Chapter 1345: Chapter 1345: Want to See Her

Manuel Ink was silent for a good ten minutes after he spoke, his gaze directed at the Old Master, and he slowly uttered, "Let me see her first."

The Old Master thought for a moment and gave him an address.

He felt that after telling Manuel Ink so much, Manuel would know what to do once he saw Summer Sutton.

Manuel didn’t linger in the living room much longer. After getting Summer Sutton’s whereabouts, he turned and headed out of the castle.

Glara Island.

Glara Island is a very beautiful island in R Country. Its location is remote, and it’s rumored to have been purchased by a mysterious family years ago. Now a private island, it is strictly controlled with security, and no vessels or external personnel are allowed to approach freely, making the current state of Glara Island unknown to the outside world.

In a garden blooming with roses, the heavy iron gate was pushed open, and a tall figure walked through the sea of flowers, the echoing footsteps sound stark and unfamiliar on the overly quiet island.

In the room on the second floor, Summer Sutton sat quietly, listening to the noises below, and suddenly stood up.

He has come!

Manuel Ink!

Since leaving Bali Island, she had been here for more than ten days, and during these days, apart from the servants who delivered her meals daily, she hardly saw anyone.

Throughout these days, Summer Sutton had guessed multiple potential identities of those who took her away, but she thought mostly of Ryan Walyon.

But now, the appearance of Manuel Ink unequivocally negated her speculation.

If it were Manuel Ink, she wouldn’t worry about anything.

She knew Manuel Ink’s character; he wouldn’t force her to make any decision she didn’t want to. Even if the Old Master placed her here, Summer Sutton believed Manuel Ink would let her go.

Having confirmed the footsteps belonged to Manuel Ink, Summer Sutton ran downstairs, her face full of joy, "Manuel, you came!"

Manuel Ink lifted his face and quietly looked at her standing at the top of the spiral staircase, his gaze lingering on her face for quite some time.

He hadn’t seen Summer Sutton for several days. She was attended to daily by servants, dressed in a simple-designed white dress, as pure as the sunlight on Glara Island, shining straight into one’s heart.

He looked somewhat lost in thought, just quietly gazing at Summer Sutton without speaking.

His demeanor made Summer Sutton pause.

"Manuel, what’s wrong?" She called softly.

Manuel Ink snapped back from her words, his expression appeared slightly unnatural, but soon it calmed down.

"Nothing, just thinking about something else." He replied softly.

"Oh." Summer Sutton acknowledged his response without dwelling on it, "By the way, why are you here today? Did Grandpa agree to let you come?"

Summer Sutton was smart. Although she didn’t know how she ended up here, she could guess it had nothing to do with Manuel Ink.

This behavior was clearly something the Old Master would often do.

"Yes." Manuel Ink nodded gently.

Summer Sutton hesitated after his words, seemingly pondering something, her face turned to him once again, "Did you agree to Grandpa’s conditions?"

Smart as she was, staying here for so many days without Manuel Ink showing up, and him suddenly arriving today, she could guess that the grandfather and grandson must have discussed something.

At this thought, Summer Sutton felt a vague sense of unease in her heart.
