Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!
Chapter 1341: I’m Waiting for Your AnswerChapter 1341: Chapter 1341: I’m Waiting for Your Answer
His silence made Watt Bennet’s brows knit tighter and tighter.
"I’m still waiting for your answer!" he reminded him coldly.
At his words, Ryan Walyon slowly lifted his face, fixed his gaze on him for a moment, silently watching his reaction. "If I say it wasn’t me, would you believe it?"
Ryan Walyon had an alibi, and that alibi was Bryce Walyon, Watt Bennet’s biological father.
If Summer Sutton’s disappearance really had anything to do with him, he shouldn’t have had the leisure to bother with Ariella Sawyer’s matter.
All the signs pointed to Ryan Walyon telling the truth; Watt Bennet had no choice but to believe him.
Only, if it had nothing to do with Ryan Walyon, then who on earth was the one who took Summer Sutton?
Watt Bennet truly couldn’t figure it out, and at this moment his heart was even more irritable. He didn’t linger at the scene; turning his body, he strode downstairs.
He left in a hurry, and from the sound of his footsteps alone one could hear his worry for Summer Sutton.
Standing upstairs, Ryan Walyon quietly stared for a while at the disappearing back of him like that, then also strode downstairs.
With something happening to Summer Sutton, the one worried wasn’t just Watt Bennet; his mood was the same as Watt Bennet’s!
No matter what, they had to find Summer Sutton first!
Bali Island, which had originally been filled with the thick sweetness of a pre-wedding atmosphere, fell into complete chaos after Summer Sutton’s disappearance.
The guests who had arrived and were on good terms with Watt Bennet also began arranging their own connections to join in the search.
Manuel Ink had just finished a business call at this time and was about to sleep.
Standing upstairs, looking from afar at the security personnel in the garden walking around in groups as if searching for something, Manuel Ink’s brows furrowed slightly.
Picking up his phone, he called one of his men. "What happened?"
"Young Master, Miss Sutton has gone missing." The person on the other end of the line sounded extremely respectful.
Manuel Ink listened quietly to what the other man said, and his heart gave a jolt.
Summer’s missing?
The wedding is tomorrow?
Who would do something to sabotage this?
Let alone Watt Bennet, the first person Manuel Ink thought of was also Ryan Walyon.
However, while he was watching from the balcony, Ryan Walyon happened to pass by downstairs with several security guards. Judging by his stride, he also seemed to be anxiously searching for someone.
He seemed to have nothing to do with Summer Sutton’s situation.
If it wasn’t him, who else could it be?
Manuel Ink closed his eyes and thought for a moment; a face immediately flashed through his mind.
Could it be him?
With Summer Sutton missing, before her whereabouts were confirmed, Manuel Ink naturally couldn’t sleep either.
It was already past midnight, yet he had no intention of going to bed. Instead, he opened his room door and headed toward another room in the villa.
Reaching a room not far from his own, he didn’t even bother to knock; Manuel Ink pushed the door open straightaway.
In the room, Old Master Ink stood with his back to him in front of the bed, having just changed out of his sleepwear, apparently about to sleep.
Manuel Ink’s appearance made him frown.
"You don’t even know how to knock anymore? No manners!" he scolded coldly.
Manuel Ink ignored him, pulled the door shut behind him, and walked toward him step by step. "Summer’s missing. Did you know about this?"
"Oh." Old Master Ink just drew out the sound in response, his tone making it unclear whether he was affirming what he said or indicating that he understood him.
Manuel Ink’s face was drawn tight, his gaze locked on Old Master Ink’s face, eyes sharp. "This has nothing to do with you, right?"
He asked bluntly, and Old Master Ink had never been one to shy away from trouble; if he had done something, he had the guts to admit it.
