Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities

Sora planned to freeze time for everyone but Xander and himself to have a little father son time. He let everyone know so they wouldn’t break out. He asked Brie what happened when someone was frozen in his time spell and was actually surprised by her response.

"Nothing. It’s just like we’re asleep without a dream in a way. But just like when you’re asleep but not having a dream, your mind is still active so that’s how we’re about to search for your part of the soul we share and break out of it, I think." She said while giving him a kiss.

"Sora, before you freeze us, did you notice the female metallic one has changed to a white metal? I never thought that to even be possible. How would the metal turn from black to white? Her, her brother and her sister couldn’t look anything less alike. It’s kind of cool in a way, like how your three children are unique."

Brie smiled.

"You’re right, Pride, Emma has Brie’s blue eyes, Xander looks like me but has golden eyes and not my amethyst and aquamarine. Emery has his mother’s blue hair but golden eyes. It never started off blue, either. Now you have three different types of metal between you and two of your children, perhaps. Jubelle, what’s your theory?"

"I can only deduce that because they are direct descends of Zeus and a creation of Athena, they would share many different traits from either bloodline that could create quite a unique combination. Maybe the first born with the white metallic skin will have a different type of ability than her father or be able to manipulate her skin in a different way. It’s amazing she has her daughter’s eyes, Pride, by the way, how do you have demon eyes if you’re a god?"

"Athena’s a genius with creation magic." Pride laughed. "There’s nothing that woman cannot do, aside from manipulate time or other’s magic. It’s why Zeus felt so confident leaving her in charge. It pissed Hades off and he put blinders up, which allowed Eris to create the titans and take the fall for it. It was easy to recruit her with Helen falling in love with Azazel. I do like my demon eyes though. I think it gives the gods a diverse look, just as I prefer Brianna, Sora, and Emma’s eyes. Sorry love." Pride smiled while kissing Eris’ forehead.

Eris was still peacefully sleeping which is why Sora wanted to freeze time. They weren’t sure how long she would be sleeping for and wanted her to experience all the precious seconds with her newborns as she could.

"Alright everyone, Brie, I love you, Emma, Emery, no jumping out. We love you, thank you so much for what you did." Sora said, giving them a big hug.

"Thank you very much little ones. I also think it’s very cute you always say, "Ready bro!" and "Ready sis!" before you cast a spell together. Hopefully my children have a unique type of magic like this." Pride smiled.

"What’s up dad?"

"I’m very proud of you for everything you’ve done in your life. I just need to know what caused you to completely zone out during the procedure. I’ve never seen you lose focus like that and it’s cause for concern: this isn’t something that happens to you."

Xander hugged him. "I just have too much on my mind, dad. This war, these crazy visions I’m having and the way Rissa was treated is overwhelming. Diana adjusting to my abilities and adjusting to hers doesn’t make anything easier. I love our siblings dearly but them pulling off something that I couldn’t... I don’t know, it just made me feel like I was failing. I feel like that all the time."

Sora had a few tears forming in his eyes. "You are NEVER a failure Xander Joseph Lockheart. I need you to look me in the eyes and PROMISE me you will come to your mother, myself or your wife if you feel that way. I love you and I’m sorry you had such a weird upbringing and there isn’t a day I don’t forget what you saw me become."

"Yeah, I promise."

They were both emotional. Xander knew the weight his dad carried every day, which is why he was so pissed at Eris when she was so casually talking to Pride about it. This was the first time he ever saw his dad in pain and the first time he saw his dad visibly sad since the day he lost control of himself.

"You couldn’t help it...you were created as a half-soul to be slaughtered if the gods didn’t agree to have you reincarnated. You were always destined to save or destroy the planet. At least you got that stupid fucking system out of your body." Xander laughed while tears were flowing from his golden eyes.

Sora shook his head no. "That’s no excuse. But you have your own path ahead of you. Whatever happens with this stupid ass war just remember it’s me who is destined to save this planet, not you, not anyone else. Not even your mom. I know you’re powerful but Hades has to be a monster if he’s Zeus’ brother and from everything Eris has told the adults, he’s a psychopath."

Xander wiped his tears and stood tall. "You know we won’t let you down, dad. There’s not a chance any of us, other than Sasha and Levi, don’t give it our all and if you try to change my damn party conditions Diana and I will just keep rewinding time so don’t."

"Wasn’t planning on it, your mother and I already had that talk. As for Emma and Emery, well, they’ll be protected so it’ll be ok."

"What do you mean protected?"

"They’ll be in Paradise. If they come to help, Athena has agreed to pull them out if they’re in danger."

"That’s pretty awesome. What if she’s not in time, though? I can’t rewind time from a soul shatter I don’t think and it’s not something I really want to try out."

Sora sighed. "If I had my way, and your mom had her way, they wouldn’t be involved in the war at all, but you know how they are. They literally popped in and saved the day with Eris again so it’s not like they aren’t capable. I know Hades is going to come at us first, when he decides to make his personal move. The problem is we all know so little about him. Athena, Eris and my mom said he’s changed so much and kept it in the secret realm."

"Well, we’ll find out when it comes time, love you dad." Xander said while hugging him. Sora reciprocated the hug and "love you too."

The Father and son spent several hours talking. They both sat on the floor joking, laughing and reminiscing about all the crazy things that happened over the last few years. Sora made light of the fact that he lived 18 years on Earth, 6 on Exteria, 8 in Paradise and almost another full one on Exteria again, so really, he felt like he was 32 going on 100.

Xander laughed because he was the opposite. He had sped up so much time and because of his god aging, he’d only been on Exteria for around 3 total years now and in Paradise for 8 the first time, 4 the second time, but was somehow 18 because of the way the gods aged.

"Good thing I’m the King and your mom is the Queen, otherwise getting you a driver’s license and identification card would have been tricky."

"Yeah, same for Diana. Crazy." Xander laughed.

"Where are my little ones," Eris yawned. "That felt so good."

"Oh, hey Eris. Before we wake everyone back up, your oldest daughter’s metallic skin turned completely white. Also, how much do you actually know about Hades?"

She gasped. "How did that happen? So I have a white metallic goddess with demon eyes, one that looks like me and one that looks like Pride with golden eyes. This is a lot to process. Pride and I talked about names but this is going to be tricky!"

Sora explained what Jubelle deduced and asked again about Hades.

"Honestly, I just know he’s on the same level as Athena. Zeus chose Athena despite his brother’s immense magical talent. He’s a loose cannon who acts recklessly on emotion, though."

"Well, he’s been playing pretty intelligently lately with those creations or whatever he made. I’m sure he’s doing what you and Helen used to do going planet to planet to test them and power up." Sora said with a slight frown. "Anyway, enough about that. Let’s celebrate the fact you’re a mom!"

Eris smiled and blushed. "It’s weird even thinking that! Thank you so much for all of your help. Pride and I picked out names for so many different types but I have no clue what to name them."

"Just go with what you were going with before? They don’t have to all match or anything," Sora laughed.

"Says the guy who named his twins Emma and Emery." Eris chuckled.

’Release Pride into this space.’ Sora thought.

"Oh, hello my darling. So, names?" Pride asked while getting into the hospital bed and snuggling with her.
