The mansion was more hectic by the day as they waited another month without any hint of an attack. Iris was crawling, Scarlet was walking, the twins were preparing for their birthday and the triplets were already doing very strange things.

Angelica’s metal moved differently than any of them expected and her eyes illuminated like a goddess despite looking strictly demonic. Adam’s metal moved similar to Pride’s, but he would accidentally shoot off a projectile randomly from his crib. Amber would evaporate it, without fail, like she knew it was coming.

More demons from Sorbella returned to Obsidian Hollow and Lionel and Bishop were enjoying their roles as teachers. Levi and Sasha returned three weeks prior and broke the news to everyone, including the expected birthdate. Jubelle was the first to realize Levi was a vampire and it was instantly. There was nothing Jubelle missed. Ox loved it and they both were amazed Mindy, whose sixth birthday was in two months, looked like a middle aged teenager due to the serum from Selene and Nyx.

Leila and Pride formed a bond through parenting. Scarlet took an interest in Pride when she was born and now she loved being around the babies. She could speak more clearly, despite being a baby dragonness.

"Why they have strange metuhl like Pwide?" She asked the day before the twins’ birthday.

"Why aren’t you a phoenix?" Ignis laughed.

"Dun-no dada." She shrugged.

"Neither do we! Every child gets traits from their mama and dada. You got more of your mom and Adam and Angelica got more of their dad than their mom, but look at Amber. She’s a miniature version of her mom, just like you."

"Amba is vewy sweet. She aways nice to me." Scarlett smiled.

"How can you tell she’s being nice if she’s a toddler who can’t talk yet?" Leila asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Liwsten wike I do." Scarlett said with a scrunched nose and arms folded.

Pride laughed and whispered to Eris, "Do you think she’s telepathic?"

"No, that wouldn’t make any sense. I’m really not sure what it is, maybe she’s manipulating Celeste’s magic or something?"

"I think that’s what it is," Celeste said with a calm smile. "I’ve noticed your daughters both developed that ability. Angelica wants to know more about her dad’s body but doesn’t know how to ask. In time, I think you will have the most similar, different children in the Universe."

"Like I said, they’re more of a walking paradox than our family!" Sora laughed. "Seriously, I thought our family was wild but Eris and Pride only had to wait tens of thousands of years to figure out there’s was even more unique."

"You know this is all your fault right babe?" Brie laughed. "If you never meet me in that dungeon your fi–that night at the Abyss–" Sora cut her off.

"I think it’s time I tell everyone in the party the truth." Sora said calmly. He teleported to the security room and made an announcement to everyone in the mansion to meet him in the living area.

"Brie, what’s going on?" Sasha asked politely.

"Just wait till he gets back, I have to contact Jules and Xander."

Everyone started making their way to the living room.

"What’s this about?" Lucious asked Sera while kissing her on the cheek and picking up Iris from their bedroom floor.

"No idea. Maybe something about the party tomorrow?"

"Well we’re missing four members. They’re off in the very popular, newly rebuilt place you used to call home. I think we should live there when this is all said and done. I love my settlement but I think it’d be good for Iris to be around a King and Queen who are like us: a nice little mix.

Sera smiled. "Only if it’s a nice house somewhere peaceful and Iris has plenty of friends at school."

"I don’t even want to think about that! Her dating, oh my. She is already so beautiful. She looks just like you with my blue eyes... in demon form. I’m just glad she has the shadow to protect herself. Have you seen her hair change color yet?"

"Yes! I’m sorry I didn’t believe you right away. I thought you were over-tired because you let me sleep for like 12 hours. You are so thoughtful." Sera said before kissing him.

"A supersonic shadow user. I wonder what her demon art will be!" Lucious said excitedly while they walked downstairs.

Connor and Shawn were walking together, talking about how Connor could potentially learn to use magic. He would need a blessing from one of the gods or goddesses and would need to return to Eerth to a forbidden temple.

"That’s how I got my powers. Was literally lost one day and stumbled across this super creepy temple. I heard some voices so I followed them. Next thing I know Kory and I are in this weird pool of water and some goddess is talking to me. I still don’t even know who to thank or pray to, so I thank them all."

"Did it feel like you were drowning?"

"I thought I was taking my last breath until all of a sudden I saw Kory swimming toward me. He blew oxygen into my mouth and all of a sudden I could breathe underwater and manipulate water. Crazy huh?"

"Why didn’t you tell me this sooner?" Connor laughed.

"With all that’s been going on?! How could I? Maybe Xander and Diana could take us, or something. I don’t know. I remember where it is, though."

Everyone finally got to the living room, including the Lockheart family members from Obsidian Hollow.

"What’s up stud?" Levi asked.

Sora sighed. "So there’s something only my family and the gods and goddesses know that I wanted to be honest with you about before this war starts or we celebrate another birthday like we are tomorrow."

People looked at each other, confused. Sora was always so honest, straightforward and someone they trusted with their lives. They couldn’t comprehend what else there could be?

"Are you ok with him doing this?" Athena asked Aphrodite and Cyrus in Paradise.

"I think he’s waited long enough and Xander seems to still be stressed. I’m surprised he didn’t talk to Brie about it though?" Cyrus asked.

"He did my love. You just missed it," Aphrodite laughed while shaking her head.

"When?!"

"Last night. He asked her if she thought he should tell the group about his split soul, his system and the reason for all the prophecy changes. She said "go for it, you’re a god, they will still love and respect you and it will take stress off Xander’s shoulders."

Athena smiled.

"Well, there’s something I must do before he can explain this to everyone."

******

"Sorry everyone... I’m a little tired all of a sudden. Someone is coming," Sora said before lying down on the couch.

Brie kissed his forehead and apologized to everyone. She explained that they talked about this decision at length the night before.

Sora’s nightmare sucked. He watched internal fighting between his party after the war was over and half of them weren’t friends anymore. He hated every second of it. His good dream was great. Everyone was living peacefully in their own place after the war ended and Sora and Brie were empty nesting at the mansion. They stayed because of how much it meant to them and traveled the world together.

"Hello your majesty," Sora smiled.

Athena didn’t waste time. "Sorry, I free you and Brie from the burden of absolute rulers of Exteria and hereby bless you to reveal all of your secrets."

Sora started floating in the air and watched several colors of magic leave his body while several other colors entered his body. He couldn’t keep track of all of them.

"Wait, who is going to rule Exteria then?"

"Dorian and Camilla of course." She smiled.

"Let me guess, Dorian already knew. How does he always know?" Sora laughed.

"He is the original vampire creation. Selene is a goddess who can transfer power through blood. She keeps to herself, much like Nyx. I’m surprised the two worked together to create the serum for Mindy. That’s why she grows so rapidly. She’s different."

"You didn’t answer me question, respectfully,"

"I’m getting so used to just having casual conversations that I sometimes digress these days. Maybe I need a break from all of this ruling stuff," Athena laughed.

"He just always seems to have great intuition. It’s not a vampiric art, ability, god ability or anything. The man just figures stuff out before it happens. It’s probably why Jubelle is so clever. Camilla is quite an impressive woman as well. To have that mental fortitude to stay positive after everything she went through as a human." She smiled.

"So why don’t you want Brie and I to be King and Queen anymore?" Sora smiled.

"We both know who Hades will target during this war. Please be safe, tell your party the truth and don’t let Xander abuse his time magic too much. He is right. If a soul is shattered, rewinding time will not help. Once it is shattered, it is permanently gone."

"Should we be worried?" Sora frowned.

"No. I truly believe you are here to save this world and not destroy it. Otherwise why would we wake my father for your oldest son’s wedding?" She smiled.
