Pursuing Her Best Friend after Confession Failed

As the ten Milk Tea Girls took the stage, the entire awards ceremony erupted into a thunderous uproar. Although most of the audience consisted of girls, there were quite a few boys present as well. After speaking, Yu Nian shot a meaningful glance toward Li Yuan in the front row.

The host asked, "So you’re a talented lady from the Drama Academy. May I ask why you participated in this Milk Tea Girl competition?"

Holding the microphone, Yu Nian spoke loudly, "I’m a loyal fan of Xia Hua. I absolutely love his songs. When this event was announced, I just wanted a chance to get on this stage and see him in person."

As she spoke, she moved on to interview the other award-winning Milk Tea Girls, asking them roughly the same questions.

The second Milk Tea Girl, following Yu Nian’s lead, gave a similar response.

"My name is Qin Ru, I’m a twenty-one-year-old junior from the Modu Foreign Languages Institute, and I’m also a fan of Xia Hua. My wish is the same as Miss Yu Nian’s—to meet Xia Hua in person and attend one of his concerts."

Listening to the second Milk Tea Girl’s wish, Li Yuan felt even more awkward. Now, he had no choice but to go up and present the awards.

Originally, the plan was for Zhong Tingyue, Bai Weixi, Xia Zhijin, and Su Yunting to present the awards for 11th through 100th place. But under the current circumstances, letting them go up there seemed somewhat inappropriate.
