Chapter 1176: Chapter 1176: So Happy

"Of course you can." Sophie Wilson smiled as she gave him her home address. She was really happy to see an old friend today.

"Great, it’s settled then!" Jacob Smith happily jotted down the address, then urged Sophie Wilson, "Sophie, hurry on home, get some rest. See you tomorrow."

"Okay, see you tomorrow." Sophie Wilson nodded with a smile and got into the car.

Jacob Smith watched Sophie Wilson’s car drive off, and the smile on his face instantly turned cold.

That damned Charles Seymour, still the same as before, actually scolding him for not caring about Sophie’s rest time.

Hmph, his old trick of sowing discord is just as shameless as it used to be!

In the speeding car, Charles Seymour stared at the streetlights sliding past the window, a shadow darkening his eyes.

That shameless Nelson, actually used Sophie’s loyal and righteous nature to wave the banner of long-lost friendship and lock in a meeting time with her for tomorrow. Truly a scoundrel!

The two men, at the same time, inside their own heads, were beating the other to a pulp.

"Wow, I really didn’t expect Jacob to suddenly show up." Sophie Wilson’s excited voice made the chill in Charles Seymour’s eyes flare up. "But how did he know I got my memory back? That’s so weird."

Charles Seymour’s gaze shifted. He turned to Sophie Wilson and said, "I told him."

"Eh?" Sophie Wilson looked at Charles Seymour in surprise. "You told him?"

"You really wanted to see your old friend too, didn’t you." What Charles Seymour said wasn’t a question at all, it was a firm statement.

Sophie Wilson’s eyes suddenly lit up brilliantly, as if stars in the night sky were twinkling in them, making Charles Seymour’s heart feel warm and full.

"Darling, you’re just the best!" Sophie Wilson spread her arms and dove into Charles Seymour’s embrace.

She was so happy.

Charles Seymour contentedly accepted his wife throwing herself at him, then rubbed the top of her head and said, "As long as you’re happy."

As for that clingy guy... he could deal with him in private later.

The two things definitely wouldn’t clash; besides, Sophie’s happiness mattered more than anything.

Jacob Smith, who had just gotten back to the hotel, suddenly sneezed hard. His assistant cried out in alarm, "Boss? Do you need me to call a doctor?"

"No." Jacob Smith rubbed his nose and said, "It’s definitely that Charles guy cursing me in his heart. Hmph, that possessive freak can’t stand the sight of me, and I can’t stand the sight of him either!"

The assistant stared speechlessly at his boss. So... why did his boss eagerly jump on a plane and rush over here?

"I’m not gonna bother with that guy. Tonight I’m going to get a good rest, and tomorrow I’ll go see my precious Sophie baby." Jacob Smith hummed a tune happily, hands in his pockets, wiggling his way inside.

He was extremely happy, but Ethan Seymour wasn’t happy at all.

"You’re back." Charlotte Reed greeted him like a virtuous wife, smiling as she took his coat, and at the same time handed him a glass of warm water at just the right temperature to moisten his throat. "Well? Did you meet the person in charge at G Corporation?"

This time Ethan Seymour had gone over precisely to meet G Corporation’s person in charge. If he could establish cooperation right as G Corporation was settling in the Imperial City, they might be able to build a long-term partnership in the future.

If that worked out, Ethan Seymour’s position in Seymour Corporation would become even more secure. That way, when the time came, they could let James return to the company.

James starting his own business out there on his own was really just too hard.
