Chapter 1343: Chapter 1343: Lost My Wife
Watt Bennet seemed not to hear him, opening one door after another in search.
"Lost your wife?" Old Master Ink looked at him sideways, his tone probing.
Watt continued to ignore him, only focused on his search.
Old Master Ink chuckled, starting to mock sarcastically, "A grown man who can’t even keep his own wife, why even get married?"
Watt paused his steps toward the stairs, slowly lifting his face, his gaze sweeping coldly upstairs at him, "What has this got to do with you, Old Master?"
He spoke without fear of offending, although, arguing with Old Master Ink was nothing new for him, Old Master Ink’s expression remained unfazed, merely humming lightly.
At this moment, he was thinking, how could this have nothing to do with him? If anything happened to Summer Sutton, Manuel Ink would definitely be worried!
The only grandson, Manuel Ink’s affairs are certainly Old Master Ink’s affairs.
However, at this late night, the Old Master was in no mood to bicker with Watt.
With Summer Sutton now in his grasp, he had already won.
"Do as you please, I’m off to sleep!" He shrugged indifferently, moving his legs toward his room upstairs.
Once he left, he never appeared in front of Watt again, nor did he involve himself in Watt’s search of the villa.
Watt searched the villa for a while, found nothing, and then led people out of the resort to the airport, looking throughout other places on the island.
Bali Island is not small, the desolate areas are truly desolate, after nightfall, the fields are pitch black, with nothing visible.
Finding someone in such a place is inherently difficult, not to mention considering the possibility that Summer Sutton might have already left the island.
After searching for an entire night, no results came, no information was received from the airport about Summer Sutton leaving the island.
But no record of her departure doesn’t necessarily mean she’s on the island, she could have been taken away by someone using fake documents or other means.
With Summer Sutton already missing, the wedding the next day certainly couldn’t proceed smoothly, the guests invited began leaving Bali Island one by one the following day.
As guests left, for Watt, the difficulty of searching undoubtedly increased.
Manuel Ink left the island on the third day with Old Master Ink, with only the grandfather and grandson, plus four servants.
Watt’s gaze followed the group as they moved, quietly focusing on the Old Master’s figure for a moment, then turned to pick up his phone and made a call, "Follow the Inks back to the country, report to me all their schedules in the coming days!"
After dropping these words, he hung up and continued to organize people to search on the island.
Ryan Walyon did not leave, probably concerned about Summer Sutton’s safety, he alone stayed behind after all the guests had left.
He did not have any exchange with Watt, but ever since Summer Sutton went missing, he silently kept having people searching around the island.
The two teams searched for a full five days, still with no news, guessing Summer Sutton should have already left the island, Watt and Ryan Walyon left Bali Island on the same day.
One returned to the country, while the other’s flight was to the city where the Ink Family Castle was located.
The most likely people to take Summer Sutton away, and choose such a time before the wedding, besides Ryan Walyon and the Inks, Watt couldn’t think of anyone else.
