"I asked if there is a package for Han Ruochen." When Han Ruochen saw the man’s gaze, she was clearly upset, but she still held back from saying anything. "What are you thinking, sister Ruochen?" Tong Zhaodi asked. She was still feeling quite happy after having a nice chat with Lu Jingmo. This was the first time someone had asked her about what she liked and what kind of dishes she loved to eat. For her, it was like getting close to someone who genuinely wanted to be her friend and she couldn’t help but feel giddy. Or maybe it was because of the wine that she drank with Lu Jingmo.

"Did you drink?" Instead of answering, Han Ruochen sniffed the air and looked at Tong Zhaodi with a frown on her face. When she saw the reddish hue on her cheeks, she knew that there was something amiss and immediately glared at Lu Jingmo. Did he not know that Tong Zhaodi had never drunk in her life before? How could she stomach wine?

Lu Jingmo shrugged with his hands in his pockets and said, "It wasn’t my intention, but she picked up the glass that I poured for myself and ended up drinking everything in one go."

"Why did you not stop her?" Han Ruochen could not help but blame the man. Was he trying to cause trouble for her? Tong Zhaodi was drunk, and it was clear that the wine she drank was quite good. If she took Tong Zhaodi like this to her home, Tong Hao would definitely make a fuss. That man was rotten to the core and believed that all the good things belonged to him and not to his sisters.

What was she supposed to do with Tong Zhaodi now? Was she going to take Tong Zhaodi back with her to her home? Looking at the stumbling woman, Han Ruochen knew that she had to do it even if she did not want to.

"I apologise; I was a little careless." Lu Jingmo also knew that he was in the wrong and apologised. He shouldn’t have left Tong Zhaodi alone and gone to look for what his brother wanted from him. Now that the woman was drunk, he could only apologise.

Han Ruochen snorted and helped Tong Zhaodi in the truck. What good was an apology? Could it make Tong Zhaodi sober? She did not think so. She could only hope that the Tong family would not come to look for Tong Zhaodi tonight or else there would be a show to see.
