Chapter 1364: Chapter 1364: An Unwilling Request

While Ah Lin was on the phone, Jin Hao spoke up again, saying, "Miss Jiang, we’re very sincere, and my side has a fairly large demand. I’d like to go take a look at your production workshop. I wonder what Miss Jiang thinks of that?"

"There’s no rush for that. We can talk about it after our cooperation is settled; it won’t be too late then." Jiang Xue calmly turned down Jin Hao’s request. What a joke—letting him visit the workshop? How could that be allowed?

Setting aside the fact that She was still suspicious of Jin Hao’s identity—even if She weren’t, there was no way She would take him for a tour. It wasn’t that She was being petty or narrow-minded; it was that you can’t afford not to guard against others.

What if he stole her technology during the visit?

"Looks like Miss Jiang still doesn’t believe in my sincerity." Jin Hao said, wearing a wounded expression. Inside, though, he was furious; he hadn’t expected Jiang Xue to be this hard to deal with.

Sure enough, there was a reason those people had gone down in her hands before. It seemed he’d been right to come in person this time. A woman as tough to handle as Jiang Xue—this was his first time meeting one. Though he felt a bit frustrated, it also stirred up his fighting spirit.

Having a woman like this as an opponent—thinking about it, it wasn’t such a bad thing.

Seeing that Jiang Xue wouldn’t agree, Jin Hao didn’t dwell on that issue and instead shifted the topic. By this time, Ah Lin had finished the call and returned to Mr. Jin’s side, saying, "Boss, everyone at the company has already clocked out. The documents can only be sent over tomorrow."

Hearing this, Jin Hao couldn’t help but frown and asked, "No one is working overtime at the company?"

"No."

"Alright, got it." Jin Hao waved his hand, signaling Ah Lin to step back, then turned to Jiang Xue and said, "Miss Jiang, you heard that just now. It’s not that I don’t want to cooperate; it’s that there’s no one at the company working late. How about this—we first discuss the cooperation, and I’ll have the company documents delivered to your office tomorrow. How does that sound?"

"Doesn’t sound good at all." Jiang Xue shook her head and said, "Since Mr. Jin is temporarily unable to produce anything that proves his identity, then there’s no need to keep talking about this cooperation."

As soon as She said that, Jin Hao immediately lost his temper and snapped, "Miss Jiang, you’d better think this through. My order isn’t for one or two pieces—it’s calculated in the millions. For your company, this would be a major contract. You really plan to just walk away from it?"

Jiang Xue’s expression darkened slightly as She replied coldly, "Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Jin, but rather than cooperate with someone whose identity is unclear, I’d rather give up this big order."

"You—" Jin Hao was so angry he was at a loss for words. Weren’t people in Huaxia supposed to love taking advantage of a bargain? The bait he’d thrown out was far more than a small bargain; yet Jiang Xue didn’t bite at all.

"Mr. Jin, if there’s nothing else, I’ll be taking my leave." Jiang Xue ignored Jin Hao’s furious look and stood up to go.

"Miss Jiang!" Seeing Jiang Xue stand up to leave, Jin Hao suddenly called out. His voice was laced with chill and carried a warning, as he said, "You’d better think this through."

"Thank you for the reminder, Mr. Jin. I’ve thought it through very clearly." With that, Jiang Xue didn’t stay another second and strode out.

Jin Hao watched Jiang Xue walk away, seething with anger, yet utterly helpless. Jiang Xue clearly didn’t trust him, so there was no way to continue negotiating this cooperation. Besides, Jiang Xue was a woman with a very clear head; she hadn’t been tempted by his big order at all.
