December 25.
I've made my decision almost a week ago, but today, instead of going on a rental date, I've decided to spend the day with my mother.
As for my reasoning... it's a bit hard to explain. But if I had to say, it's because I feel guilty leaving my mother all alone on Christmas day. I know it sounds hypocritical of me, since I've been doing that whenever I've went out on rental dates, but today is different.
Beginning the day, I woke up at 6 AM to prepare breakfast, just like always. Today's breakfast is going to be fried rice, tamagoyaki (rolled omelette), and miso soup. "As for lunch, let's have something light... Some onigiri, maybe? Yeah that should work. As for dinner... should I order KFC or make my own...?" I thought aloud, the diced ham cooking in the pan with a satisfying sizzle. My attention is solely on the ham, making sure they don't overcook.
"Eep!?" an embarrassing sound escapes me as a pair of cool hands grab my sides. I snap to look over my shoulder, and my mother's face comes into view. The proximity between us mere inches. "Good morning, Andy~" her voice like honey, with a hint of drowsiness that tells me she just woke up.
Avoiding my mother's rather intense gaze, I turn back to the ham on the pan. A small warmth growing in my own cheeks. "Good morning, mama..." I reply, sounding more embarrassed than I'd like to admit.
Mom observed my face, a small smile on her lips. "... Mama, I have to grab the whites and the rice..." I plead to my clingy mother, my gaze on the bowls of chopped spring onion and cold rice.
Yet, instead of letting go, her smile only widened. "Go on then... You can do it like this, can't you, Andy?" she whispers.
I breathed, inhaling that familiar wine scent that mom always has. I feel that if I inhaled it long enough, then I could get drunk off the scent alone.
"... Alright." I mutter, reaching over and grabbing the bowl of spring onion whites, then dumping it into the pan. Followed by the bowl of cold rice from yesterday's dinner. With those new ingredients, I begin mixing the contents of the pan.
Yet, despite busying myself, I couldn't ignore the look in my mother's eyes as she watches me. "Mm... My personal chef is at it again first thing in the morning..." she comments, glancing at the sizzling pan.
"... Mom, could you step away now..?" I request, finding the close proximity dangerous for my sanity. "Hm? Do you not like mama being this close, Andy? Or perhaps... you don't like me anymore?" she asks, feigning hurt in her voice.
I think about the question, really think about it. "... No... Just, not while I'm cooking, please..." I respond, my body growing warmer with every breath.
"Hmm..." she hummed, seemingly considering my request. "Alright. But in exchange..." she whispered, and after that I felt something peck my cheek. "Mwah~" mom exclaimed after planting a kiss on my cheek, she then stepped back as promised.
A faint heat lingering on where she kissed me. The sound of her footsteps progressively get further with every passing second.
'... This is just slightly uncommon...'
.
.
"What are your plans for today, Andy?" mom asks, her chopsticks bringing a helping of fried rice into her mouth.
My own chopsticks separating a portion of tamagoyaki that I soon bring to my lips. "Hm..." I thought of a response as I savored the egg in my mouth. "Let's take a stroll around Tokyo, mama. We can buy the things I'll need for dinner that way too."
Mom's eyes widened slightly at my response. "You mean, just us? On Christmas?" she asked, her mouth slightly agape.
'Huh? Is it weird for mother and son to go on a Christmas date?' We've gone on dates plenty of times before, though.'
"Do you not want to, mama?" I ask, slightly tilting my head to the side.
Mom pressed her lips together, forming an awkward line. Soon, her lips curved into a smile as a hint of joy flashed across her eyes. "No, that's a lovely idea, Andy..."
With my mom onboard with my day plan, I focus on my breakfast again. As I take a helping of fried rice, I feel something brush my leg, causing me to almost jump in my seat. "Mama!" I yell, absolutely certain that my mother brushed my leg with her foot again.
"Fufu~" a playful smile forming on her lips as she gazes at me from across the table. She's done this several times before, and I've left it at that after a little scolding, but not today.
I slip my left foot out of my slipper and return the favor by brushing it against mother's leg. For a second, she flinched, but soon relaxed. A grin forming on her lips as something foreign flashed across her eyes. Something I've never seen before. And it felt... like I'm danger. A feeling I've never experienced since coming to this world. And to receive it from my own mother is something I would have never expected.
That's when a thought peered its head, an explanation for my mother's behavior. However, I refused to even entertain such a forbidden notion. As quickly as it came, I stopped it down into the dirt and chose to forget it ever existed as I place my attention on my breakfast.
'... Why does this taste saltier than it did before..?'
.
.
After washing the dishes, I returned to my room so I can get dressed for my outing with mom.
Since that jean incident, mom bought me several new pairs of pants and shorts that are a size larger than before. These ones don't hug my ass like the old ones did.
'I didn't throw them out, though. Since it'd be a waste, and if I wanted to seduce someone, I could wear them...'
Moving on from the topic, I pick out a pair of jeans, a white turtleneck, a purple scarf, gloves, and the beige coat I bought on my first date with Hina. 'Speaking of Hina... I wonder what she's doing for Christmas...' I wondered, sparking a train of thought that had me curious how my female friends are faring.
'I'll give them a text later. Wish them a Merry Christmas.' with that thought, I changed into my outfit. As for my bag, I decided to go with my favorite satchel. Not bulky or big, but has enough space to store a number of items.
"Oh, crap! I forgot to make the onigiris!" having remembered that I have yet to put together our packed lunch, I rush out of my room and into the kitchen.
.
.
"Take the rice and put it into the mold, then the tuna filling, and layer more rice on top. Then close the mold and press em into shape..!" controlling my strength, I pressed on the multiple sides of the mold, shaping the onigiri into a compact triangle.
After a few seconds, I took it out of the mold and wrapped it in nori (dried seaweed) before slotting the finished onigiri into a bento with the first three.
'I would've made tuna mayo instead if we didn't run out of mayo yesterday...' with the onigiris done, I sealed the bento box and carefully placed it inside my satchel.
"Phone, check. Bento, check. Thermos, check. Wallet, check..." I began double-checking the contents of my satchel, making sure I didn't forget anything.
Grab!
"Andy, check ♡" Mom purred, wrapping her arms around my waist before pulling me into a tight embrace.
"Mama... They're touching me..." the words came out meek, my cheeks growing warm. From my back, I can feel two soft, large mounds pressing on me.
"Hmm? What's the matter, Andy? Is something bothering you?" mom teased, holding me even closer. It's like she's molding us together like I did with the onigiris.
She wasn't always like this. When she first hugged me at the hospital, she was gentle, careful not to hurt me. But in the past month, she's been embracing me tightly, deliberately pressing her breasts against me. And whenever I protested, she would say something like, "This is just me showing motherly affection for my precious son~" and I felt that if I confessed it didn't feel wholesome to me, then something irreversible would happen.
"... Nothing, mama..." I muttered, accepting the supposed parental affection.
A moment later, mom leaned in, placing her nose on my neck before inhaling deeply. "Ha- mm..." I gasped, feeling ticklish. "You smell wonderful, as always..." she whispered, fueling the warmth in my cheeks.
I part my lips to speak, but close them soon after. Choosing to remain silent.
"Alright." mom stepped back, releasing me from her hold. "Let's go on our Christmas date now, Andy." she says, excitement leaking out from her voice.
"... Yeah..." I put my satchel on and follow after my mother.
After putting on a pair of black & white sneakers, I left the apartment with mom.
"!? M-Ma'am? Andy?" Isami exclaimed, having left her apartment the same time as us. She's wearing a plain black hoodie and green pajamas.
"Isami! What a coincidence! Oh, and good morning!" I say with a smile on my lips. "Uh- yeah. G-Good morning..." she greeted, avoiding direct eye contact.
"We're just about to go on a stroll around Shibuya, wanna come with?" I offered, remembering that Isami likely has no friends to hang out with on Christmas.
Hearing the offer, Isami perked up before turning to face me "Really-" she suddenly froze, her expression shifting to one of horror.
"Huh? Isami, are you oka-" but before I could finish, mom placed her hand on my shoulder. "Andy, I think she has other plans, right, Isozaki-san?" she says, her smile not reaching her eyes.
"Um- uh, yeah! I have... a Christmas party to attend! Silly me- how could have I forgotten? Hahah..." she laughed, not sounding genuine at all, her left hand scratching the back of her head.
'A Christmas party on the 25th..?'
Isami points to her door. "I'll go get dressed now. Bye!" she then slammed her thumb on the keypad and escaped back into her apartment.
Witnessing Isami's odd 180º flip, I glance at my mother from the side. 'Did mama... No way...'
.
.
"Ugh- Maybe we shouldn't have chosen Shibuya for our day trip..." the complaint finally escaped me after the hundredth bump from a passerby. Even though it's day time, there are plenty of people walking on the street.
Not long after that, I felt a hand grab my free one, guiding it to the arm link between me and mom. "Hold on tight, Andy." mom says, her voice sounds reliable and mature, making me feel safe in a way that I've never felt from anyone else.
Despite both of us being covered neck to toe, I can feel mom's body heat from our linked arms. Whether this is real or just an illusion, I can't say.
Bump
"Agh- That's it. I can't take this anymore..." I mutter, my eyes scan the surrounding area, searching for somewhere we can duck in.
"Mom, let's check out that thrift store over there." I gesture to a nearby building.
Mom nods, guiding us to the thrift store. Stepping inside, we're free from the packed streets for now. "Haah! I don't like crowds at all..." I comment, adjusting my clothes.
"Should we go back home, Andy? You don't need to endure it, if you don't like it." mom offered, a hint of worry in her voice.
I shake my head in response "It's fine, mama. But with so many people, we can't really have a nice stroll, can we? Let's just find a good spot near the grocery store to eat our lunch at." I respond, taking off my gloves and putting them into my satchel. My scarf followed soon after, sliding it off my neck.
I then turn back to my mother shoving her gloves into her pocket. "Hand me your gloves and scarf, mama. I can fit them into my bag." I say with my hand stretched out to her. And for a moment, mom simply stared at my bare neck. "... Okay." she mutters before finally handing me the three items.
"Alright. Let's look around and see what this thrift store has, since we're here and all." I say, gazing at the rows of racks filled with various clothing items. "Yes, let's."
With that, I approach a nearby rack and scan its contents. "? Why does this one have a bowtie?" I quickly noticed that one hanger in particular had a black bowtie. Curious, I grabbed the hanger and pulled it out to check.
And as for what's below, it's...
"!?! T-This! Isn't this...!!" my face flushed red once I recognized exactly what I'm holding. Because the thing that's connected to the hanger is undeniably the leotard for a bunnysuit. A real bunnysuit with a white collar and cuffs. The only pieces missing are the bunny ears themselves and the tights.
And fortunately, or unfortunately, I've been on this world's internet long enough to know that adult costumes like this are often for men, not women.
Without realizing it, my hands are shaking, cheeks growing incredibly hot as I pictured exactly how this bunnysuit could be used. 'I- I would have to wear it...' I admit. If my past self heard me now, he'd be shocked to say the least.
I'm sure most guys in my old world would be absolutely against wearing something like this, but they wouldn't hesitate fantasizing women wearing it. And in a reverse world, it will be the opposite. Women would be repulsed if they imagined another woman wearing a bunnysuit, but would absolutely love to see a guy wear one.
'If I wore this... I'd definitely get attacked, wouldn't I? This is on the same level as Kiwi's original costume with a thong.'
"A-Andy..." mom called out, her voice shaking. I slowly turn to face her and what I see is a first from my mother. My mature, reliable, but also playful mother is now blushing bright red, eyes darting between me and the depraved costume. "P-Put that back, Andy!" she says, approaching me and reaching for the hanger.
And I stepped back, creating distance. "Andy??" mom gasps, not expecting me to evade. "I..." I start, holding the bunnysuit close to me. "I'll be right back!" I yell as I turn around and head for the cashier.
"Andy!?!?"
