Reborn In A Cultivation World With All Cheat Abilities
Chapter 193: The Battle Begins 6: BalanceOn the other end of the battlefield, Jacob looked at Morbius and did not hesitate to give him a command.
"Call your troops off and send them back into the portals." Jacob’s voice was cold, absolute. He looked at Morbius, who instantly stopped cutting himself and stood up.
"Retreat! He waved an arm in the air and a plethora of portals instantly opened up. The demons, including Destro, all stopped attacking, making their way back into the portals.
At least half of them were dead by now. The elders heaved a sigh of relief as they no longer had to strike endlessly at these creatures, most of them were sweating profusely and breathing heavily as they rested for the first time in a while.

When the demons had completely retreated and the portals had closed behind them, only Morbius was left, standing in the middle, the cold breeze of the near empty battlefield blew right past him as he was forced to turn back to Jacob.
"Good..." Jacob said, immediately remembering the promise he had made to his grandfather before ther battle started. "Now get on your knees and raise your head high. I want you to die with your dignity still intact."
Morbius’ mouth was still sealed shut again, and he could not even say a word. He knew that the Demon King would not even lift a finger towards saving him at this point, these were his final moments, whether he liked it or not.
All he could do was make peace with it.
He closed his eyes, a tear running down his face, it was not uncommon for higher intelligence demons to feel emotions. Unlike the peons, who were only good for fighting and killing, Morbius had near human biology, and therefore was able to feel and process emotions like any human.
"Grandpa, he’s all yours." Jacob said as he walked away from Morbius.
"The pleasure is mine for the taking grandson." Alaric smiled, and in less than a moment, Morbius’ head had been severed cleanly from his body, which dropped to the ground helplessly, blood spilling out of his neck onto the ground.
"You may have your moment grandpa, but we have a new enemy now." Jacob pointed to the other end of the tree where the Demon King in Seraphina’s body and Light were currently engaging in a very heated encounter.
"Heavens. Is that Seraphina?!" Sylvanor exclaimed. Alaric and Banqui merely grunted in unison, the rest just stared.
Rhaenys had already rushed to Xenia’s side, performing a healing ritual on the injured woman, as sweat covered her forehead.
She had already exhausted a lot of her Qi during the altercation with the demons, and therefore she was taking a risk by healing this woman.
But much to her surprise, another middle aged woman crouched down beside her, joining her to heal the girl. Esty.
The appearance of Esty took much of the weight off of Rhaenys’ shoulders and the Elven woman smiled lightly.
Esty smiled back.
By the time the entire party, with Jacob in front reached a reasonable distance from the Demon King and Light. Light was floating in the air, his body was stained with blood and his sword was a little distance away from him.
The Demon King in Seraphina’s body smiled triumphantly as he telekinetically tossed Light away like a piece of torn rag, and laughed maniacally.
"It seems you were able to defeat Morbius. No matter, I always knew the idiot would fail. He is no longer of any use to me. Neither are you if you stand in my way." The voice was no longer feminine. It was deep, guttural, full of rage and anger.
"You are not in your main body, we both know you can’t stay there for long. You also can’t take us all on by yourself." Jacob retorted. Light lay in another corner, struggling to sit up as his face was covered in bruises. His rage had not been enough to defeat the might of the Demon King, even in another body.
"Is that so." The Demon King asked sarcastically as he raised a hand. In less than a second, both Banqui and Thorin were blown away to the far end of the garden, the same place where Lucien once knelt in chains, their bodies collapsed against the wall, causing the wall to break down completely and turn into rubble.
Jacob remained unflinching. With another wave of his hand, Alaric, Sylvanor and Armand were blown away to the same place.
Only Jacob remained.
"I’ve done my research on you, boy. You seem strong. But there is a lot you do not know about the likes of me." The Demon King raised a hand again, in an attempt to push Jacob away from the tree.
To his dismay, nothing happened, Jacob remained standing there, the Demon King frowned and raised the other hand to support.
It was as though his powers had suddenly left his body.
"You’re right, there is a lot I do not know about you, and that is because there is not much to know. However, there is a lot I do know about this world. One of them is that it doesn’t need you here, your presence negates balance, and balance is what the world needs." Jacob said calmly.
The Demon King frowned and said: "What do you know about true balance? When those gods sealed me, they did not care about balance—they only cared about feeling powerful. The world you know is not balanced. I will bring true balance to this world. A world where everyone is obedient and recognizes one true power." The Demon King spoke like a fanatic.
Xenia had begun to come to, she coughed slightly and opened her eyes, seeing Esty and Rhaenys smile back at her brought her warmth in her heart. She slowly closed her eyes again and let them do their job.
Jacob was still fixated on the Demon King, who was practically giving a sermon on what true balance in the world would look like. He quickly grew bored of it. He then interrupted the Demon King by saying. "I would suggest that you leave that body immediately."
