"Daddy! Uppies!"

Lee laughed as he scooped Evandel up into a hug. "Morning, Princess. Were you a good girl for Mommy?"

"The goodest!"

Lee smiled and hugged Evandel while he looked over at Rachel.

They were still in Yeonha's house. Mostly because Yeonha needed someone around who wasn't part of her family and the Essence of Strait who would be overbearingly protective.

Nayun would have been there as well, but she was currently nose-deep in research on potential artifact locations and things that would help cure her older brother. Especially since Chae Joochul had been going around in earnest to look for things to cure Nayun's brother.

All of that to say...

Rachel hummed as she walked over after having changed for the day. Wearing a white blouse, her dark blue pendant, and her rapier at her side, she said, "I think it's about time we head out now, don't you think, Lee? Although we're very close to Yeonha and Hajin, we shouldn't overstay our welcome."

Evandel gasped and said, "No more stay Rich Auntie and Uncle Haji?!"

Lee patted Evandel's head and said, "I'm sure they'd be happy to let us keep staying, Eva. But we should go spend some time at our house too, right?"

Evandel blinked. Then she gasped. "OH! We have housie too!"

Rachel laughed and took Evandel from Lee. "That's right, Sweetie. We have our own house. And we should spend some more time in it before we have to head back to Cube."

"Yeah! Fishing!"

Lee laughed. "That's all you wanna do, huh?"

"Mmhm!"

Lee poked Evandel's cheek. "Alright. I'll see if I can set up some proper fishing equipment by our house then... But we should say goodbye to Yeonha and Hajin."

Rachel nodded. "Yes. Since it's almost time to return to Cube anyway, we should let the newlyweds have at least a week to themselves."

Seoul, Korea. 9 AM, Sunday, April 13th.

The dining room of the Yoo family estate. To be exact, a small subsection of the dining room, since the full dining room was more like a whole restaurant.

Yeonha sat down, nibbling on a plate of sliced fruit before saying, "So you're all heading out today?"

Rachel sat down with Evandel and nodded. "That's correct. We've been a guest for a bit too long now, and we don't wish to overstay our welcome."

Lee placed plates of pancakes, French toast, and other breakfast items in front of Rachel and Evandel before saying, "Plus, we've probably hit the critical threshold for dodging 'accidental run-in with newly wed activities.'"

Hajin turned a bright red at that and coughed. "That's not- We don't...!"

Yeonha chuckled. "I suppose that's true... Hajin and I were thinking of returning back to our apartment as well."

Hajin blinked. "We were?"

Yeonha rolled her eyes.

Lee laughed and said, "Well, I guess I know who does the planning in your family..."

Yeonha smiled and idly leaned against Hajin's side. "Mm... My husband has a talent for resolving problems. But he lacks the foresight for many things..."

Hajin sighed. "...That's fair."

Evandel pointed her fork at Hajin and said, "It's 'kay Uncle Haji! You, coolest Uncle!"

Hajin smiled. "I'm glad you think so, Eva." He paused. "...But only coolest uncle now, huh?"

Evandel nodded. "Mmhm! Daddy beat you, so Daddy coolest! But! You coolest Uncle!"

"I'll take it." Hajin chuckled.

After they ate for a bit and talked about various topics, Lee said, "I almost forgot. Whatever ended up happening with Jonghak?"

Yeonha's eyes narrowed and she chuckled. "Oh. He learned his lesson. Daddy realized that Jonghak's physique is similar to Daddy's Gift. So he decided to give Jonghak a personal lesson."

Hajin nodded sagely. "Anger is a powerful amplifer in the hands of a father."

Evandel's eyes lit up. "Ooh! So if Daddy mad, Daddy super strong?!" She looked back at Lee with sparkling eyes.

Lee laughed and patted Evandel's head. "Let's hope we don't ever see that, Eva."

Yeonha nibbled on a chunk of sliced honeydew and said, "I haven't heard from Nayun in a bit. Is she still out of the country?"

Rachel nodded. "Nayun's looking for ways to save her brother still and to make sure his condition is stable." She furrowed her nose. "I offered to help, but she insisted on doing it alone..."

Lee hummed. "That makes sense. Now that she knows what the problem is, she probably wants to handle it herself as best as she could. Nayun hates relying on people, after all. Bad habit of hers, really."

Hajin gave Lee a side-eye.

"What?" Lee tilted his head. "I know how to rely on people. The world just likes to throw impossible things my way to exceed my expectations."

Hajin opened his mouth. Then he thought about it and said, "You know, that's true, huh. The world really doesn't like you."

"Yep."

Evandel hugged Lee. "I like Daddy!"

Lee laughed and kissed her forehead. "I like you too, Eva. But for now..." Lee hummed. "I think it's time to prepare for the rest of the term, isn't it?"

Rachel paused in the middle of eating some toast, glancing over at Lee. "...Prepare?"

"Yep." Lee cracked his neck. "It's time for treasure hunting part two. I need better equipment. And I need to grind my stats more. Also, I saw some curious Dungeons listed in the emergency broadcast for us Cube Cadets back in Ireland..."

While Lee, Rachel, and Evandel were enjoying breakfast with Yeonha and Hajin while planning the last week of their break, Suho was enjoying breakfast as well.

And not alone.

"Thank you for answering my invite, Cadet Kim Suho." Yun Seung-Ah let out a long sigh, sitting down at the booth of the cafe she had reserved. Tucking a strand of her light brown hair behind her ear, she smiled and said, "It's nice to be able to unwind a bit."

Suho smiled and sat down across from Seung-Ah. "Not at all, Miss Seung-Ah. I'm happy to get the invite. It's always good to hear and learn from our seniors in the Hero field."

Seung-Ah blushed and said, "R-Right. That's... definitely it- Hm?" She paused and noticed that Suho's hair was black and not his usual blue color. "Did you stop dyeing your hair?"

Suho nodded. "That's right. I figured it was time for something new. Does it suit me?"

"A-Ah. I suppose it does. You look more serious like that... I-I mean..." Seung-Ah blushed, fiddling with the ring on her left hand.

Suho noticed and said, "Oh, did you decide to keep that after all?"

Seung-Ah nodded and said, "It's useful... But are you sure it's okay? Wouldn't an artifact be more useful for a Cube Cadet like you?"

Suho waved his hand and said, "Cube Cadets can't have personal weapons or equipment on Campus anyway." He smiled at Seung-Ah and said, "It's better for Miss Seung-Ah to use it since you're in the field a lot."

Seung-Ah blushed a bit more and said, "I-I see..."

An awkward silence fell at the table. But thankfully, the waitress came over to help take their orders. That gave a bit of time for Seung-Ah to regain her composure after she ordered for them both.

And with that, Seung-Ah managed to turn the conversation back to business. "First of all," Seung-Ah said. "I have to thank you and the other Cadets for saving me. While I don't know why you were all there... since it worked out, I helped cover for you all this time. But don't expect it to happen again."

Suho nodded. "I appreciate that, Miss Seung-Ah. And that was an exception." He chuckled. "I'm sure my friends won't be running around playing hero any time soon... at least not without proper backup."

Seung-Ah smiled. "That's good. Even though they're very competent... a Cube Cadet is still a Cube Cadet. You all should take the time to grow properly before stepping onto the stage. There are enemies in places that you can't see, you know?"

"Mmhm." Suho nodded. "I'm aware."

"Good. Then..." Seung-Ah fidgeted a bit, looking at Suho. "Have you... considered our offer then? Like we said, you can't properly join the Creator's Sacred Grace as a Cube Cadet, but with the Guild Experience internships coming up soon, if you accept, it should signal to everyone your intentions. I know that a Cadet as incredible as you probably had a lot of offers already but-"

"I accept."

"...Eh?"

Suho smiled. "I accept. I'll join the Creator's Sacred Grace when I graduate. After all, Miss Seung-Ah is there, right?"

"W-Wait. No, I mean... Yes. But..." Seung-Ah stammered. "Th-That's...! Just because I'm there? B-But... I-I-It's true that we have good synergy, but even so-!"

Suho kept smiling as he sipped on the glass of water that the waitress had left earlier. Then he said, "I think we would work well together. Your offer was fair too. And besides, I like you."

"E-Eh?! That's...! B-But...!" Seung-Ah quickly adjusted her glasses, her face a bright red. "W-We can't...!"

Suho laughed.

'Ah, I get why Lee teased Rachel so much early in the semester now. And why Hajin fell for Yeonha.'

It really was refreshing seeing a beautiful woman panic a bit because of you.

"Just kidding, Miss Seung-Ah."

Seung-Ah let out a deep breath and placed her hand over her heart. "Th-That's good. The age difference is still just a bit..." Seung-Ah covered her face with her hand, peeking out at Suho between her fingers.

Before Suho could tease a bit more, the door to the cafe opened.

When it did, Seung-Ah reflexively glanced over. And when she did, she paused. "...Miss Youngji?" Her eyes slid over to the person next to Seo Youngji. "...And Cadet Shin Jonghak?"

Suho looked over at Jonghak and smirked.

Youngji froze, her face turning a bright red.

Jonghak stared at Suho, his golden eyes sharp. As if saying, "Don't you dare start anything, traitor."

Suho just chuckled and said, "Anyway, Miss Seung-Ah..."

"R-Right." Seung-Ah looked away. "What else, Kim Suho?"

"So, for future tactics if I do joing Creator's Sacred Grace, we'd be working closely together, right?"

"A-Ah. Y-Yes. Since our synergy appears to be fairly good-"

"That mean's we'll probably be in close contact a lot, right? Like at the end there, since your teleportation works on physical touch."

Seung-Ah turned a bright red. "Th-That's...!"

Jonghak grumbled and lightly tugged Youngji further into the cafe.

Brighton, 1 AM. Sunday, April 13th.

Holding Lee's hand, Evandel looked around at the completely empty Portal station and said, "Wow! It's dark again! Magic!"

Lee chuckled and said, "You aren't wrong. But man, these timezone hops are going to mess with our sleep schedules next week, aren't they?"

Rachel thanked the valiant Portal worker who had volunteered to man the Portal station to receive them. Then she walked over to Lee and said, "It's okay. I bought melatonin."

Lee scooped Evandel up and said, "You really do just carry around a small pharmacy in your purse, don't you?"

Rachel blushed and said, "It's an old habit..."

Evandel gasped and said, "Mommy has farm in purse?!"

"No, Sweetie. Pharmacy... it's like medicine," Rachel said.

Evandel tilted her head. "...Why Mommy needs medicine?"

Lee chuckled as they walked out of the Portal station. "She's got you there, Rachel."

Rachel sighed.

As they headed towards the parking lot where a private driver was waiting for them, Lee suddenly paused and looked back towards Seoul.

Rachel noticed and said, "What is it, Lee?"

"...Hm. I have a feeling that Suho's suddenly leaning into his natural charisma. I feel sorry for the poor woman he targets. She doesn't have a chance." Lee shrugged. "Anyway... time to go back home!"

Evandel held up her hands. "Yay! Home! And more brekkie!"
