Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities

Celeste turned on four televisions in the living room that she rearranged. On the top two 70 inch TVs, it was Xander’s point of view on the left and Diana’s on the right. Below them on two 70 inch TVs, was Celeste following Zander and a camera set up above the altar.

"Aw, thanks Celeste," Diana smiled.

It was a really unique experience for everyone to watch the wedding and all the couples were cuddled up on the couches, loveseats while others just hung out in other furniture. Their giant sectional was full as well and Sora laughed to himself at how much furniture they actually purchased for the home. Pride sat next to Eris on a loveseat, which caught some people’s attention.

"Hey Brie, do you think those two are like, a thing?" Sora whispered.

"I’m not sure... they are together a lot, remember leading up to what ended with the prince fight and Diana’s parent’s house? They were tired at the hip the weeks training for it and haven’t really left each other’s presence except when Eris went up to Paradise."

"Well, we are the party of couples... just look around. It’s kind of crazy to think it was just you, me, Sasha and Levi for a while. Then there was Jubelle and it took awhile before anyone else joined."

"Yup then we saved Leila, Julius from that awful ambush, Sera in our first ever fight with the demons. Crazy how fast time flies."

"Especially when you live an extra 8 years than everyone else. It’s still so strange to be watching a video from Paradise here. Athena didn’t even know what a camera was!"

They both laughed as Emma and Emery fell asleep in their arms. They were growing up quickly and Pride, Bishop and Lionel were going to start teaching at the school again tomorrow. Pride and Eris were sitting on the couch talking while everyone else was doing their best to try to not eaves drop, Celeste couldn’t help it, but Xander and Diana turned it off because Hope and Orin were trying to sleep.

"So, that’s what Zeus looks like. I imagined him... bigger?" Pride said with a small laugh.

"Oh, he’s a shapeshifter. He can turn into a 100 foot tall monster if he wanted too. He was just being formal for the wedding." Eris said quietly.

"Wild. What else can he do?"

"That question is more "what can’t he do?" She giggled.

"He’s more powerful than you or your sister? That’s impressive."

"Yeah, he could probably squish Hades in a matter of 30 seconds. I don’t think he would though, he’s his brother. He doesn’t really care what happens on the planets. He prefers there not to be war, but if it happens, well, for Exteria’s sake, it’s better my older sister is in charge."

"Really? Otherwise Exteria would have just been in an all out battle?"

"Yes and I don’t think Sora would have existed either. He probably would have died as a split soul. I’m kind of telling you too much again, please don’t say anything."

"You know I won’t. What do you mean split soul?"

Eris explained about Sora’s past and Celeste became frustrated with the situation.

"Eris... what are you doing?" She asked only her.

"Being honest. He’s not going to tell anyone."

"Sure, just like Helen and Azazel weren’t going to fall in love, be that much of an issue. Listen, that’s Sora’s business..."

"Isn’t it our business Celeste? The gods and goddesses were the ones to agree to let my sister go to Exteria to observe, same as you. She fell in love with someone and had a child. They were willing to let that child die to not interfere, so I don’t see the harm in telling someone I’m close with the truth."

"Ok, that’s fair, but just have a conversation with Sora. I don’t think he really knows how close things were in the Pantheon and how big of a role Chronos played in making sure he ended up living."

"I can do that. That’s a good idea, thank you Celeste."

"Anytime. Thank you for doing so much for Xander and the wedding. That was a really fun day."

"It was! It was great to see my father so thank you for all you did. This presentation is amazing!"

Xander teleported away. He turned on his telepathy just to try it out and overheard everything and was upset. He didn’t want people to see him crying so he told Diana why and she let him be.

’Poor kid.’ She thought. ’Can’t even have a nice homecoming.’

"Shit." Eris said quietly.

"What’s wrong?" Pride asked.

"Xander and Diana are telepathic now. He must have picked up on it. I’ll be back."

Eris teleported out back and Xander really didn’t want to talk to her.

"Xander, relax." She said politely.

"I trusted you..." He said angrily, no longer crying.

"You’re acting like a child and not a god. You weren’t around for any of that, nor was your dad. He got to live and he chose to reincarnate, what’s the big issue?"

"You’re literally just telling someone who almost killed my parents all about my dad and he doesn’t even know. That’s pretty shitty Eris."

She froze. "Well, if you put it that way, I can see why you’re upset. But try to see it from a god point of view. This was a really big deal. Had my father been awake, your dad doesn’t exist here, nor do you. Your mom finds someone else. I sat in jail for a long time for this planet."

Xander could see her emotions were calm, relaxed, a hint of sadness and a lot of compassion.

"Sorry, being a god is hard." Xander couldn’t think of anything else to say.

"It is and you’re quite a young one who hasn’t even grown up properly. Half your life has been time skipped and I’m partially responsible for that so I’m sorry."

Xander hugged her. "It’s ok, sorry I snapped. Those 77 days sucked so I can’t imagine 6,000 years or whatever you did."

Eris smiled.

"It wasn’t THAT bad but it got lonely. Not everyone has a phoenix with them." She said with a playful nudge. "Let’s not keep your wife waiting. You can talk to your dad about it if you want. I think you should give him more credit. He’s a really intelligent person and I think he knows."

Xander looked up in the sky thinking about what she just said. "Yeah, he probably does."
