"Thank you for giving that coin pouche to my mother." She said.

"You are welcome Lucy." I said.

The next morning everyone woke up early for the big day.

"I’m so excited!" Sarah shrieked.

"You are not the only one." I said kissing her.

"I am going to take Lucy with me so we can get our hair done." Sarah stated.

"Do you have enough coin?"

"I don’t know, all I have left is what was left over after buying my dress."

I gave Sarah twenty-five silver coins just in case. Just then there was a knock on the door for the morning meal service. Lucy brought the cart in and we had our breakfast.

"What are you going to do with your morning?" Sarah asked.

"I don’t know. Maybe explore the city a little more." I answered.

After we ate we left the room and stepped out of the hotel onto the walkway.

"I will see you at the ceremony." Sarah smiled.

"You better." I chuckled.

Sarah and Lucy walked away as I went back into the hotel to speak to the man at the counter.

"Remember starting tonight my slave will be staying in our room alone while my fiancee and I will be staying in the honeymoon suite, I expect you to continue serving her the same quality meals as before and not any slave sludge." I said.

"Of course sir." He bowed.

"Now can you direct me toward a real estate office?" I asked.

He gave me directions to the nearest real estate office and I left the hotel. Once I arrived at the real estate office I walked in and was greeted by a well dressed man in an expensive looking suit.

"What can I do for you today sir?"

I am interested in purchasing a small home, something for a single occupant but not too small. One bedroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a dining room." I said.

"And what kind of budget are we looking at?" He asked.

"No more than ten gold." I said.

"Excellent sir, and how soon would you like to start touring homes?" He asked.

"Is two weeks long enough for you to find a couple of options?" I asked.

"Absolutely sir. Come back in two weeks and I will be ready to show you several options." He said.

I thanked the man and left the office. I spent the rest of the morning walking around and exploring the city. I arrived at the Goddess’ temple an hour before the ceremony was scheduled to begin.

"Hello sir, how can I help you?" Asked the priestess.

"My name is Erik Red, I am supposed to marry my fiancee Sarah here in an hour." I explained.

"Ah yes sir, your fiancee and your slave are in the back getting ready. Please follow me to the altar room while we wait." She said.

We walked into a large room filled with chairs. A woman was sitting in the front row by herself.

"This is the witness to the ceremony that your fiancee paid for." The priestess said pointing at the woman.

I sat down to wait for the ceremony to begin. After about forty-five minutes the priestess waved me over to the alter and pointed at the spot I was to stand.

"Please take your position, we will begin shortly." She smiled.

After another ten minutes a harp began playing. The sound filled the entire room. I turned as the door to the room opened and saw Sarah standing at the entrance with Lucy standing directly behind her. Sarah was wearing a stunning short sleeve v-neck lace dress that reached all the way to the floor. Her hair was pulled back and pinned behind her head and flowed down the length of her back to the top of her butt. On her head was a crown of white flowers and on her face was the brightest smile I had ever seen her wear. As she walked forward Lucy followed wearing the white dress and white flats Sarah had bought her and her hair was done similarly as Sarah’s. Sarah made her way to the altar and stood beside me. The priestess began giving a speech about the goddess and the sanctity of marriage. After speaking for twenty minutes the priestess handed me Sarah’s wedding ring.

"By placing this ring on Sarah’s finger you Erik Red vow to love and protect this woman until death." She said.

I slid the ring onto Sarah’s finger as she tried desperately not to jump for joy at that moment.

The priestess concluded the ceremony and led us to a table where we signed the marriage contract. Once both of us signed it she placed a wax seal on it.

"Congratulations. The two of you are now married." She said.

Sarah hooked her right arm around my left arm and Lucy followed us out of the temple. Once outside Sarah saw a large ornate carriage being pulled by six very large horses. The driver sat on the front as another man jumped off of the back and opened the door on the carriage.

"You got us a carriage!" Sarah shrieked.

"Of course I did." I said.

We approached the carriage and I helped Sarah into before helping Lucy into it. Then I climbed in and the doorman closed the door. Once inside I sat beside Sarah while Lucy sat across from us. The carriage began moving after we were seated.

"That was an absolutely beautiful ceremony." Lucy said.

"It was amazing. I can’t believe I am married now. I am now Mrs. Sarah Red." She said staring at her wedding ring.

We rode the carriage for twenty minutes before arriving at the hotel. After everyone was out of the carriage. We went inside and the man at the counter handed me the key to the honeymoon suite. I gave the key to the standard room to Lucy.

"This room is now your room for the next seven days." I told her.
