She put the seafood in the pot, letting it simmer for a while. She served him a portion, "Alright, give it a taste!"

She was obviously trying to change the subject. Watt felt helpless, so he picked up his chopsticks and started eating.

Actually, he wasn’t anxious at all. Summer Sutton was willing to come back here with him, so everything else would fall into place sooner or later.

Just as Summer Sutton was about to close the door, Watt, in panic, decided not to care about anything and boldly marched in before the door shut, "The only requirement for me to fall asleep is having you next to me!"

He tossed the quilt onto the sofa and didn’t even bother to negotiate further, making his point loud and clear.

Once inside, his tall frame sprawled across the bed, claiming his spot before she could.

His actions were overbearing and shameless, making it obvious that he intended to sleep there tonight.

After lying down, he looked sideways at Summer Sutton, waiting for her to get on the bed. But to his surprise, she simply stared at him without any intent to join.

"Tell me what you’ve been busy with these past few days?" With a stern face, she asked seriously.

"Want to know?" Watt waggled his finger at her, signaling her to come over.

Summer hesitated for a moment but eventually walked over to him.

Leaning over the bed, ready to hear his explanation, she was instead greeted by Watt’s mischievous remark, "I only tell my wife."

He paused briefly, then turned his gaze to her, asking slowly, "Summer Sutton, are you still my wife?"

He was pushing her to reconcile!

Summer Sutton felt tricked, her expression immediately hardened.

She shoved him aside, scoffing disdainfully, "As if I wanted to know!"

"Didn’t you just?" Watt retorted, following her words.

Summer Sutton was left speechless, her face a bit embarrassed.

Her reaction amused Watt.

Staring at her with a mischievous smile for quite a while, he tentatively asked, "You really don’t remember what day it is these past few days?"
