Chapter 1284: Adrian Walyon, Behave YourselfChapter 1284: Chapter 1284: Adrian Walyon, Behave Yourself
Frozen beneath him, Summer Sutton didn’t dare move, only secretly observing his reaction.
Watt Bennet was looking at her, his upper arms supporting on either side of her head, his lower body pressed against hers, their pose, extremely intimate.
His gaze was somewhat heated, like a fire suddenly igniting in the darkness, as if it could sweep her into his fervor.
Just staring at her like this, his body even rubbed against hers.
His actions were obviously intentional, he was testing Summer Sutton’s reaction.
Summer’s body was somewhat tense, her breathing seemingly reflected that tension, with no response to his actions.
The two hadn’t been intimate for close to half a year now, which was not easy for Watt Bennet, a physiologically normal man.
Summer could feel his desire tonight from where their bodies were touching.
Summer stared blankly at him, her mind a bit blank.
Watt’s face slowly lowered, his voice low and deep in the darkness, "Tell me, what kind of spell did you put on me? Whenever I see you, I want to do these things?"
He attributed all of his impulses to her.
It was only when he saw her that he would have such impulses.
Summer was choked by his words, her face flushed red, "You’re talking nonsense, it’s you who has no shame!"
"How am I shameless?" Watt did not agree with her words.
They’re both in their early twenties, isn’t this a normal physiological need?
Especially considering they were once married.
"It’s you who’s shameless! Your head’s full of nothing but this." Summer gave him a push, trying to wriggle out from under him, but was pulled back by Watt.
His body shifted to lie over hers, Watt tightly pressed against her.
His body firmly pinning her, he suddenly changed his tone to serious, "Summer, tell me, how can you forgive the past?"
Having lured her here, Watt wasn’t going to let it go without asking the question that weighed on his mind.
Summer remained silent for a long, long time after his words, not speaking.
Between her and him, really, there’s no question of forgiveness.
From beginning to end, she never hated him, she just couldn’t accept it.
Her silence made Watt feel even more uncertain.
Straightening her face to make her look at him, Watt cradled her face in his palm, his expression extraordinarily serious, "Tell me, if I pursue you again, is there still a chance for us?"
Summer remained silent.
After his words, it was quiet for several minutes before she slowly uttered, "Give me time."
Even she didn’t know the answer to that question.
Right now, she’s not able to accept such a thing, whether time would bring her relief, Summer doesn’t know.
Her words were not an acceptance of Watt, but they didn’t completely deny the possibility of starting over either.
Watt’s dark eyes seemed to suddenly brighten as light entered, glowing significantly.
He looked at her, his eyes full of joy.
Watt was somewhat excited, as he lay down to her side, holding her tight against his chest.
"I know, however long it takes as long as you want to start again, I’ll wait!"
He held her tightly, cupping Summer’s cheeks, kissing her repeatedly.
Summer was squeezed so tight she almost couldn’t breathe, shoving him away in a panic, she scrambled out from underneath him.
"Adrian Walyon, have some decency!"
