Restart: The World Savior's New Beginning

Facing the very destructive torrent of flames, Selene very calmly raised her hand and a barrier made of light appeared to block it.

The light that made the barrier looked to be extremely feeble. It seemed as if this light was about to fade away. Anyone looking at it would think that there was no way it would be able to defend against the flames of the Supreme Sun God.

But when the furious flames came in contact with the light barrier, it calmed down completely and was unable to move even a little bit. So it was completely blocked. This moonlight barrier was a move from Selene’s goddess system and it showed that even her expertise as a god was better than Rah’s.

As for Rah, facing the Abyssal Rapture, he envelope this attack with his flames completely and tried to cancel it out. With the destructive properties of his flames, this was not something impossible.

And he was successful with this method. But Rah needed a lot of energy to resist this attack and had a very hard time compared to Selene. Even though he was supposed to be in his own special domain.

This fact did not go unnoticed by Rah and it made his expression to become even more serious than before.

Rah knew that Selene was powerful and he had not messed with her too much all this time. But he had no idea how insanely powerful she actually was. So it looked like in order to defeat her, Rah would need to definitely go all out or maybe even go beyond his limits.

With this in mind, he activated several functions of this domain of his. This was something that he had created by investing a huge amount of time and resources. So he was really looking forward to seeing how effective this was going to be.

As soon as the domain was fully activated, various buffs started to cover Ruh and skyrocketed his strength. At the same time, many many terrible debuffs came toward Selene.

Most of those debuffs were unable to go past her moonlight barrier but there were a few special ones which were not stopped by this barrier of hers. And they even managed to go past her own resistances to things like this.

Selene immediately felt several of her godly abilities getting restricted and her divine power becoming sluggish and slightly hard to manipulate. Her moonlight barrier was included among the restricted abilities.

But fortunately, her powers from the system of the negative universe was not effected at all. As Rah had made these debuffs to target only the gods, obviously they had no effect on her abilities which were not from the godly system.

So Selene was not inconvenience by this move. But she definitely was impressed with how it had managed to effect someone like her. So this was definitely something impressive.

But this was not the end of her surprises. After the debuffs had taken effect and the powerful moonlight barrier had disappeared, Rah’s body started to burn with a white flame and he threw it toward Selene.

Even for Selene, she needed to be a bit careful about handling these flames. That was because they were the divine destruction flames which were created by burning the life of a supreme god.

So Rah was using himself as the fuel to create these flames. He had his resurrection methods so he was not going to truly die from this but still, it was an extremely dangerous thing to do.

So these flames were super effective on any god of this universe including the white version of Selene. Seeing the moves that Rah was deploying, she was now suspicious that this guy had been plotting against her for quite some time.

Rah did not really have such specific attacks for the demons whom he considered to be the greatest of his enemies. But he had them for Selene. There was no one else who would need these moves other than her as she was the only Supreme Goddess beside him not too long ago.

So after this realisation, Selene’s own killing intent leaked out a little. Even though she had hated the negative dominated universe and was sick of it, after living and surviving there for quite some time, she had honed her survival instincts quite keenly.

Now that she knew Rah had been planning to kill or at least do something harmful to her for quite some time, she had also decided to stop worrying about keeping him alive.

With this thought in her mind, she used a move called Abyssal Manifestation. With all the buffs and the powerful white flames, the current Rah was a bit troublesome to handle, so Selene used her own buffing method.

As soon as she used this method, her whole body got covered in a dark aura and her face became obscure. At the same time, she also started to radiate a terrifying negative aura that was corrupting the divine energy of Rah’s domain.

If this corruption continued, then there was a very high possibility that Rah would lose his control over this place. At the very least, his buffs would definitely get weaker. So there was no way he could allow this.

But he had no idea what kind of powers Selene was using. This was giving off such a terrible feeling that it was many times worse than even the demonic energy of the mega world of Helius.

Still, if Rah did not act because of the fear of the unknown, everything would be over for him. So he made up his mind and decided to use his current buffed strength to defeat Selene as soon as possible.

So while continuing to sent the white flames toward her, Rah also clad his body with it and threw a powerful punch toward Selene.

Selene was using her dark aura to barely defend herself against the flames. So as the flaming punch was much more powerful than the raw flames, Rah had expected Selene to dodge it.

But Selene did nothing like that and instead immediately used her dark aura clad palm to block it directly. Then she held his hands and stopped Rah from getting away.

Rah tried to turn his body into fire in order to create some distant but he failed. Due to his current bloated physical prowess, Rah had ended up making a mistake. He was not a warrior at all so him using his fists in a life and death fight was not a good idea at all.

So in this situation, Selene gave him a terrifying smile while holding his hand. And seeing this, a terrible chill ran down Rah’s spine.
