Chapter 950: Chapter 950: Is Kael Angry?

Singing something so large moving through the void at such a speed was incredible. To the ordinary eyes, it was just an insanely large amount of silver and white energy flying into the distance.

To those like Kael, those whose gaze could pierce through the veil of power and all illusions, this was a literal universe being forced through the void at such speed.

It had ripped through the skies of Myriad Heaven, piercing a gigantic hole in the Gap and flying away into the exposed mortalverse where it would continue expanding.

Other than that, the main deed had been done.

The little universe had started out with a dense layer of Freedom Formula surrounding it. Even as it expanded, that Freedom Formula only became stronger and stronger.

Naturally, it was able to not only bypass, but also permanently break down all that was surrounding Myriad Heaven.

This was more than what Seth or Kael had originally intended. They only wanted enough to get the Slime God out of his heavenly prison.

But now, it seemed that all the rules were cut away by the devastating hit. All the rules.

Each rule had been created and placed by the Highest Will. Although it couldn’t be seen with the naked eye, it was very much there and was likened to invisible chains.

Now, they are all gone completely.

After all this happened, Kael stood in place in the air. He looked up and saw that there was nothing to look up to.

The colorful sky was completely cleaved through with no hope of a remnant to be found.

It was only now that the Myriad Heaven returned to a dreadful state of calmness.

The temperature was dripping quite fast, Kale noticed. He saw the frost covering the edges of some stones and felt the air get colder.

In the midst of all these destructive and desolation, the humanoid form of the All-King was unmistakably small.

He seemed completely irrelevant when placed next to all these things. Alas, all this was happening because of him.

He was the primary cause of the success and problems that were going to appear from today onwards.

Kael wanted to help the Slime God escape, but he ended up releasing two monsters.

Neither of them was clear where their allegiance lay.

Kael, still standing solemnly on the vast ground, turned around and sighed. His gaze was very cold, dangerously so that it made him look very scary.

But if it was gentler, it couldn’t be helped.

Even the All-King, in his seemingly infinite wisdom and strength and schemes, could not have predicted the appearance of another Alphaverse.

He couldn’t have predicted who it would come from.

And most especially, he could not have predicted how it would be formed.

All that was left now was the result of an undefinable variable appearing where it was most unlikely to appear.

Even Seth did not know that this was how it would be until he felt the vast reserves of energy Kael was pouring into him just to create the Freedom Formula.

So, what not?

Kael sighed again. Very rarely did he make mistakes like this one.

Most times, it was an expected loss. Most times, Kael would already be aware that he could not necessarily win all forms of battle in the theater of war.

So, he was generally always prepared for failure.

This one that happened was not predictable at all, but it could have also been avoided.

"It is what it is..." Kale said to himself as he tucked his hands into his pockets and started walking.

*BAM!*

Over in the distance, the Slime God, or rather, his manifestation, turned away from the massive cosmic hole that had been formed from punching the baby universe through all of reality.

The large slimy head which was supposed to look like a faceless humanoid head, angled downward to look into the eyes of the tiny All-King.

The distance between the All-King and the Slime God was vast, but from afar, it looked like the Slime God was just staring down at an ant.

"Was this your plan?" The Slime God asked. Change analyzed what was happening and had seen how Kael spoke for him to get rid of the Alphaverse.

Something was not right.

"I wish it were," Kael said, playing with his fingers in his pocket. Around him, there was nothing.

In this space, no ant or slime came near. It was unknown if they were still fighting themselves on another part of the Myriad Heaven.

"Your intentions for me, they were never pure," Said the Slime God as he crouched lower.

Kael merely looked up. No single trace of fear could be found in his eyes. He was not afraid and could not be afraid.

He was angry, yes. He was being very calm, yes.

But he was not afraid.

"No they aren’t," Kael said as he tilted his head, "I originally wanted to help you escape and then..."

Kael, out of sheer annoyance, really wanted to reveal a crucial chunk of his plan to the slime God.

And change, being the nosy person he was who had not been involved in any drama for at least a hundred million years, leaned down to listen attentively.

However, Kael paused and remembered the kind of person he was. He was not meant to...feel.

Annoyance? Anger? They were meant to be signals to understand what was happening around here.

At the last moment, Kael pivoted his thoughts and narrowed his eyes.

"...and I wanted to call you my subordinate," Kael completed his sentence, lying blatantly.

But change did not know that.

"Really?" Change asked, his telepathic voice booming and shaking the spiritual plane.

Kael nodded, "Indeed, I was going to offer you this contract, so that we could work together," He then waved his hand.

Golden pieces of paper flew over from his hand, edging between moats of lights and a full rectangular paper stack.

It flew into the sky fast, turning into a beam of golden haze as it ascended to Change’s level.

The Slime God did not react. He did not move his massive body to collect the paper.

Even before it was waved out of Kael’s hand, Change had already scanned it and knew the contents.

He was quite...unimpressed.

"Oh," Change said, his monotone voice becoming deeper and darker as his malicious intent was awakened.

"Yes, so, what do you think?" Kael asked. From the look on his face, one would think that he really wanted Change to join his League of Primordials.

The Slime God leaned back, "Hehehe," He chuckled, his slimy shoulders that covered the horizons shook horribly.

"Your usefulness to me has vanished, lion," The Slime God said, "You may die now..."
