After harvesting Death Power from the zombies, Serea now had 234 Death Crystals—enough to unleash that tactic.

First, she spent 100 Death Crystals to unlock the "Skeleton Soldier Station" at the recently constructed makeshift station, then used 50 Death Crystals to place another Plague Graveyard: Undead. As for the remaining Death Crystals...

"Transform Skeletons!"

Fifty Death Crystals were consumed, and then 100 skeletons stood up in the graveyard. Adding the 100 skeletons already in the camp, there were now 200 skeletons on standby.

"Activate skill 'Skeleton Soldier'."

The Skeleton Soldier Station's effect was activated, both stations consuming 10 Death Crystals per minute, and with the "Slaughter Will" +1 Undead level bonus, the average level of these skeletons had already reached level 14.

Everything was ready; the battle began!

"Open the main gate!"

At this command, the main gate swung open. The zombies outside looked ready to charge in, but due to some controlling force, they suppressed their urge and only howled from outside.

Adolf, observing through an Underworld Bug, was somewhat puzzled.

"Has that woman gone mad?"

In his eyes, opening the main gate now was tantamount to suicide. Nearly two thousand Undead had gathered outside, most being feeble zombies, but such numbers were not something a mere "camp" could confront head-on.

"Well, just as well. I'll get rid of you now and save myself some trouble later."

With that, Adolf relinquished control over the Undead. Driven by instinct, they rushed toward the camp teeming with living aura.

"Ahhh!"

A new zombie horde surged forward, charging at the wide-open main gate, but then, in the next moment...

"For the Queen!"

With this cry, Little Black's "Terror Roar"

BUFF stacked on, followed by Lola summoning a Bloodfiend Treant, and Senluoluo taking root on the spot to unleash a powerful BUFF aura.

With various BUFFs, skeletons wielding all manner of weapons marched from the main gate. Thanks to the Skeleton Soldier Station, they had transformed into Skeleton Soldiers. Besides improved attributes, they also gained an array of combat skills and battle instincts.

200 vs 1,800. With such a vast numerical disadvantage, could the skeletons prevail?

As both sides clashed, the elven archers and skeleton archers provided ranged cover, direwolves and dragonhawks offered magical support, and the battle erupted again. Adolf assumed his Undead would keep gathering, and even if they failed to overrun the camp, they'd wear down its defenders and prepare for future conflict, but...

"Hm? Are these really skeletons?"

Watching skeletons charge into the zombie horde, mowing them down, Adolf couldn't help but question himself.

He even suspected that these skeletons were all disguised Skeleton Warriors.

But his surprise was only brief, for as the skeletons rampaged, their numbers quickly dwindled as well.

Strong as they were, they were still just skeletons. As the fight went on, more skeletons fell; after the cost of nearly four hundred zombies, few skeletons were left.

Seeing this, Adolf was overjoyed, unaware of what terrifying thing awaited him.

System: Gained Death Crystal *1.

System: Gained Death Crystal *1.

System: ...

The mass demise of zombies provided Serea with a considerable haul of Death Crystals. Seeing her stash reach 187 again, she grinned.

"Transform Skeletons."

System: Consumed 84 Death Crystals, transformed 168 Skeletons.

A new group of skeletons rose from the graveyard, picked up weapons, joined the Skeleton Soldier Station's control, and assembled to charge the main gate.

"Huh!!!"

Gazing at yet another wave of skeletons rushing forth, Adolf was dumbstruck.

"How are there more?"

But then—

"No matter. A mob is a mob."

This time, the main Undead force wasn't just zombies; skeletons from the rear joined in too. Both sides fought fiercely, but up against Serea's Skeleton Soldiers, those enemy skeletons lasted only a few exchanges.

Yet, with such a numbers gap, the second wave of skeletons was about to fall as well, but then...

"For the Queen!"

"Damn it, will this never end?!"

Seeing yet another skeleton charge, Adolf realized that something was very wrong. Corpses were now piled like mountains at the main gate, the Undead had lost over a thousand already.

"No, there's something wrong with these skeletons. Forget the numbers, just by strength alone..."

Through the Underworld Bug, Adolf noticed Senluoluo's presence. After appraising carefully, he realized the skeleton soldiers had been strengthened by that beast!

Retreat!

As the number of Undead drastically decreased, Adolf had no choice but to make this decision.

With a roar, the zombies abandoned piles of corpses and withdrew from the camp. Seeing several hundred Death Crystals remaining, could Serea possibly let them go?

Sensing the locations of Little Black and company, Serea waved her hand grandly.

"All troops, attack!"

"For the Queen!"

The Skeleton Warrior army charged as the vanguard, followed by the blood slave, blood elf, and wolf rider troops. At the same time—

"Sha sha sha!"

Bone Yan charged out; its massive form moved among the zombies like a miniature behemoth. Swiping with claws and biting, zombies fell in droves. Now and then a Shadow Spit followed, and together with the main force, less than one in ten of the fleeing zombies survived.

"Not good, they're trying to break out!"

Realizing this, Adolf hurriedly gathered the main Undead force that surrounded the camp—skeletons, zombie beasts, abominations, and even the silhouette of an Abomination hidden among them.

"You can't wait to stop us once you see us breaking out, can you? But that's exactly what I wanted!"

As he finished speaking, maro shouted.

"Form up and advance!"

Shield walls were raised, spearmen stepped forth, and skeleton warriors, together with blood slaves, shielded the blood elf archers and priests within the formation. Occasional Corrosive Spray attacks were blocked by defensive walls from Lola and the others.

The shield-spear formation advanced unimpeded—until...

"I'll devour you!"

Abominations dragged their bloated bodies toward the shield wall. As behemoths, their massive bone blades could breach the infantry's shield wall within a few blows, but then—

"Defend our master's land!" x4

Bang bang bang bang!

Gargoyle war spears and stone pikes fell from the sky, halting two Abominations, while two more behemoths charged the Abomination. If Abominations were formidable against infantry, they were no match for the vampire behemoth creations.

After several exchanges, the Abominations were shredded into a heap of bone fragments, and even the last Abomination struggled in vain—until...

"Clark!"

"Clark is here!"

Boom!

With a thunderous crash, Clark landed directly atop the Abomination. Pinning it beneath himself, Clark's gemstone eyes flashed red.

Burning Beam! x3

With the aid of the other behemoths, Clark unleashed Burning Beam—searing the Abomination's body to a crisp.

Behemoth battle: total victory!
