This Weirdo is a friend of the Prince, not an enemy, although he just inexplicably went berserk, injuring a few of them.
However, the guards know he is on their side, so they tacitly point at the Elder nearby and say in unison, "It’s him!"
The Weirdo turned his head menacingly and looked, "Was that dagger yours?"
The Elder, with an arrogant expression, said, "Yes, what of it?"
"You almost killed someone, didn’t you know?" The Weirdo was so enraged his eyes almost popped out. What a brazen scoundrel.
The Elder arrogantly glanced at him, "This is a den of seedy characters; the fewer, the better."
"Haha!" Upon hearing this, the Weirdo burst into hysterical laughter.
The laughter was particularly grating and sharp, and most unbearable was that the Weirdo used martial power while laughing, nearly piercing everyone’s eardrums.
Long Yi signaled with a hand gesture, and upon seeing this, the guards retreated to the safest place.
When masters battle, it’s best for others to keep a distance to avoid getting caught in the crossfire.
Just as the guards retreated, the Weirdo’s laughter abruptly stopped. Suddenly, everyone’s vision blurred, and the Weirdo’s silhouette was no longer visible on the rooftop. While wondering, a fierce battle was already underway on this side.
It turns out the Weirdo attacked the Elder. The two were tangled in a fight, battling from the courtyard up onto the rooftop, locked in a fierce struggle. Their movements were so fast that those watching from below were dizzy and couldn’t even see their figures. Only a shadow darted continuously, changing positions.
"Guard Commander, should we report to the Prince that there are trespassers in the War Prince’s Mansion?" asked a nearby guard, his heart pounding.
Long Yi shook his head, "Must we bother the Prince for every little thing? What are we here for?"
Guard: "But the opponent is too powerful; we’re no match for them."
Long Yi, eyes fixed on the two fighting on the rooftop, said, "Why are you in such a hurry? Aren’t there seniors?"
Who on earth is so unscrupulous as to deliberately lure the Elder to the War Prince’s Mansion?
The last time they parted with the Elder, they invited him to the War Prince’s Mansion, but he refused. Now, in the dead of night, he barged in. Judging from the Elder’s tone, someone intentionally lured him here.
"Master Lv, is that you?"
Suddenly, the two fighting fiercely on the rooftop stopped. The Weirdo widened his eyes, looking at the Elder with a hesitant recognition, after all, decades have passed, and everyone’s looks have changed drastically.
The Elder scrutinized the Weirdo in front of him. This person had missing limbs but a relatively nice-looking face; only age had caught up.
In memory, there wasn’t such a person. Feeling puzzled, he asked, "Who exactly are you?"
If he had known someone so peculiar, the memory should be vivid, but after thinking deeply, the Elder couldn’t recall such a person.
The other naturally wouldn’t recognize him anymore; last time they met, he was a handsome and elegant man. Who would have thought that after decades, everything changed, and he transformed into this half-human, half-ghost state? Recognizing him would indeed be strange.
The Weirdo’s voice trembled, "It’s me... I’m the Eldest Prince."
With this revelation, like a bolt from the blue, the Elder stood stunned on the rooftop, incredulously looking at this bizarre man with only a torso, murmuring to himself, "No, impossible. The Eldest Prince doesn’t look like this."
