Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 1293: Changing the DateChapter 1293: Chapter 1293: Changing the Date
"Mom, I know." Sophie Wilson deliberately stretched her voice in a playful manner, "Is your daughter the type of person who doesn’t know about giving back?"
Clarissa Taylor laughed and then asked, "Have you sorted out the people you plan to invite?"
"Yes, I’ve given him the list." Sophie Wilson knew why her mom was saying this; she was worried that she might become arrogant and not appreciate things, eventually ruining a good relationship.
No matter how good the relationship, it needs to be maintained.
Sophie Wilson felt that she was truly exceptionally happy.
Once Baby had played enough, Sophie Wilson drove back home.
On the way, Baby kept curiously looking out the window, constantly asking Clarissa Taylor what this and that were.
The grandparent and grandchild were having such a good time that Sophie Wilson, driving in the front, couldn’t help but smile.
Later that night, Sophie Wilson sighed lightly and said to Charles Seymour, "How about we change our wedding date?"
"Why?" Charles Seymour immediately tensed up upon hearing that.
What did Sophie mean by this?
"I took Baby on an outing with my mom," Sophie Wilson said.
Charles nodded, staring intently at her. What does a picnic have to do with changing their wedding date?
"Well, there’s a theme park being built over there, and I think they’ve announced the date—it opens the day after our wedding," Sophie Wilson said while pursing her lips, "Baby wants to go play there."
"I heard there will be lots of interactive activities when it first opens. Various mascots will accompany visitors to play, and Baby is very interested."
Charles finally relaxed, realizing this was the reason.
"The event won’t be just for one day. There will be more in the future, but our wedding date has been long set, invitations have gone out, changing the date now... it would be inconvenient for everyone." Charles explained.
"Sigh..." Sophie Wilson sighed lightly. She knew changing the date so suddenly was not ideal, but in the afternoon, Baby’s longing little eyes made her wish she could pluck stars from the sky for him.
"I have been a bit capricious." Sophie Wilson smiled apologetically.
Charles pulled her into his embrace and said softly, "You love Baby too much. I believe that more than going to the theme park, Baby would love to see us get married."
"Really?" Sophie Wilson asked with amusement, "How can Baby understand it at such a young age?"
"Surely he wants his parents to be together soon," Charles said with certainty.
Sophie Wilson looked up and gave him a sideways glance. Is he really shameless, or is there no problem?
"We’ll go to the theme park later," Charles said, oblivious to the emotions in Sophie Wilson’s eyes. "Don’t you love going there too?"
"Yes, yes!" Sophie Wilson got very excited talking about the theme park, "This theme park is super impressive; I’ve heard it took several years to build, and every design aspect involved top-notch experts."
"The key is, it’s not about foreign cartoons inside, it’s about our country’s myths and legends," Sophie Wilson said excitedly, "And there are lots of cartoon mascots to see."
"Most importantly, there’s an Immortal Palace inside!" Sophie Wilson grew more and more excited as she spoke, "I really want to see it."
"We’ll go when it opens," Charles promised.
"Alright, alright." Sophie Wilson nodded repeatedly, "But after our wedding, didn’t you arrange a honeymoon trip?"
