Primordial Red Goblin

"Dam. I can’t believe you really just did that." Lucy said.

I gently lifted Sarah off of me and lay her on the bed next to me where she curled up against my side with her head on my chest.

"Of course I did. I had to remind my husband who the best wife is." Sarah announced.

"HA!" Lucy laughed.

We lay there for another thirty minutes before the meal cart brought lunch. Lucy put on a dress and brought the cart in and everyone got up and sat at the table. Sarah flinched when her butt touched the seat.

"Do you need a healer?" Lucy teased.

"What did it feel like? Did it feel good?" Amber whispered next to Sarah.

"It hurt a lot at first. But then it started to feel good. It’s a completely different feeling I’ll tell you that." Sarah said.

"What? Are you going to try it next?" Lucy asked.

"Are you kidding? He nearly split me in half doing it the normal way." Amber said.

"Oh you loved it, yelling at him to do it harder. Screaming to be spanked." Lyra said.

The girls continued to talk and laugh as we ate. After lunch I had everyone get dressed and led them to the bathhouse. After paying five silver we went into the room and locked the door. Everyone undressed and stepped down into the water.

"I think we should let Sarah join us during our honeymoon so she isn’t alone for a whole week while the rest of us are together." Lucy said.

"I agree. I hate being alone." Amber said.

"Me too. Let her join us." Lyra said.

"So be it. I will tell the hotel this will be our last night in our current room." I said.

We finished our bath and walked around the city for awhile. We found a training ground and decided to check it out. We went inside and there was a sign with training classes and prices. I saw a beginner class for archers for one silver per hour.

"Would you like to try that?" I asked Amber.

"Sure. It might be good to get some pointers before we go into the forest." She replied.

I went to the counter and asked about the beginner archer class. The man explained that they would go over proper stance and grip as well as hold points for aiming. I paid one silver for the class and five silver to rent a bow. A woman walked up wearing archery gear and carrying a bow.

"Welcome. So one of you want to learn how to shoot a bow?" She asked.

"Yes, that’s me. I am going to be our group’s archer but I have never used one before." Amber said.

"Great. It’s easier to teach someone who has never held a bow than someone who has already learned bad habits." She said.

We followed her to the archery section and she began teaching Amber how to shoot. We sat down near the side of the training area and watched Amber train. Within ten minutes Amber was able to hit the target from ten yards. The target had ten rings on it with the center being a big red dot called the ten ring. Her first arrow to hit the target landed close to the edge between the one ring and two ring. By the end of the hour Amber was consistently landing her arrows within the five ring from ten yards away. When the hour ended Amber ran up to me with a smile on her face.

"That was fun." She said.

"You did great. We still have time if you want another hour." I said.

"Really? Can I?" She asked.

"Of course." I said.

Amber ran back to her instructor as I went to pay for another hour. As I paid I asked the man at the counter some questions.

"Do you train children?" I asked.

"Yes but they must be at least ten years old." He replied.

"Does that apply to all of your classes or just to archery?" I asked.

"All of them. We have wooden training swords and shields to teach them how to use a sword. We even have wooden training axes and daggers too." He said.

"Say I wanted to bring several children here at once for training would you be able to handle that?" I asked.

"Yes sir." He said.

I returned to the training area and sat with Sarah, Lucy and Lyra and we watched Amber continue training. By the end of the second hour Amber was consistently landing her arrows within the four ring from ten yards away and even hit the ten ring several times though not consistently. After her second hour we returned the rental bow and left the training grounds.

"That was so much fun." Amber said as we walked.

"I bet. You looked like you were getting pretty good too." I said.

"Yeah, I was able to hit the ten ring twice in a row." She said.

"Those goblins in the forest won’t stand a chance when Amber gets her own bow." Lyra said.

"I will kill them all." Amber decreed.

We returned to the hotel and I informed I would not longer be needing the extra room during our honeymoon and he refunded the coin I had already paid him. We then went to our room and relaxed for the rest of the day. After eating dinner we changed out of our clothes and went to sleep.

The next day we woke up early to get ready for the wedding ceremony. The girls rushed to get dressed.

"We have to hurry so we have time to get mother before the ceremony." Lucy stressed.

"Calm down, there is still plenty of time. They haven’t even brought breakfast yet." I said.

All four women turned and glared at me. I raised my hands up in surrender.

"Don’t attack. I’m unarmed." I chuckled.
