Reincarnated as a damn planet

After learning about the potential catastrophe from the traveler, I immediately pushed every other thought aside and began preparing to leave. He told me that he had been tracking my whereabouts ever since learning about the danger, and that he had been instructed to seek out people who possessed capabilities far beyond those of ordinary individuals.

That same day, a plium arrived for us, and we immediately continued our journey. We traveled for three days before finally reaching a settlement known as Wispia, where we met four other individuals who had apparently been gathered for the same purpose.

The first two immediately caught my attention. One of them was named Mizyuk, a man carrying a long, razor-sharp sword at his side, while the other introduced himself as Vax. They told me that they were members of a group known as the Werewolf Eradicators, a group dedicated to hunting werewolves wherever they appeared.

I later learned that the two were twins.

Their family had been killed in a tragic massacre caused by werewolves, and ever since then, the two brothers had devoted themselves to becoming strong enough to eradicate them. Their expressions alone were enough to tell me that this was not simply some organization they had joined for fame or money.

The next member was Trias, the only woman among us. Despite her appearance, she gave off an unmistakable feeling that she was far from weak, and the strange orb she carried with her only made me more curious. I had no idea what the object was capable of, but judging from the way she handled it, I suspected it was far more important than it appeared.

The final member was Gajia.

He was human, yet his physical appearance immediately separated him from every other human I had encountered. He was almost twice the height of an ordinary man, with a massive build that made him look more like a giant than a human. A large blunt mace rested in his hands, and judging from its size alone, I had no desire to discover what would happen if that thing struck me directly.

After everyone introduced themselves, I learned that they had gathered together with the intention of proving their strength to the world. The moment they learned that a creature the size of a mountain was approaching, they could not hide their excitement at the thought of fighting something so powerful.

Then they heard about me.

More specifically, they learned that a human had supposedly been given a powerful weapon by a mysterious entity. Apparently, that was enough to convince them to recruit me into their group.

We continued talking throughout the day, slowly becoming accustomed to one another. Although we had only recently met, the tension between us gradually disappeared as we shared stories about ourselves and discussed what awaited us.

After resting for a day in Wispia, we continued our journey once again, this time riding atop two pliums.

As we traveled, Vax suddenly turned toward me. "Do you know about the recent battle between the lizardmen?"

"I heard a merchant talking about it. To think the battle started that quickly."

"Not only did it start, I heard it is already over. Apparently, a mysterious being appeared in the middle of the battle. Some people are calling it the God of Bravery, while others claim that it was an ancient ancestor of the lizardmen. Whatever it was, it gave the two settlements a powerful axe before disappearing."

I remained silent for a moment.

A mysterious being had appeared in the middle of a battle and given them weapons?

Could that have been the entity?

The thought immediately entered my mind, and I found myself wondering whether the traveler had been talking about the same existence.

"Almost the same as you, Retian," Trias suddenly remarked.

I glanced toward her. "Yeah... almost."

The journey continued for several more days before we finally arrived at the entrance of the Elven Forest.

However, the moment I saw what was waiting ahead, my attention immediately shifted.

A large group of individuals could be seen in the distance.

Everyone around me became alert. "Those are lizardmen... Are they going to fight here?" Mizyuk asked, his hand moving closer to his sword.

Before anyone could answer, something unexpected happened.

The scattered groups of lizardmen began converging toward one another. What initially appeared to be several separate armies slowly merged into one enormous force, their numbers growing larger and larger as they gathered near the entrance of the forest.

We continued approaching cautiously. They were watching us just as carefully.

Eventually, two lizardmen carrying enormous axes separated from the formation and walked toward us. One of them stopped several meters away before looking directly at our group.

"Humans, what business do you have here?"

Mizyuk stepped forward. "We are here to fight the giant creature."

The lizardman stared at us for several seconds, his expression remaining cold and suspicious.

Then he finally spoke. "Then we should go together."

Another voice came from behind him.

"What are your names?"

Mizyuk turned toward us before answering.

"I am Mizyuk, the current leader of this group. This is my brother, Vax. That girl there is Trias, the tall human is Gajia, and finally, our newest addition is Retian."

Before anyone could respond, another member of the Riversian army suddenly stepped forward, his eyes widening as he recognized several of the names.

"Siar the Second, leader of the Riversians. Cull, leader of the Forestians. I have heard all of those names before."

He pointed toward Mizyuk and Vax.

"Mizyuk and Vax, the Blood Twins of the Werewolf Eradicators."

His gaze then shifted toward Trias. "That woman is Trias. She recently became famous after obtaining a powerful object said to possess abilities almost comparable to those of dragons."

He continued toward Gajia. "Then there is Gajia, the current leader of the Armed Ripples, a group of humans who have trained their bodies to the absolute limit."

Finally, his eyes settled upon me.

"And especially him."

I felt his gaze linger for a moment longer than the others. "Rumors say that Retian was given a powerful weapon by God himself."

The surrounding warriors began looking toward me.

"The Chosen One."
