Rebirth: Beasts Bound

Chapter 97 - 097: PAMPERED

"She’s pregnant."

The words rang in my head. Everyone froze, staring at me and then at each other. I, on the other hand, burst out into merciless laughter.

"What the fvck do you mean?" I said and stared at my belly. "Pregnant! Doctor, stop this joke already," I said and moved to stand up but my back hit and I paused mid-action.

Was this world trying to drive me crazy? Was it because I cursed Elowen when I found out she was pregnant? Because why the fvck was I hearing this fvcking shit? My laugh died down when I saw the doctor looking serious.

"No, this can’t be true, right?" I snapped and he moved backwards. "With triplets," he added and my eyes widened, like they would fall out of my socket. I went into another round of laughter.

"You bastards," I laughed, glaring at the ceiling. "Stop this joke, doctor," I said but he adjusted his coat.

"I know this can be a lot to handle and to actually think about. But it’s the sad truth—you are three weeks gone!" he said and my smirk died down.

I stared at my beast-men and then at Bibi and Liora who seemed utterly confused and bewildered.

"You didn’t take supplements to avoid pregnancy?" Bibi asked and my lips snapped, "I had 0.1 percent chance of getting pregnant, why would I take those supplements?" I yelled in frustration and placed my hands on my head.

"This can’t be happening?" I thought and snapped my gaze at my beast-men, I gritted my teeth and pointed my fingers at them.

"You guys seduced me!" I yelled out loud, the heat boiled in my body but it didn’t hurt, I only felt anger.

"Who’s the father?" Liora asked and I chuckled, "How would I know?" I mumbled in embarrassment. "I have had sex with everyone... except Thyrian. We just had sex yesterday, so I can’t be pregnant with his child!" I thought and the doctor coughed as if countering my words.

"You should check yourself after two weeks. You even have high chances of getting pregnant with the merman cubs, because he was the only one among your beast-men who seemed to have marked you," he said and I froze. No words escaped from my throat. I just closed my mouth.

"So how do I know the father of the cubs inside me?" I asked, swallowing hard and he smiled. "When you give birth, you will know," he said. I just stared at the ground. I didn’t have the strength even to shout, I just laid back and pulled the duvet over my body, while I stared at the balcony.

"Then, why was her temperature rising?" Liora chipped in, cutting through the silence. I felt my beast-men’s gaze on me but they didn’t say a word.

"The anti was countering the pregnancy. Her cubs could obviously die, that’s why she coughed out blood. But surprisingly, the mark seems to be neutralized by the cubs, they are actually accepting each other... her blood is fighting the backlash!" he said.

"Don’t worry, she will be perfectly fine," he said, brought out his tools and began to scribble down some stuff on paper.

"These are supplements she should take. It’s for the baby’s health and hers too," he said and was ready to leave but then—

"Doctor please, no one should know about this!" Bibi said and he nodded, walking off. The moment the door closed shut, Veyra stepped forward.

"It’s okay, it’s really not bad having a cub. You will be the perfect mother and we will all take care of them!" he said and gently walked to my side, softly caressing my cheeks but I just gazed out.

"Yeah, don’t be worried, we will all help you throughout," Ryker chirped in but Azrael grumbled softly under his breath, "She will be kicked out if she is found to be pregnant!" he said and everyone in the room went silent.

"Okay, I shouldn’t have last night!" he said but I laughed. "Nothing is your fault, I clearly started it all. Besides, if you didn’t happen yesterday, I wouldn’t know I’m pregnant!" I said and sniffed softly, trying to hold back tears.

"Raven, are you happy?" Thyrian asked and I blushed, my face turning to stare at him. "Don’t I look happy?" I said, holding back my tears.

It’s not that I don’t want children, but right now I don’t want children. This academy is deadly, pregnancy will slow me down and put me and my cubs in danger. What if... I stopped as I suddenly felt the urge to vomit. All this while I never felt any signs of pregnancy sickness, but now I just feel exhausted.

Liora picked up the paper and stared at it, her lips parted. "We will get the supplements," she said and turned to Bibi who nodded.

"Don’t worry, we will happily take care of you, okay!" Bibi added and I nodded. They walked out. I knew they left so I could have time and space to talk to my beast-men.

But right now, I just wanted to be left alone. I was exhausted, tired and felt sick already.

"I will get some water," he said and walked off. Veyra gently carried my hair, while Ryker gently rubbed my hands.

"You look so weighed down," Ryker said. "Don’t worry, we will do everything now, you just have to rest," he said, and Veyra nodded in understanding.

Azrael drew his sleeve upwards. "Lay back down," he said and I nodded, instantly lying in front of them, my boobs pressed into the soft bed. Thyrian moved in later with a hot towel and gently massaged my back, pressing the hot towel to my waist.

Who knew being pregnant was this cool! I am being pampered. I felt my mood suddenly lift. I rested my head on the pillow, snuggling into it.

"Thank you so much guys!" I thought when Thyrian’s hands gently rested on my head. He moved to sit beside me but kept massaging my hair softly.

"Aaah..."
