Sasha and Levi didn’t want their child to grow up without Brie and Sora around. On their first day in Paradise they worked out a deal with Athena. They were happily living on Vena, the other uncursed planet of vampires. The only difference was vampires were the only race that existed and they were able to live off a consistent blood supply, like water on other planets.

The goddess Selene created this planet for vampires like the Earth was created for humans or Exteria was created for multiple races. The oceans were a sea of blood, waterfalls, all of it; it was all fresh elven blood, uthra or human blood Selene worked into the planet’s infrastructure.

This made things significantly easier for Levi’s adjustment, not that it was super difficult in the first place. After 33 years of a normal diet, switching to blood only or a completely raw steak on occasion was different. Sasha didn’t have to nurse Killian either, so they finally had the life they wanted. They lived happily and secluded from most of the world. They had a small cabin on a lake of blood so food was always present for them. They lived about 10 miles from a city and were getting used to meeting some of the new vampires.

If anyone asked, Levi was always a vampire and Killian wasn’t mixed, just not to confuse anyone. If they told them Levi was recently Uthra turned vampire, they’d probably all burst out in laughter anyway. It was the only solution they had to keep things as normal as possible.

Lucious and Sera enjoyed Paradise, as did Ox, Mindy and Jubelle. It was quiet and peaceful. Iris was walking and talking with little shadows coming out from her once and awhile. Then she’d burst off into superspeed just like her mom and everyone would laugh because she’d be upset no one could keep up with her, other than her mom. She’d complain that teleporting was cheating.

Scarlet could fly well and control her human form now and missed her dad. They all watched carefully, aside from Sasha and Levi, who knew they could teleport at any time, in super slow motion as Sora and company finally got their first night of rest.

"One night of war for them and a year for us," Sera rolled her eyes at Lucious. "Still haven’t given any thought to joining Sasha and Levi?"

"With those eyes, my love? They’d kill her. I’m almost certain of it." Lucious frowned.

"Aren’t vampires noble creatures?" Sera retorted.

"I thought you liked it here? Yes, they are, but we don’t know those vampires. We know our vampires. One of the three is cursed to always kill each other. They don’t know demons, they might feel threatened. I’m happy being safe with you and our child. That’s what’s important to me. Look at how miserable Exteria looks like right now." He said while hugging her.

"Yes, I will agree with you there. That is no place for a child, unless your children are Lockhearts or Eris and Pride’s. They’ll probably be ready in a year or two... look at them." Sera said while kissing his cheek.

"Yup. They are something else. I guess it was worth the wait for them! I’ve never seen anyone so energetic around kids, and they have triplets!" Lucious laughed.

Angelica, Amber and Adam were all growing up quickly. As children of the gods, they naturally were always 3 years minimum ahead of human children but their kids were extraordinary.

Angelica’s metal, although white, could change into any color, including invisible. They assumed it was a trait passed down from Zeus, as Eris was one of his children. She could essentially hide in plain sight and shoot off invisible metallic attacks. Pride was hopeful she’d be able to manipulate her metal to create pillars, spikes and other objects like he could, which was what Adam was already doing. He was a mini-dad with his mom’s personality.

Amber could manipulate magic like her mom, aside from time and Xander’s emotional and morality readings, but no one was sure if that was because she was too young or because they weren’t around. She was more reserved and quiet like her dad but powerful nonetheless. She could create things like Athena and even talk telepathically. They were a dynamic trio and if they worked together, which was currently their biggest problem and obstacle, they were little powerhouses.

But with Pride and Eris’ personalities, they buttedheads a lot and ended up fighting each other instead of working together. It was comical. Eris and Pride would often deflect or make the metal disappear and turn it into a lesson of some type.

"Just because you can’t turn invisible doesn’t make it unfair your sisters can, Adam," Pride said white picking him off the ground. "Use your metal to sense them. They are goddesses and you are a god, you should learn to track them."

"You can twack gawds?"

"Some, yes. Others are more difficult. Like your mother. She’s almost impossible. That’s why she could hide from Hades, even when she had those creepy eye implants you see those creations on Exteria with."

"She had dose? Icky!" Adam said while shaking his head. "Scawy."

Pride laughed. "Yes, very scary. Your mom upset is even more scary so let’s not get her in a bad mood today."

Adam chuckled.

"Angelica, stop just hiding all the time," Eris shouted out as politely as she could. She was getting irritated. Whenever things got remotely difficult, she’d just hide.

"Otay!" She said cheerfully as she reappeared. Much like Pride, she looked fully human with demon goddess eyes and a white metallic body. The three of them were already around 3 and a half feet tall, Adam was the shortest by an inch or two behind his sisters.

"Now the object is to attack your dad, not hide from him. If he puts up some metal defenses, work together to get around them and anything he shoots at you isn’t going to actually hurt you. Watch carefully ok? Eris said, leaving herself wide open. "Go ahead babe."

Pride shot off a metallic attack around the size of a pea that lacked any density. It simply gently bounced off Eris and fell to the ground.

"And my body isn’t made of metal you two," she laughed. "Amber, how about you give it a try?"

"Ok." She said confidently.

She walked in front of her mom and smirked. Pride shot off the same thing but rather than letting it hit her, she waited for it and swatted it away.

"Great job!" Pride yelled.

"Faster." She demanded.

Pride fired off three at a more rapid pace. She swatted all three of them away with ease.

"My turn!" Angelica said and eventually all three of them were deflecting a barrage of larger metallic balls Pride was firing at the three of them. They took a triangle stance and guarded each other’s backs and deflected attacks Pride bent toward them. They were finally getting it.

"Great job you three! That’s called working together." Eris gushed.

"Thanks Mama!" They yelled and hugged her. Pride teleported over and hugged them and kissed Eris.

"Ewwwww." Angelica laughed, causing the other two to laugh.

"Oh get over it," Eris giggled. "Anyway, what do you want to do for the rest of the day?"

"Movie from Extewia!" Angelica said cheerfully.

They walked back to their house, in their own realm and sat down to watch a movie. It wasn’t long before the triplets were wiped out and asleep on their parents.

A year had passed for all of them, but down below, things were still just getting started.

*******

Hades and Poseidon were playing the "chaos," game. Their creations were chomping at the bit to get back out there and attacking but they told them they couldn’t move just yet.

"Keeping them on their toes I see?" Posi smirked.

"I think today would be a good day to wait until the night to send them out and cause mass panic. The demon realm is getting boring and that’s where Xander is. Let’s send em to the vampires and see how strong this phoenix really is." Hades laughed menacingly.

"I love it, although I can’t do much there. Is there anywhere you want me today?"

"Nope. You can relax and do as you please. They’re ready for you so we have to make sure we wait until they aren’t, if that makes sense."

"I don’t think that time will ever happen brother. I think they have Sora and Celeste in the spots with water and the longer we wait, the longer it is before Pride and Eris rejoin them."

"I already calculated them being in the war, just not with their little brats." Hades scoffed. "This isn’t going to be a war won or lost in a day, which does put us at a slight disadvantage but Perse is up there creating more of them. I think we might have left her too many host bodies to play around with, did you see the latest batch?" Hades smirked.

"I did, they are very impressive. I think the different bodies and eyes will be quite difficult for them to deal with in the dark as well. This was a well thought out plan. Hopefully they don’t pick up on it." Posi smiled while making his way to his makeshift house via a portal.

’Glad there’s two of us with portals. That at least levels the playing field a little bit for now.’ Hades thought before rounding up his minions.
