Primordial Red Goblin

Chapter 20: Lucy’s First Meal

"I am also going to get some dresses for myself. Sarah said.

Sarah then went back into the changing room and came out wearing a light pink sun dress with matching flats. I also noticed she wasn’t wearing a bra either. We walked over to the counter to pay for everything.

"Ten dresses with ten matching pair of shoes for the slave, that will be ten silver coins. Plus another ten dresses with ten matching pair of shoes for your fiancee, that is another ten silver coins. Twenty silver coins total." She said.

I paid the twenty silver coins and led the girls to the hotel. When we arrived I approached the counter where the clerk was standing.

"I just bought a new slave, I will need to keep my room for an additional seven days for her while I am using the honeymoon suite." I said.

"Yes sir. That will be one gold twenty, are you sure you want to spend that much on a slave?" He asked.

"It’s my coin and my slave, don’t ask me that again." I said.

"Yes sir, sorry sir." He said as he bowed nearly hitting his head on the counter in front of him.

I paid the coin and told the man to bring three meals and took the girls to the room. After entering the room and locking the door I turned to Lucy.

"Okay, rule number one of being my slave. Lucy you are prohibited from telling anyone what I am." I said.

The moment I finished giving the command Lucy’s collar glowed as it received the order and then faded back to it’s normal color. I then removed my helmet so Lucy could finally see the face of her new owner. Her eyes went wide and her mouth began moving but no words came out.

"It’s okay Lucy, he won’t hurt you." Sarah said patting Lucy’s shoulder.

"You will have to share this room with us tonight but after our wedding tomorrow you will have this room to yourself for seven days while Sarah and I sleep in the honeymoon suite." I said.

I then took my gauntlets off and removed one of the storage rings on my finger and handed it to Lucy.

"Here. Sarah has one and I have three more. I might need you to carry supplies or other things so you will need this." I said.

Lucy took the ring and looked at it for several seconds before putting it on.

"So, are you from this city? I asked.

"Yes, I have lived in this city my entire life and I have never been anywhere else." She said.

"Not even to the forest outside the city walls?" I asked.

"No, I have looked through the city gates but I have never walked through them." She said.

"So that means your mother lives in this city, right?" I asked.

"Yes, she lives on the other side of the city." Lucy answered.

"Then I will make sure to let you see her again before we leave." I said.

"Leave?" Lucy said quickly in surprise.

"Yes. Like I said, Sarah and I spend a lot of time in the forest. You will be coming with us." I said.

"Will we ever come back?" She asked.

"Yeah, occasionally when we need to stock up on supplies or to just take a break." I said.

"Sarah, I noticed you only bought her dresses. What is she supposed to wear in the forest? I asked.

"Why can’t she wear dresses in the forest? She won’t be fighting the monsters, we will." Sarah answered.

"At least get her some better shoes before we leave, those don’t look like they will last very long out there." I said.

"Okay, I’ll see what I can do." She said giggling.

"Um, sir, um Mister Erik sir, may I ask a question?" Lucy mumbled.

"Yeah, go ahead." I said.

"Um, I know your ordered me not to tell anyone what you are and that the collar won’t let me break that order. But, what are you?" She asked.

"Ah, yeah. I am a Red Goblin." I said.

Lucy’s eyes went wide and moved quickly between me and Sarah several times.

"Calm down, I already told you he won’t hurt you." Sarah said while patting Lucy’s shoulder.

"Don’t worry. I am a completely separate race than those disgusting little green rapists. Other than the slight similarity in appearance I am nothing like them." I said.

"Yeah, just look at me. I was attacked on the road and my parents were killed by the bandits who attacked us. Then they tied me up and carried me into the forest. After carrying me through the forest all night they finally decided they ran far enough from the road and tossed me on the ground. Just as one of them was taking his clothes off so he could rape me Erik dropped down from the sky and landed right on the guy and crushed him. Just smashed him into a screaming pile of broken bones, then he killed the other guy. He untied me and has been protecting me ever since. Not once has Erik ever tried to hurt me." Sarah explained.

Lucy listened to Sarah speak and looked back at me for a solid minute.

"Really? He did all that? Lucy asked Sarah.

"Absolutely. Then I spent days in the forest with him. When he rescued me I was an unclassed peasant. Now I am a swordswoman classed woman who is about to marry the level twenty-five man who fell from the sky and saved her life." Sarah said.

Just then there was a knock at the door.

"Meal service." Said the person that knocked.

I hid while Sarah and Lucy opened the door and brought in the meal cart.

"This food smells good. All I have eaten since they took me away has been slave sludge." Lucy said.

"What is slave sludge?" I asked.

"Flavorless nutrient paste." Sarah said.

"Ah, your first meal as my slave then." I said.
