"Looks like I can hide bodies in my rings." I laughed.

I sent the rest of the bodies to my ring.

"Let’s go before people start coming back." I told the girls.

We quickly made our way back to the orphanage and locked the door once everyone was inside.

"What the fuck was all that shit?" Sarah shouted.

"Not here. In the attic." I said as I went upstairs.

We went upstairs to the attic and closed the door. I removed my helmet and sent it to my ring before dropping the new storage rings on the bed.

"That was crazy. You just fought eight guys and none of them landed a single hit." Lyra said excitedly.

"That’s because he has over a hundred extra attribute points. He is a living cheat." Sarah laughed.

"In the morning I need to leave the city and dump these bodies before I get caught with them." I said.

I picked up the rings and checked all eight of them.

"These guys were definitely into something. Each of these rings has a small fortune in them." I said.

I emptied the coins from all eight rings into one pile on the bed and began counting them.

"Seven hundred thirty-one gold, two thousand six hundred ninety-three silver, and seven thousand one hundred eighty-nine bronze." I said after counting them.

"Are you serious? Doesn’t that put us over our goal?" Sarah asked staring at the coins on the bed.

I walked over to the safe and pulled out all the coins and took them to the bed. I added the coin from the safe and the coin from the thugs to the coin in my ring.

"In total we have one thousand two hundred thirty-three gold, four thousand four hundred eighty-three silver, and sixteen thousand four hundred thirty-eight bronze coins." I said.

"Holy shit." The girls said all at once.

"Yeah. I agree." I said.

"What about what that guy said? He worked for an ancient family. What does that mean?" Lucy asked.

"I don’t know but this world just got a lot more interesting." I grinned.

I waved my hand over the coins and sent them to my ring.

"Okay, time for bed. I need to leave early to dump these bodies." I said.

We undressed and climbed into bed just as the other sisters entered.

I noticed most of the sisters went to bed naked instead of wearing their nightgowns.

The next day I woke up before the other and quickly put my armor on. Just as I finished Nyx and Mary woke up and began getting dressed.

"You two stay here, I don’t need you with me in case I get caught." I said.

Their collars glowed and they laid back down.

"Be careful." Nyx said.

"I will." I replied.

I kissed Nyx and Mary before leaving the orphanage. I left the city and entered the forest. After I was far enough from the city I dumped the bodies out of my ring and searched their pockets. I didn’t find anything useful so I left them and wandered through the forest to lead my scent trail away from the city. I spent the entire day crossing creeks and streams and backtracking to confuse anyone that could track me from the bodies. I returned to the orphanage a few hours before dinner.

"Is it done?" Sarah asked.

"Yeah, it’s done. Is everything good here?" I asked.

"Yeah. Nobody came around asking questions or anything." She replied.

"Good." I sighed.

"Now what?" Lucy asked.

"I need to go to the slave market, who wants to go with me?" I asked.

"I’ll go." Amber said.

"Are you sure? You don’t have to." I said.

"No, it’s fine. I’ll go." She said as she stood from the chair.

"Where is Nyx and Mary?" I asked.

"I’ll get them." Lyra said.

Lyra went and found Nyx and Mary and brought them to me.

"Okay, let’s go." I said.

The four of us went to the slave market and I searched for a business that dealt in combatant slaves. When I found one I opened the door and walked in.

"How can I help you?" Asked a well dressed man behind a desk.

"I need some female combatants to protect my family while I’m at work." I answered.

"Well you’re in the right place. What level do you need them to be?" He asked.

"At least level thirty-five." I said.

"Please follow me." He said as he gestured for us to follow him.

We followed him into a corridor and went into a private room. He gestured for us to sit on the sofa by the table. I sat in the center and pulled Amber onto my lap while Nyx and Mary sat on either side of me. The employee retrieved a book and sat across the table from me.

"We have a well stocked inventory, may I know your price range?" He asked.

"I don’t really have one. I have plenty of coin though." I answered.

"Very well. As for our selection. Is there any race in particular you prefer?" He asked.

"Not really, as long as they can protect my family." I said.

He passed the book to me and I looked through the pages. There were humans, Elves, and every race of beast-kin I knew of. Below their pictures were their race, level, and class.

"I would like to see these four right here." I said as I pointed to their pictures.

"Very well sir." He said as he took the book and walked out of the room. Twenty minutes later he returned with four barefoot women wearing white slave robes. Two humans, one wolf-kin, and one cat-kin.

"I want to speak with them alone." I said.

"Very well sir." He said as he left the room.

"I need bodyguards for my family. Are you up for the job?" I asked.

"Yes sir." They replied.

I looked at each of them carefully as I studied their description in the book.
