two months a wagon caravan transporting livestock can travel about seven hundred miles." I answered.

"So when do you want to start the journey?" Lucy asked.

"Before we left I took fifteen rings and all the gold from the safe. While we are in Sapphire City I plan on buying more supplies and maybe some slaves. I don’t want to buy too much in one city in case people get suspicious so I will shop in both cities." I explained.

"Wait, so this is a shopping trip?" Sarah grinned.

"Partially. I really do want to check on the sisters and the children." I said.

Shortly before sunset we setup camp near the road. I put up the tent and grabbed Laura by the hand and led her in first. After all the women except for Ginger were filled with my seed I put on my pants and stepped out of the tent and saw Ginger sitting by the fire. I sat next to her and pulled her onto my lap and began petting her head.

"How are you doing little fox?" I asked.

She leaned into my hand and closed her eyes.

"I’m good. I was just thinking about my parents." She answered.

"Do you miss them?" I asked.

"No, I don’t. That’s what I was thinking about. I should miss them, right? But I don’t." She mumbled.

"That depends on how close you were to them. If you weren’t that close then it makes sense that you don’t miss them." I said.

"I wasn’t close to my dad at all, he spent mkst of his time working for the family. I was close to my mom when I was younger but when I unlocked my class when I was fifteen she had me spend most of my free time training so we didn’t spend much time together after that." She said.

I wrapped my other arm around her and she turned sideways and put her head on my shoulder. I continued to pet her head as we spoke.

"You are a part of our family now, you can always come to one of us if you need someone to talk to." I said.

"I know. It’s just the fact that I had to be captured and enslaved before I felt like a part of a family again." She said.

I held her for another minute before she raised her head and kissed me as she turned her body and straddled me. I kissed her back as I wrapped both arms around her and held her tight. After five minutes she broke the kiss and looked me in the eyes.

"I want to join your harem. Tonight." She said.

I smiled and kissed her as I stood up. She wrapped her legs around me as I carried her to the tent.
