"Spill it! Spill it already! Why are you scared of women?"

As Shitless tried to escape, Onest simply wouldn’t leave him alone. He kept asking the same question over and over again until the poor monk felt a headache coming on.

After chasing each other through several streets, Shitless finally gave up. Since he couldn’t even fly while Onest clearly could, there was no point trying to run anymore.

"Ready to tell me?" Onest asked, crossing his arms.

Truthfully, he knew very little about the monk’s early life.

Only that he had grown up in a church before eventually getting thrown out after either burning something... or peeing on something.

Even Onest wasn’t entirely sure which version was true anymore.

"Sigh... fine..." Shitless sighed before sitting down on a chair outside a roadside stall. The two ordered a couple of cold drinks after the long chase.

Taking a deep breath, the monk finally began.

"It all started when I was born. Being the intelligent creature that I am, everyone used to sing my praises." he spoke in a nostalgic tone, remembering the days when he had just been born.

"Stop the cap and be honest. I won’t tell anyone, I swear on my parents." Onest replied with a solemn expression, his eyes filled with absolute sincerity.

Shitless stared at him for several moments before finally nodding.

Since Onest had made such a serious promise, he felt he could finally reveal the truth.

"Actually... I was the dumbest kid in my entire house. Nobody liked me back then except my father... a-and..." A painful expression appeared on his face as he unconsciously rubbed his bald head.

"Whenever I made a mistake, my mother would smack me on the head so hard that I eventually went bald. Around that time I met Bullo, and together we escaped, eventually ending up on this planet." Shitless said, his eyes becoming watery.

Those countless smacks had become a genuine trauma.

He firmly believed they were the true reason behind his baldness.

Fortunately... or unfortunately... thanks to that shiny bald head, he had been accepted into a church despite never wanting to become a monk in the first place.

"Oh... that’s actually sad. Having a mother like that couldn’t have been easy." Onest gently patted his head, trying to comfort him.

’This guy isn’t as bad as I used to think.’

Shitless actually felt a little lighter after sharing those memories.

Very few people knew he originally came from somewhere beyond this planet.

Back there, only the strongest, most destructive and most evil individual could become the ruler of the entire family.

Compared to that place, this world almost felt peaceful.

The monk slowly took another long gulp of his drink.

His mood to continue wandering outside had completely disappeared.

For some reason, remembering those old memories made him want to quietly return home.

"Shall we go bac—"

Looking up from his glass, Shitless suddenly paused.

Onest had disappeared.

Looking around in confusion, he soon spotted him sprinting toward another street.

Curious, Shitless hurried after him.

"Puahahahaha! Hahahahahahaha!"

Explosive laughter echoed throughout the street just as the monk arrived.

"..."

...

Back at the House of Darkness.

Now that everyone else had gone out, Vritra finally found himself alone.

He decided it was the perfect opportunity to ask Divine about the countless questions that had been lingering in his mind ever since they returned.

Sitting atop the House of Darkness, Vritra looked toward the sky before calling out,

"Divine?"

"Yes, Sir. How can I help you?" A tiny bug instantly appeared before him.

CLAP

Without even thinking, Vritra smacked the bug flat before casually tossing it aside.

Then he asked,

"So... about that punishment. Tell me more."

"Ugh... Is that really how you treat your wives’ brother? I’ll complain to them that you’re bullying me." Divine complained in an aggrieved tone as he shakily flew back up with one broken wing.

Vritra merely rolled his eyes without responding.

"As for the punishment, like I mentioned before, you don’t have to worry about going to Hell Prison. She has already made arrangements." Divine lazily explained.

"The Divine Kage will be thrown in your place and spend six months there instead, so nobody will bother you during that time."

Vritra nodded slowly.

Was that the reason Evelyn had insisted they leave the planet?

If they remained here, locating them would be much easier.

Besides, they had to leave eventually anyway to follow Divine’s previous instructions.

"I see... so where are we going next?" Vritra asked, moving on to the more important matter.

Although their strength would soon reach Level 7, that still wasn’t remotely enough to challenge the gods, much less the higher beings.

"Next comes the training phase for all ten of you. Like I said before, you’ll be going to meet the Crying Monk." Divine replied.

Judging by his tone, asking anything further about it would be pointless.

They would simply learn everything once they arrived.

"What about—"

Before Vritra could finish, Divine interrupted as though he had already read his thoughts.

"Your parents? Don’t worry. Once your training is complete and you move to the Higher Beings’ Land, they’ll be able to live together with all of you."

Vritra quietly nodded.

That was reassuring.

Thinking of something else, he asked,

"What about the gods’ mana? Are we supposed to absorb it directly?"

"No, no. That’s another reason for the training phase. The Crying Monk will teach you how to handle it."

Vritra still wanted to know more about the Crying Monk, the training itself, and the mysterious place they would soon be heading toward.

Unfortunately, knowing Divine, there was almost no chance he would reveal anything else.

"How long do we have before we leave?" Vritra asked one final question.

"You can stay here for one week. I’ll inform you when it’s time, but not before that." After answering, Divine buzzed away.

Vritra remained seated there, quietly watching the morning sun continue rising over the horizon.

One week’s worth of peace.

It wasn’t much.

But after everything they had been through, even a single week felt like a precious luxury.

...

The group of eight beautiful women leisurely walked through the bustling marketplace.

Wherever they passed, countless eyes inevitably followed them.

Since they had left the Yate Realm to enjoy a normal shopping trip, most people failed to recognize who they really were.

Naturally, a few arrogant young men still attempted to approach them, believing their wealth, status or appearance would be enough to impress at least one of the women.

However, the moment they stepped closer, they immediately felt the terrifying aura naturally surrounding the group.

Cold sweat appeared on their foreheads.

Without saying another word, they quietly retreated and continued watching from afar.

Soon, the women entered one of the largest clothing stores in the Human Kingdom.

The place was enormous, occupying enough land to comfortably build an entire village.

Ordinary people with average incomes didn’t even dare step inside.

The prices alone were enough to scare most customers away.

Ava, Yennefer, Maeve, Teresa and the others entered before attendants respectfully guided them toward a section reserved for premium clothing.

After everyone had taken their seats, servants immediately began bringing out countless luxurious dresses, gowns and accessories for them to browse.

At almost the same time, another group of well-dressed young men entered the shop, politely greeting the customers.

As the shopping spree officially began, the two men leading the group happened to glance toward the women.

The moment they did...

They were completely flabbergasted.
