Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities

Chapter 234 - 2.111 The Council Returns with New Faces

Julius and Rissa finally had a firm hold over ruling over the demons and their armies were being led under new leadership. Rissa helped train the new generals and they quickly got to work, preparing for the upcoming war.

Things were the same in all the other lands. Even MeadowSong was training their armies under the direction of Xavier. Faye and Aegir spent most of their time away from the party, which was absolutely fine with Sora.

Levi and Sasha decided to go to Haven instead of the vampire settlement. Lionel stayed in Sorbella as a teacher, but Levi started helping with the Uthra army. Everyone started doing their part, as the council now met biweekly.

Xavier and Mina began attending, as did Julius and Rissa. Pride even made an appearance with Eris, but as soon as they found out the goddess was pregnant, they didn’t want her involved in the war. This sparked a heavy debate at one of the council meetings.

"I’m going to fight." Eris said sharply.

"No, you’re not." Pride shot back quickly.

"Relax you two. I wouldn’t let Brie fight if she was pregnant and we don’t even know when they’re coming. Last time Athena visited me, they’re busy training their new creepy army of those weird eyed abominations on other planets. It could be tomorrow, it could be in a year. Either way, I don’t think Eris should leave 3 little ones at home." Sora said calmly.

"Then Pride should stay home as well," Dorian added with a kind smile. "You’ve done enough my friend, and more."

Leila rolled her eyes. "So I can’t fight either?"

Brie looked at Ignis and Leila and couldn’t make up her mind. "If you trust yourselves to fight and leave Scarlett with–"

"Then why can’t I fight?!" Eris interrupted.

"I can manipulate anyone’s magic, portal to Paradise. There are so many ways I can keep myself safe! Have Sora link with me, I don’t care." She crossed her arms.

"I’m not linking with anyone unless they’re dying and need my regeneration," Sora said politely.

"Listen, I understand Eris, I really do. But do you really want to leave triplets alone without a goddess mother or god father? You’ve spent 6000 years in a prison, all under cover and Pride spent all that time undercover with Azazel and Helen. That’s so much time apart. Why don’t you just take this opportunity to act like a god and goddess and have your children and enjoy your lives?" Brie said calmly.

"She’s right Eris," Camilla added, with her soft, assertive tone that always sounded polite, even if she was angry.

"Think about it from all of our perspectives. Who do you think Hades is going to target first? It’s not going to be Sora because there’s a chance he blows up the planet, no offense sweetheart, but that’s still a possibility."

"None taken, continue." Sora shrugged.

"But your triplets need you. Pride needs to be there to help you. Raising children isn’t some easy thing, I’m sure Brie has been overly helpful, Dorian was just telling me last night how "Brie is probably being overbearing in the kindest way to Eris," and he’s never wrong."

Eris laughed, finally breaking the tension. "You’re right about that. Ok. We’ll sit it out but if things get to the point where Pride is needed, he’s going."

"I’m fine with that," Jackson added.

"Me too," Xavier smiled.

"We are too," Rissa winked.

"Sorry you two, but you’re kind of outnumbered here," Levi smirked.

Pride and Eris held hands and smiled. They were no longer upset that they couldn’t fight, but they didn’t want Exteria to lose either. The rest of the council meeting was just reporting over the training progress of the armies. This war was going to be difficult, especially because of how many unknowns there were.

"Should we take a trip to Paradise and watch over what’s going on?" Sora suggested.

"Maybe send Celeste so she can watch over what Hades and company are up to?" Dorian added.

"Fine, I’ll go," Celeste said, somewhat frustrated.

"Someone else can go Celeste, it doesn’t always have to be you. Pride, Eris, you want to head up there and relax in your own realm and people watch?"

"Yes but when the babies are ready, we will come back so that everyone can help us ensure a proper delivery."

Xander’s eyes started illuminating.

He saw everything. Each triplet and his mom sprinting to rescue Eris. It scared him, but Diana was smart to quickly use her telepathy. Everyone remained calm while he convulsed on the floor. He was new to being an oracle; it was taking a physical toll on his body.

Diana saw the rest of the vision while Celeste, Brie, Xavier, Mina and Faye used their magic to make Xander as comfortable as possible.

"How can he even see the vision properly when he’s convulsing and seizing like that?!" Elizabeth asked, the only one somewhat disturbed by the situation. Jackson gently grabbed hre hand and whispered to her.

"It’s ok sweetie, they are gods. Things are different for them. If they aren’t freaking out, there isn’t a reason for us to panic. Dorian almost looks bored and he’s one of the most animated people here."

Elizabeth nodded and kissed him.

Xander finally sat up. His dad tossed him a potion from his dimensional space while he gladly drank.

"Those still work on gods? Learn something new every day." Jackson laughed.

"That was crazy." Xander said while sitting on the ground with his arms on his knees, still breathing a little heavily.

"Am I ever going to stop having such horrible reactions to this?"

"I’m not sure babycakes. I used to have really violent seizures when I was young so much so my parents checked me into a hospital. You’re doing really well though, so don’t worry too much!"

"Thank you everyone, I could feel the magic. Eris, you’re going to be just fine. Mom, be ready. That’s all I’m going to say." Xander said with a small smile.

Brie gave a faint smile and a firm nod. "Always."

"Thank you Xander." Pride said with a hint of sadness. "This is exactly what I was worried about. I’m sure that wasn’t pleasant."

"No big deal Uncle Pride. Now that I know you’re a creation of Athena, you’re family." He smiled. "I can handle some pain for my family. Just not like my dad. He’s unbelievable."

The whole room laughed. Pride told the story of their fight and how Sora purposely injured himself and was willing to die to win.

"Didn’t I tell you Camilla! I knew it was something drastic, he’s the hero we all need in our lives!"

"Yes, my husband, quite the 2500 year old detective." Camilla gushed and kissed him.

’Some things never change.’ Sora grinned.
